Meh, not the first Obs game I've skipped. And now I have a sudden urge to go watch some Rick Moranis movies

I just want to be able to get sick without losing everything and I think that's a far cry from some communist revolution. After spending some time in countries with universal healthcare and the like I've got to say that I never saw anything like death squads and dictatorships. Except in Canada.

Well, pretty much nobody is asking for full socialism though so you don't have anything to worry about. They want better social programs, health care, and safety net. It's kind of like when you bring up being libertarian and someone will inevitably suggest you want the most extreme full blown libertarian scenario they can think of when that's not really what you want at all.

That's not how this works. We only deal in absolutes when it comes to capitalism/socialism except for when it helps our arguments.

I do enjoy the tang I finally got a look at the original recipe for the dish from the 80s (it's an American dish inspired by Spanish and Morrocan cruisine) and it calls for way more sugar than I use but I've seen so many recipes talk about cutting or dropping the sugar which is why I've been toying with it. That and just a general push to limit sugar.

I can't say for sure since I don't hang out much elsewhere but I doubt it's all that much different. I play a lot of sports games and there isn't much, if any, competition in that space so people argue about which year had the best entry.

Chicken Marbella time again. It's funny how much this gets requested since there was some hesitantcy to make it the first time around. Chicken thighs only this time around instead of legs and thighs and the rest is generally the same. Green olives, capers, prunes, and garlic with oregano, sugar, pepper, paprika, cinnamon, and salt in white wine with red wine vinegar. I use chicken bouillon to punch it up a bit but that's pretty much the guts of the dish. Or at least the recipe I'm working with. I've thought of dropping the sugar and using a sweeter wine but since wine isn't my game I've been holding off.

I have a lot of issue with the storytelling in Disco but that's not one of them.

STO mostly I've been meaning to get back to TOW and my latest CK2 playthrough but now since the new LOTRO xpac dropped this week I now have to go do that.
