You refer to the comment about not wanting to read plot suggestions? Actually I don't pay that any attention. If people want to post plot suggestions then they will and should. Besides, many of us have posted them in the past, only we didn't exactly want the same things in the game. Oh well... I don't discuss it anymore, because I sort of regret that I posted my own ideas. Not that I mind other people reading it, but now I'm thinking I'll be disappointed when K3 does come out and it's not what I expected. I would have been better off not thinking about it and instead just accepted the surprise of the next game's plot... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If obsidian is to make K3 I think they'll do a bang up job. I'm not really worried as much as how intrigued as in how they will deal with the cliffhanger... Probably not the original plan, of course, but reading up on the cut content I'm pretty impressed with the way TSL should have ended. They do have some talented writers. Ah well, let go of the past and look to the future.

/snipped for length Well, I assume he failed since he If he wasn't captured, then he would have gone on to rule the Galaxy. The fact that he didn't first time (regardless of actions at the end of K1), means that he failed first time around. Or am I missing something? I agree about the Kreia training though <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If I remember properly Revan was attacked by Malak when his back was turned. Granted, maybe if that Jedi strike team didn't come to capture him maybe malak doesn't attack but that's up to speculation. I don't know if he failed in that aspect because Malak went on to "conquer" (loosely put) the galaxy. If Revan didn't make a return probably would have. To be a sith is to pounce on every oppourtunity and Malak did that. Supposely, Revan taught Malak the ways of the sith and in that regard he succeeded as a Sith lord.

Speaking of action figures and such I always wanted to play that hologram game chewbaca and R2 play. The one with the monsters.

Very interesting topic, what comes to mind when you ask, "if Revan failed as a Sith Lord" is what was he trying to accomplish as a Sith lord? Now there are many theories on why Revan fell in the first place. From which ever view you take upon yourself to elaborate on is purely conjecture. So, here it goes... I believe somewhere before the mando wars that Revan was a LSer and I think there is no disputing that. Now, I think that a jedi or a padawan for that matter while being trained are shown the ways of the jedi through the eyes of their teacher. We know that from K2 that Revan had many masters but Kriea (the old Hag herself) was one of the most influential in Revan's training. Going on memory here but either after the Exile's trial or when the Jedi masters meet at the enclave near the end of K2 I believe Vrook saying something like, "everyone she taught has fallen" or somewhere down those lines. I believe (or just throwing another theory out there for debate) that Revan was not totally shown the way of the jedi as much as the full spectrum of the force, which I believe Kriea portrays in her teachings as shown as in the way she trained the Exile. From that point of view the lines between Light and Dark are greatly skewed... but hey what do I know

Personally, I hate the running away and heal yourself tatic or rigging an area with mines routine. It feels as if you somehow cheated the game and yourself. I like the good old saber battle to the doom. Kriea and Malak are some strong foes when you fight them face to face. Kriea's three swords are very difficult right after Kriea.

I also read reviews and saw interviews with developers. I was getting really pumped remembering the old days of hyrule in the N64 world but a whole two console generations later . Then I did a little bit of research on the revolution itself and was unpleasntly surpised when I came across it's controller. It's basically a remote control for a T.V. Maybe I'm a sucker for the good old game pads but the control is not that appealing to me..... Now I'm really debating with myself to get a revolution or not... but as a side note there are sensors on the controller which can sense the actual movement of the controller. Wouldn't it be cool to wave it like a lightsabre.

There's been rumours of a possible Kotor 3 on both Xbox and PS3. What would be the ramifcations of trying to build a game for multiple consoles? Will it take away from the gameplay?

I found that second voice in his head comical in his conversations with farah. I agree, the two thrones was an awesome game with some negatives. The quick kill system was difficult but it had to be or the game would of been all quick-kill spam. Very fun game, it was a good immersion of the previous games with some new flavour. The ending didn't really satisfy me for some reason I can't really put my finger on it...
