  1. Nothing is when I'm wearing it
  2. I had to get over the ears ear-pro for shooting as I hate all thing in-ear. The big thing for me is that it needs to go all the way around my ears or it gets uncomfy real fast. Had to shop around for a while until I found headphones that fit the bill too.
  3. White American and Muenster
  4. I have a problem with eating regularly as I often forget to eat because I get caught up in whatever I'm doing. I made my wife a burrata salad with arugula, roasted cherry tomatoes, strawberries, crushed hazelnuts, and drizzled with balsamic vinegar. I made myself a grilled cheese sandwich and then spent the remainder of the evening with a stomach ache.
  5. You can change the theme at the bottom of the page but I'm not a fan of the other option
  6. Jon will be the new
  7. I know this is the funny things thread but to not really answer your question, For 7th Consecutive Year, Visa Overstays Exceeded Illegal Border Crossings.
  8. Roll Tide!
  9. Dealt with a screaming baby half the evening. Thank baby whatever you believe in for a mamaroo. At least my dogs and I are bonding over this shared misery.
  10. Wine Country on Netflix. I really like these kinds of humorous feel good movies and this was a good example of the genre. A bunch of mostly SNL vets star as aging women friends on a Napa destination birthday party for one of their friends. The wife and I really enjoyed it. Not a perfect exemplar of its type but a solid entry.
  11. I've had a few posts that seem to have broken something so that I can't edit or even quote them. Usually, they have too much blank space and introduced horizontal scrolling (which isn't even needed) for me. I've reported the most recent of those posts because I didn't know what else to do with it.
  12. I skipped the last Season of True Blood and while I liked the Psych ending I didn't think it stuck the landing well enough. Castle is another show I watched to completion but didn't really like the end of but in that case, I believe they shot different endings in case the show got renewed. I didn't like the Voyager, House, or the X-Files finales either and I'm now realizing I've just dropped a few other shows before the end came like with Scrubs, Babylon 5, and the aforementioned True Blood. Elementary is ending after the upcoming season so we'll see how that goes. I don't remember the end of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air even though I'm sure I've seen it
  13. Parks and Rec, TNG, DS9, Cheers, Seinfeld and I kinda liked the end of Community as well. I've not watched a lot of newer shows due to lack of interest so my list is somewhat limited.
  14. Seems kinda overblown to me, at least from the consumer perspective, as there's always a risk of a sale and you paying more than if you just had luckier timing. I'd file it under things that would be more generally accepted if Valve was doing it. Speaking of which, didn't Steam sales used to be crazy low prices back in the day? I don't know if Gaben was eating those loses entirely on his end and I may be misremembering but I do vaguely recall Steam sales actually being a can't miss event way back when.
  15. How many Losts was that episode?
  16. Nope, not an Epic exclusive or timed exclusive or even semi-exclusive.
  17. ‘Playing Catch-Up in the Game of Life.’ Millennials Approach Middle Age in Crisis. New data show they’re in worse financial shape than every preceding living generation and may never recover I thought this would be interesting as we discussed something similar in PoE2 section a while back. Also, Why Are Millennials Rejecting Prized Family Possessions? The experience economy is upending tradition
  18. Was planning on cutting the grass today but it's too cold out. I refuse to go outside unless I absolutely have to when it's sub 60 out.
  19. Finished Community and now going to give Barry a try.
  20. Chorizo and egg breakfast burritos
  21. We don't usually go neutral but we also use canola off and on and sometimes safflower or grapeseed oils. Anytime I can use butter I like to go that route and my wife prefers EVOO over pretty much everything else followed by ghee as a distant second. But as I said we don't often opt for neutral as fries in coconut oil is a favorite of the missus and I like to experiment. Sorry, probably not very helpful.
  22. On mine, Biden came in 3rd to last behind Johnson and above Kasich and Trump.
  23. In pure numbers, sure, but the military doesn't actual function like that. In other news, isidewith.com has been updated
  24. Going to the Supreme Court is maybe the point if some of the talking heads are correct. It's possible they think they have a good chance to overturn or weaken Roe v Wade with the new court and it also allows everyone a chance to see where the new guys will actually stand on this issue. As far as putting together a force of at least 1.6 million, it's not going to happen as it would require a draft or a large multinational peacekeeping force and the will isn't there for either of those options so we'd be left with just more of the same.
