I'm glad I'm not a big fan

If that is indeed the plot then it's something of an odd contrivance PS I almost throat punched my cousin's boyfriend because when I showed him the trailer he said that he was surprised and might actually watch it now because it has some action and not boring talking. My cousin is already upset with me because I politely invited the guy to leave. You can talk about me all you want but nobody can bad mouth talky philosophical Trek under my roof.

I've had a lot of fun on the Legendary servers It's not the old mechanics but it is nice to run through the beginning of the game again and see it heavily populated with the slower level speed and the slow roll out of the expansions. Had a blast running Carn Dum, Urugarth, and Barad Gularan again Almost forgot Helegrod and the Rift

Probably just casting aspersions. She's taking a somewhat different approach than the others and this is a good way to vilify her.. and probably still hate from when she broke with the DNC and backed Bernie. IIRC Leferd held a similar opinion on how she should be punished.

We've been making pizzas on the grill for the last couple of nights. My wife's favorite is white pizza with thick slices of fresh mozzarella and a smattering of goat cheese, figs, black garlic, caramelized onion, and drizzled with balsamic vingeger (which I call ball-slamic and it cracks me up to no end). It smells pretty good but I've not dared to try it as I've not been able to eat much solid food for the past couple of weeks.

What games do you have the most nostalgia for?
ShadySands replied to james bowers's topic in Computer and Console
BattleTech PowerHits collection and Legends of Terris It was one (three) of the games that really got me into computer gaming and I followed that addiction with an online text based game that I would often dream about, in text. I still log into it every once in awhile. Followed by Civ3 because it was a game I used to get my dad hooked on computer gaming. I'll never forget the Sunday morning we were supposed to go to a movie or something and I showed him my new game and we wasted the whole day on it without realizing it was already night time. Good times. And last but not least HoMM2, sunk about a billion million trillion hours cubed on this and the sequel in both multiplayer and single player Hmm, now that I think about it all these games, with the exception of BattleTech, I played with my dad so that seems to be a common factor here. -
I don't care if a new game or series is created as something I'm not interested in but I do get disappointed when a series I enjoy is changed into something I have no interest in. That's not to say I dwell over it and write one man plays and do interperative dance or whatever I was into last year to share my feels with the world.

Pallets of water bottles left out in the sun is not good on its own. It starts to taste plasticy, if that's a real word. Story was that the water left out in the heat for long periods of time would start to leech toxins from the plastic. I'm not science man so I don't know if that's accurate but the taste definitely changes.

Yep, all of the shows and movies they have availble for streaming are available to you. Also, nothing wrong with using a trial to watch what you want. Their goal is to get you in and have the rest of their content keep you beyond the free trial.

I meant it as another knock on Sven's knowledge of the series and I acknowledge that was low of me

Isn't it 3E and not 3.5? I thought 3.5 came out the year after IWD2 was released

"Go back to " has a long history here. Maybe some of the international folks have similar things in their own countries. Words or phrases that have other much more negative connotations behind them than may appear at first glance or to someone unfamiliar. https://www.npr.org/2019/07/15/741827580/go-back-where-you-came-from-the-long-rhetorical-roots-of-trump-s-racist-tweets I've personally been told to go back to various different places usually depending on where I am in the country. Though to be fair to the racists, because everyone needs a break, I'm decently tough to pin down since my (ancient alien) ancestors are from figurative literally everywhere.

He said he prefers turned based so I don't think slowness or not being flashy enough is the issue but more that they don't have a lot to do. I tend to agree as my first BG character was a fighter and I hated it being such a passive experience. I ended up switching to casters because even though low level casting is pretty weak it gave me a sense of participation. I believe it was one of the things Josh Sawyer talked about in the first Pillars Kickstarter and why Pillars fighters have more to do right from the jump.
