The smoker setting worked really good. I smoked some ribs for several hours and they came out great. Much better than the smoker on my old grill but I've never had a separate dedicated smoker so take that with a grain of Lot's wife.

I've burned myself out on the 3 MMOs I cycle through and I'm still stuck using a broken down laptop so I fired up CK2 and spent too much time trying to get to a point where my immortal* Atenic Egyptian martial dude can kick out the Muslims and return Egypt to the worship of the one true god. Still seems a long, long way off. *I give my guys immortality at the cost of their fertility. They can't produce heirs but can live until the end of the game if they play their cards right and get a little lucky.

I grew up with a grill made from a trash can so I'm not all that picky with my grills. I went big my first and last time getting a serious business grill and was disappointed. My wife is the more discerning one and she picked out a Traeger which I'd say is more of an appliance than a true grill. I mean, you have to plug it in to use it and it doesn't take wood or charcoal either. It takes these tiny little wood pellets that you load into like a side compartment and then it's all buttons and dials so it's also really hands off.

Got a new grill yesterday and today we had a crazy unexpected hailstorm just after I started cooking.

People have been shooting off fireworks everyday for over a week. I don't know how much more my dogs can take. Considering calling the cops as fireworks are illegal here but since I also shot off illegal fireworks when I was a kid I'm hesitant. Though back then I only did it on July 4th because I had more consideration than to start shooting them off in June.

It's better than last years plan of having a full military parade but better still doesn't make it a good plan. According to your link the tanks will be stationary and not involved in the parade itself and at a cost of nearly 900k it seems indulgent for what, I agree with Gromnir here, is likely to just be a Trump rally/re-election campaign speech. Add to this who knows how many soldiers will be losing their 96 (4 day weekend) over this and it doesn't seem worth it. As I believe GD said about the last parade, if you want to honor the troops then give them a day off but I think we can all safely assume that our President really only does (or tries to do) things like this to honor himself.

Gotta work with what you got

We binged about half the first season and did mostly weekly viewings for the remainder and the show definitely benefits with time between the episodes.

Maybe they don't actually want to build nukes or maybe they already can and have chosen not to, I dunno. Most articles I've read seem to believe Iran wants to go back to the bargaining table so maybe they feel their hand is stronger if they can potentially build them but have not done so as of yet. I haven't been following it that closely but I thought the US had already backed out of the Iran Nuke-U-Ler deal.

Would be funny if they all chose Iran

After his previous internal polling had him losing to several Dems he had to come up with something he'd definitely win.

More Hardwood + Round Holes = Lots of Scoring in Basketball 2K19

Looks like KD and Kyrie to the Nets. DeAndre Jordan too apparently. Kemba Walker to the Celtics. Middleton and B Lopez sticking with the Bucks while Brogdon gets traded to the Pacers. Lillard took a supermax extension to stay in Portland for the next 5 or 6 years Tobias Harris reupped in Philly and Al Horford headed to the Sixers Butler to the Heat in a sign and trade deal also including the Mavs Reddick to the Pelicans. Julius Randle to the Knicks Still nothing yet on Kawhi -
Soccer isn't my jam but I've seen variations of the same kind of argument in basketball. I've played against and occasionally beaten college and NBA players in pickup games when I was in high school but nobody was stupid enough to think we were actually better than them.

Pulled weeds for an hour or so then went to Best Buy to get a new Chromecast for the TV in the basement. As I'm checking out I buy the little 5 bucks warranty they offer me because my last one broke in less than a year and where I live now the store is less than 10 minutes away. Anyways, I give them my phone number and the dude asks me to make sure my info is correct and surprisingly it was. I just moved 3 months ago and I still own the old place but they had my new address and everything even though I'm not sure how as I haven't bought anything from them in store or online in who knows how long. Big brother got me.

Interesting, I always thought checkpoints were meant as deterrents not as the most effective way of actually catching drunk drivers

It doesn't get any smarter and is super frustrating. The RLM review is pretty spot on.

I think they had him listed as a tech executive or entrepreneur in the debates. Now I'm curious enough to go back and rewatch just to see

It's funny because Yang is way up near the top on my ISideWith results but I didn't even know who he was.
-
Google says Andrew Yang. I though I saw them flash tech something or other under him. I didn't catch his name during the debate but to be honest I was only half watching. Google also says the authors name was Marianne Williamson.
-
I didn't really like anyone on the debate stage but I thought the author was amusing and was surprised at how little the tech guy spoke. I'm also hopeful the debates will get better as the field narrows. I laughed when Hickenlooper bragged that we were the first to legalize recreational marijuana as he was actually opposed to it.
