the only problem with Twin Elms i had was from RP perspective. I know where the big bad has gone, and whats he trying to do, i know how to get to him and stop him, but instead i go around solving (rp wise) minor quests (and i even went and did endless paths at that point) In character, as soon as you ar able to get to the twin elms , you should rush after the bad guy ignoring the rest

i was afraid of that. i think its inherent to saves being zipped. my game completed save is 6.51 mb in size, has 313 objects in it totaling 95,9 MB unpacked. each map has two files, mapfile (probably the state of the map and the npcs,) and fog file, character portraits, screenshot thumbnail. mobile objects.save file (lagest by far, 14,4 MB, and an xml file. while my new game (Just got into Gilded vale) is 417 KB, and has 28 files in it, totaling 4,6 MB with mobileobjects.save is 959 kb

you have to build up all defences on your tank, because although mele/ranged Kith and 'natural attacks' from monsters target deflection, wizards/druids/cyphers and a lot of monsters target other defences. one of the worst things that can happen to the tank/spank tactic is a tank with low will geting charmed dominated, and not only attacking you, he also loses the agro from enemies which then move on to your squishies (second worst, or maybe even worse thing is getting your dps char dominated and decimating your party, and although 'low level' enemies that charm/confuse attack the frontline guys, more poverful enemies will often charm your archer and then engage your tank in mele)

Save Files getting Bigger
Khalid the bear replied to Darkeus's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
and the saves are already compressed (zipped) which is also a part of the load/save time -
Save Files getting Bigger
Khalid the bear replied to Darkeus's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
i think that works as intended (or known) as the save file not only tracks your chars, inventory and quest progress but also gets new areas added as you progress (and their states, living/killed NPCs) + tracking what you sold to every merchant everywhere (idea-would selling to just one merchant aleviate par of ths) -

After Talking with the dragonslayer and telling her the truth, dragons amulet shatters at it says i feel dragon angry, while draonslayer says igained a powerful enemy and have to kill it. When i got to the dragon,it was soulles, had nothing to say and passive unles i initiated combat. If igo for treasure it attacks but stays green. During his converation first time he says he will place a portion of his soulinto the amulet. so both the conversation with dragon while accepting the quet and the qest part with dragonslayer would indicate that dragon shoulldnt be soulles when yougo back to fiish him is tis a bug or intended?
