  1. Ugh, please no Abduh
  2. Mostly the stories. She doesn't mind the character and she even likes the Bashir-O'Brien bromance. We also finished Good Omens and enjoyed that quite a bit.
  3. It's sad when O'Brien has a better love life than you PS my wife hates O'Brien episodes in DS9. I think the only one she actually likes is when he jumps forward in time.
  4. 27 bucks on GOG at the moment
  5. I'm looking forward to another run
  6. https://www.pcgamer.com/baldurs-gate-3-will-combine-the-best-of-divinity-and-dandd-5th-edition/ A little more info in that article
  7. The game was also quite terrible. Doubly so if you liked pew pewing things with magic.
  8. I haven't seen any details yet but I'd be surprised if it isn't whatever edition is the latest and greatest.
  9. It's official Website
  10. Wife wants chicken marbella added to the regular meal rotation which is more of an idea than an actual rotation. Probably would not have considered making it or would have substituted prunes out if it wasn't for Gromnir's pot roast recipe. Ordered some black garlic on Amazon because it's too stinky to make and Safeway stopped carrying it. Supposedly some specialty markets around town might have some but I've no interest in driving out to Aurora.
  11. Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York Announced. Another Vampire game
  12. IIRC Walter Koenig, the original Chekov, was also the son of Jewish Russian immigrants though he was born in the here and not in the Soviet Union. Forgot to mention that I heard the accent was played up on purpose. Don't remember the source for that though.
  13. From wiki Anton Viktorovich Yelchin was an American actor. He played Pavel Chekov in three Star Trek films: Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, and the posthumously released Star Trek Beyond. Born to a Russian Jewish family in Leningrad, Yelchin and his family moved to the United States when he was a baby.
  14. I find it a silly complaint too but I think injurai has it right. I used to get more frustrated with it but my wife, who is eastern European, pointed out something similar to me when we were watching some random movie or show. I was getting frustrated because some of the actors seemed out of place but she was like they're all wrong as none of the actors were the correct ethnicities and they were all speaking gibberish. It's just where the line is drawn is different for different people. I get frustrated watching war movies or most things involving the military as they usually can't get the most basic things right but most people wouldn't notice or care. But to reiterate my first point, I still think it's a silly complaint.
  15. I second BBCode editing. It's probably the one thing I miss the most.
  16. Chicken marbella and black rice. Ducking felicious.
  17. I prefer TB in general so I don't mind that change if it happens but I realize that most people probably won't feel the same way
  18. He's a proven liar and not even the regular politician type liar either as he doubles down his lies rather than retract them. His supporters either excuse or ignore it and it doesn't matter what his opposition thinks because you're either with him or against him. This is the state of things now. The new normal. Bruce, that's a quote from Rudy Giuliani. https://www.latimes.com/nation/la-fg-quotes-of-the-year-20181212-story.html
  19. Always Be My Maybe, a Netflix rom-com from Ali Wong and Randall Park. It was one of the more frustrating romantic comedies in parts but it some decent chuckles, a good ending, and Keanu Reeves.
  20. It's weird seeing the game from that perspective, like a different game,
  21. I kinda feel bad for Beamdog if Larian or someone else makes BG3. That's not to say that I would prefer them to make it but since that was their stated long term goal at the beginning of all the EEs, I'd just feel for them.
  22. Nearly finished the entire first season of What We Do in the Shadows in one night. I guess you could say we like it.
  23. Don't kill my dreams I think Obs could vastly improve on some aspects of the HBS games and I love the HBS games. I'm worried they might mess up the combat but I'd love a more branching narrative and greater roleplaying options.
  24. I'd never heard of the game or the lawsuit but that does seem pretty sketchy
  25. I google Ska songs about saying goodbye but they mostly seemed negative so.. yeah. Fallback clip.
