Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2

I don't think they've been more specific than 21st century but I haven't kept on top of it. -

Going back and forth on getting Battle Brothers and Fell Seal since they're on sale on GOG and they seem right up my alley. -
That's why I was curious about what part of the Russia thing Gfted1 meant and thanks to him for clarifying. Did they actually change any votes themselves? Nope. Did they try to heavily influence the outcome of the election? Yes. Can we measure how successful that effort was? Not really, no. Did the Trump campaign "collude" with Russia? Insufficient evidence to bring conspiracy charges. Did they try to? Yes. Is that nothing? In my mind no, it's not nothing. PS I refuse to type nothing before the last name of the 15th chief justice of the US

I don't remember it being nothing unless you mean something specific.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2

I thought it had a good mix of both -
Hi ShadySands, We're excited to launch our next Kickstarter: Summer Daze at Hero-U. We're doing some exciting new things with this game to make it fun and accessible both for committed adventure gamers and for casual audiences. Summer Daze at Hero-U focuses on the core elements of characters, story, and player choices. It's of course set at Hero-U (as a prequel to Rogue to Redemption), and will be playable on iOS and Android as well as Windows, Mac, and Linux. As a past supporter and fan of our games, we want to ask you to consider pledging on day ONE so that we can have the strongest launch possible. The campaign will launch at noon PDT on Tuesday, Oct. 2, and run for 35 days so that we can celebrate Halloween with you during the campaign. We have some special early-bird tiers for the first backers. In particular, our Beach Blanket Beta tier, normally $100, will cost just $90 for the first 100 backers. We also have a special catch-up tier for players who don't have a Hero-U or Quest for Glory game key, or want to get extra keys to give to friends. The "Summer (and Winter) Games" tier is also limited to the first 100 backers. We're seeking $100,000, enough to finish and polish Summer Daze. We're hoping to raise an additional $50,000 to fund foreign language translations and English-language voice acting. Major success in the campaign will allow us to add even more cool stretch goals and add-on items. Extra funds could even allow us to start preproduction work on Hero-U 2: Wizards Way. You can help us reach these goals by supporting the campaign early and sharing it with your friends, social media, and favorite media outlets. Can we count on your pledge? Click here to count yourself in! Thanks! Lori and Corey Cole Transolar Games, Inc.

The lies and conspiracy theories are going to continue no matter what but Giuliani keeps digging a deeper hole so if it were me I'd want him to continue running his mouth. But maybe that's just me.
-
Supposedly Biden's campaign has put out a request for news networks to stop booking Giuliani. This seems like a dumb ask to me and not just because of the obvious reasons but because I haven't seen him make anything better or even provide any defense but rather he often seems to make things worse for himself and his client. Is anyone following the Amber Guyger murder trial at all? If so can you please explain to me what the issue is? She admitted to going into the wrong apartment and killing the occupant. We've got a Texas Ranger saying he doesn't believe she committed a crime (though I read he was not allowed to say that in front of the jury). Is it because she was a cop? Is she just trying to get a lesser charge or is she really trying to get away with it? My primitive brain doesn't understand.

Had a long discussion with the missus about what we want to be when we grow up and then we went to the shooting range for an hour. After we got back I took a bubble bath and played with the dogs.

We did Trials and Tribble-ations and Far Beyond the Stars to win over our converts. This was mostly just playing to the audience's sensibilities and I was trying to sell them on Sisko more than the show itself. Netflix for us too. I used to have all the seasons on DVD but they got swiped a long time ago. We do skip some episodes occasionally and Move Along Home always but we generally watch most of a season and it takes us months to get through the whole show. Now if only I can get around to watching the last episode of Elementary. I think part of what's holding me back is that I can imagine how the show could tie everything up satisfactorily in only one episode.

I've already started my second viewing of the year. I just got some visiting family members on the path of the Prophets and their emissary, the Sisko.

I don't think holding office for a very long time is bad in and of itself but I don't think it's a positive either as I'm also not seeing how being in office for 30 to 60 years has any innate advantages. Even if we can move to 100% publicly funded elections (and especially if we cannot) I do think that term limits would still have a beneficial effect though I don't have any sort of proof to support my ideas. Ideas which are generally the same pro term limit arguments you'll find anywhere.
-
I tend to think of them as different issues generally. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for getting as much money out of politics as possible too and I think both need to be accomplished to get any meaningful change.
-
I think I read somewhere that the average length of time in congress is about 10 years so I'd probably cap it at no higher than 20 years. Though I'd also be for letting terms that would run a little longer continue on. Example would be someone with 15 to 19 years experience ( and assuming a 20 year limit) winning a senate race that would keep them in office to 21 to 25 years and they would be done after that.

Not really A small anti-climate change activist group writing a letter to the UN doesn't really mean much of anything and has even less to do with the scientific consensus on the issue.
