  1. When I played Kotor 1 I had a scoundrel/consular mix which was a great mix of stealth, force, and intelligence. Really only backfire was I wasn't chopping through my opposition like butter but stealth attacks were just as effective For K2 Sentinel/jedi master was a good mix but now I think Sentinel/Maurader(spl?) is unstoppable. With the eventual force crush... well lights out.
  2. Nice the best idea I heard
  3. Sidious wasn't that great with a lightsaber. He got owned by Windu and Yoda and had to use the force(lightning and hurling pods) to beat them, but by far was the best Sith Lord of all time. Vader, IMHO, was probably the dumbest or least intelligent. Even in some of the books that take place after the OT was described as nothing more than a brute. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can argue that Sidious was letting Windu own him so that Anakin would step in
  4. You were playing K1 knowing you were Revan on your first playthrough sure
  5. now that would be some darth, you know the all social scar thing - a cruel ruthless sith lord indeed (just kidding). by the way i would have sworn it was bloody red, not orange <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Orange? I guess orange would be gay if it was orange I suppose Geez c'mon people if you're going to dislike something about him pick something that was true. 14 for orange spandex... wow i guess that's what you get when you ask a Kotor 2 forum about Kotor 1 Flawed Poll <_<
  6. Been playing K1 and Canderous brings up the Sith on many occasions. Anyone have any ideas?
  7. I recommend tigerdirect It's great! They have starter kits which you can add to. There is a huge selection in everything that has to do with PC's. I just had an assignment in my computer system course where i had a $2500 budget and i was to "create" a PC. I'm now jealous of my creation. My compaq presario is a musket compared to a sniper rifle.
  8. Oh so no saber=dumb? Sorry I don't see the logic behind that . Palpatine was propably one of the most cunning if not the most cunning sith lords of all time. His empire was the $h!t. No one could mess with him
  9. Like Vashanti said, Visas is a woman undone. Her planet and all she cared about was destroyed and she is a forced apprentice/slave to Nihilus. She had no reason left to live and went to find the exile, but because the exile spares her after the battle, and because she sees the exile as a reason to live, then it makes sense that she is always in servitude and ends up loving him. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well said Blank and Vashanti I never EVER thought of Visas as weak btw. Shes protecting the Exile. She says from the get go that her master and the Exile will meet and its her job to make sure HEs (gender neutrality is stupid, you dont call a cat a dog after all) ready and can win when that time comes. Bastila on other hand was just pushy, egotitical, and obnoxious for 1/2 of K1 and then became TOTALLY the stereotype of weak willed and subservant in the last half. Lets see the comparison. Ego: Bastila thinks she is the savior of the republic Visas really doesnt have a ego Reaction to adversity Visas homeworld destroyed, shes enslaved and over YEARS slowly being broken until she becomes subservant to Nimbus. When Visas does eventually face Nimbus, she either stands up to him or makes the ultimate sacrafice (herself) to save the one she loves. Bastila blames everything on her mother and then seriously conciders with holding the last remaining effect of her father from her EVEN after learning the truth! (IE: Bitter and whinny brat that desperately needs a spanking). When Bastila eventually faces Malak, shes broken in record time and then is turned against her new master in even shorter time proving once and for all she has no will of her own and no spine! She just goes with who ever she thinks will win. Obnoxious: See pretty much any early quote by Bastila Visas has no obnoxiousness in her personality Relationship: When the attraction becomes appearent, Bastila runs and hides from her feelings Visas on other hand makes no excuses and stands by her convictions and goes after what she wants, and doesnt run away when she gets it! So in the end, Visas stands by her man not as a slave but as his protector, willing to sacrafice everything she is for that love Bastila jumps sides at a heart beat based on who she thinks will win, loyal ties and relations be damned! Personally, I think Visas a far better female role model then some spoiled, mouthy child. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We don't know how long it exactly took for Visas to fall to the darkside. I will admit that Bastila did fall rather easily but look at her circumstances: her dad's death, destruction of the dantooine(spl?), and Malak. Malak is pretty persuading given the fact that he was the one who enlisted the Exile. Another thing that's bothering me is your viewpoint of Bastila's feelings. What do jedi teach from a young age? To suppress their feelings. Bastila was acting like any jedi should and that would be to suppress her feelings like any other time but this time it was different. It was love and she just didn't know how to suppress it. I guess it is another indication why love leads to the darkside(anakin ). Visas was a sith and was trained differently. Bastila was a way more complex character. You can see her evolve in the game from a "by the book" jedi, to a emotional wreck, and eventually a person who understands herself better. In the end, I felt more gratification from the Bastila romance then the Visas. I know Visas romance was incomplete c'mon like we don't know what would happen next?
  10. I just wanted to pick the F U option. Well actually I really liked Malak it's just to bad that he was so weak and failed in everything he did
  11. For a Kotor sequel it's missing hanging storylines which should be tied up. For instance the true sith and Revan. Nonetheless, the sith idea instead of jedi is refreshing. In the end though I would like to see a sequel and not a spin-off.
  12. What if the true sith wasn't really an entity as much as it is the dark force itself. Like the holocrons and history of the dead sith. A great ancient evil which calls Revan to it.
  13. Oscar. Mike. Golf. *Not* canon again. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What's up with canon? This was not used in K2, so why do people come up with the assumption that the next game must use canon? Using canon sucks. If they use canon I would be dissapointed. The writers really don't have any ingenuity if they resort to that. I knew what he was getting at but consider the actual question he posed. Maybe if he thought it over and worded it better. Would you rather have a well thought out plot and storyline or more accessories and game upgrades?
  14. I voted for handmaiden but now I wish I voted for T3 the more I think about my playthroughs T3 was always my loyal droid and his new improved attitude was great. I like the conversations between HK and T3 they remind me of the movie equilvalents. It just seems astrotech droids always have so much to hide. :D
  15. Right... I'm sure that was the choice obsidian was left with. Damn them colorful fiends.
  16. I think a sith council is highly unlikely due to their volatile relationships with each other. Even if they were to form some kind of council they would end up destroying each other.
  17. Well lets see how much torture you can take from a sith lord before turning. It was inevitable for her and anyone else in her position.
  18. Doesn't it say in the ending that exile's force sensitive companions are the remnants of the new jedi order?
  19. Bingo... better safe than sorry for the council <_<
  20. Cause it's a great mix and I like to flaunt it
  21. If memory serves me correctly don't the first 2 games let you be evil
  22. A couple years ago when I was intimate with a close friend of mine I thought being friends is what made the relationship so great. At that time I was 16 and so was she. It was great she was like my best friend and lover. When we broke up I met this other girl (Italian+Portuguese) we fell for each other quickly and I'm with her to this day. I'm happy every second I'm around her. Friendships cannot be the same after a relationship. It's just not the same as it would be no matter what anyone will tell you. They do make good relationships though but they can back fire. The best way of finding a person is to meet people and present yourself. I guess what I'm trying to get at is you can go both ways but depends solely on the situation.
  23. How about "I am your father" for creativity.
  24. You bring up good ponits about love and it's complexity. But it's human nature to act like Anakin. Keeping in mind that this is Star Wars and not reality. Anakin's feelings were obviously overdone but to a certain degree most people feel this feeling of helplessness. When your in love don't you dedicate yourself to that person? Isn't it right to help that person? It's a question that many protagonist from many other stories are faced with. Were they wrong? That's where I think Right/Wrong or LS/DS is smeared. Ahhh love it's a bittersweet rollercoaster...
