  1. Looks like KD and Kyrie to the Nets. DeAndre Jordan too apparently. Kemba Walker to the Celtics. Middleton and B Lopez sticking with the Bucks while Brogdon gets traded to the Pacers. Lillard took a supermax extension to stay in Portland for the next 5 or 6 years Tobias Harris reupped in Philly and Al Horford headed to the Sixers Butler to the Heat in a sign and trade deal also including the Mavs Reddick to the Pelicans. Julius Randle to the Knicks Still nothing yet on Kawhi
  2. Soccer isn't my jam but I've seen variations of the same kind of argument in basketball. I've played against and occasionally beaten college and NBA players in pickup games when I was in high school but nobody was stupid enough to think we were actually better than them.
  3. Pulled weeds for an hour or so then went to Best Buy to get a new Chromecast for the TV in the basement. As I'm checking out I buy the little 5 bucks warranty they offer me because my last one broke in less than a year and where I live now the store is less than 10 minutes away. Anyways, I give them my phone number and the dude asks me to make sure my info is correct and surprisingly it was. I just moved 3 months ago and I still own the old place but they had my new address and everything even though I'm not sure how as I haven't bought anything from them in store or online in who knows how long. Big brother got me.
  4. Interesting, I always thought checkpoints were meant as deterrents not as the most effective way of actually catching drunk drivers
  5. It doesn't get any smarter and is super frustrating. The RLM review is pretty spot on.
  6. Another Hacked Florida City Pays a Ransom, This Time for $460,000
  7. I think they had him listed as a tech executive or entrepreneur in the debates. Now I'm curious enough to go back and rewatch just to see
  8. It's funny because Yang is way up near the top on my ISideWith results but I didn't even know who he was.
  9. Google says Andrew Yang. I though I saw them flash tech something or other under him. I didn't catch his name during the debate but to be honest I was only half watching. Google also says the authors name was Marianne Williamson.
  10. I didn't really like anyone on the debate stage but I thought the author was amusing and was surprised at how little the tech guy spoke. I'm also hopeful the debates will get better as the field narrows. I laughed when Hickenlooper bragged that we were the first to legalize recreational marijuana as he was actually opposed to it.
  11. Reservations for Taco Bell’s hotel sell out in 2 minutes
  12. I'm of the belief that Bernie would have won in 2016 as I don't believe that level of support for Trump existed then as it does now. To your point, I also knew people that hated Trump but voted for him as the lesser of two evils but have since turned into Trump diehards in the following years. Anecdotal but I've heard other people say the same. It's part of the reason I got off social media, got tired of old friends and acquaintances becoming more politically radicalized. Complete disengagement may not have been the best answer for civil discourse but was the best choice for our sanity.
  13. It's kind of hard to say since Bernie was getting so much independent support last cycle. I mean, I don't think she'll get that same level of support and it was only in the primaries but it's just tough for me to hazard a guess at this point. Agreed.
  14. I think you are thinking of Tammy Duckworth, your Senator "I wonder how many of those searches for Tulsi Gabbard were followed by nude" Random comment that made me laugh while researching the debates followed by "I wonder how many of those same nude searches Bernie gets" Though now I'm reminded that there were several articles going into how hot a young Bernie was
  15. Biden is currently the anointed one but if he should tank I wonder who is the next preferred never-Sanders establishment candidate. I missed the debate but it looks like Gabbard got her name out there a bit.
  16. Ass Catchem...
  17. It's not as great storywise but I liked the additions to combat and gearing It also changes decking to real time until combat starts and I've heard of a lot of people hating that change
  18. I feel like I'm forgetting something but here is my ranked list SR:DF/HK Yoga Fire P:K Tyranny WL2 POE1 T:ToN SR:R D:OS1 D:OS2
  19. Yeah, I highly doubt that they'd do anything other than isometric but if they did then that'd kill any interest I currently have.
  20. Sounds like it might summon an elder god
  21. #BlueLivesMatter unless they are coming after us
  22. Today I learned that male bears are called boars and females are called sows. Thank you funny things thread. When I was a young warthog, on a rare trip with my extended family up in the mountains around Pinetop-Lakeside, I once had a crazy bear encounter. I like to tell the story as if the bear chased us and we outran it but the truth is that we heard something that we thought sounded like a bear and then we ran in the opposite direction knowing deep down that we didn't have to outrun the bear and we only had to not be the slow one. I kinda feel bad for my youngest cousin (only by a couple of years) because he was crying as we all passed him but thinking back I remember that they all took off running before and without me so who's the real bad guy. Almost as soon as I reached the head of the pack a gunshot or something like it rang out ahead of us. We stopped and looked at each other, young(er) cousin still way in the back, then all bolted off to the right of the direction we had been running. We really didn't have much choice because it's not like we wanted to go back towards the maybe but probably very likely a bear.Anyways, the right seemed and was the correct direction to go as it wasn't who knows how much later that we'd made our way back "home" to what could generously be described as a cabin. And our bear bait slowpoke cousin arrived a good minute or so later still crying but generally uneaten and gunshot. I think we got into some serious trouble that day, my friends, and I don't think anyone believed our story until the next day when we'd heard that someone had shot at (or possibly just saw) a bear in the woods somewhere around where we were. I'm pretty sure I've shared that one before
  23. I also don't know any vets like that but then again I also don't hang around many vets.. and even less police. Anyways, bourbon over scotch even though I do enjoy that too and I might have to go with the 91 Eagles over the Bears and the Steelers. The others should be pretty obvious
