kotor... hmmm kotor... and...wait.. let me think... kot... wait no basketball
  1. In the United States, I think the Xbox360 is selling for $400, with a strong possibility of it dropping in price right before the ps3 comes out. The difference in price could be as much as $300, which is a significant drop in price in my book. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The problem is that the rest of the world isn't in the states. That price drop is quite steep and I'm sure it could very well turn the tide in favor of M$. However, if it blows up in my face it's still 300$(500$CAN?) down the toilet. I'd still rather put XBox360 savings on a good PC upgrade. I can't save 600$ for PS3. I have a car and appartment. Saving 250$ however is quite reasonable. And the Wii is fully BC. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The canadian dolloar isn't that bad. It's actually pretty strong compared to the last twenty years... I think you just want a nintendo
  2. How about Lando he was a scoundrel too. I chose Han.
  3. It makes no sense. Why would Exile not turning to the dark side result in a wound in the Force? I still hold the "activating the MSG = wound" theory. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As kriea puts it, the force has a will and as we all know she hates it. BUT the Exile has shown the power of turning away from the force and denying "it's" will. Thus creating a wound but I think your theory of "activating the MSG = wound" is very sensible as well. So many lives being snuffed out does have big consciences
  4. There's something more than just language as you put it. Mira was a bounty hunter but was infamous for not killing and yet when she meets the Exile she's friggin slaughtering sith and any oppenents for that matter. The Exile has some incredible force bonds that make people follow even if they don't want to. Revan was and is a good leader and he/she inspires followers whereas in the Exile's case his/her companions have no choice but to follow.
  5. I find it interesting that you put Ludo Kressh on your list Jediphile. Not saying I disagree but what has he done that would warrant one of the most powerful jedi or sith?
  6. Mirax Horn Ysanne Isard Both characters originated and played big roles in the X-wing series (comics and books)
  7. These kind of discussions are always fun because of all the different point of views. The problem of course is trying to compare jedi and sith from totally different time lines boxing has this exact same problem as well. Really, the only way to determine how truly powerful a jedi or sith are you must judge them on their performance at their time line. With this in mind, I think without a shadow of a doubt Obi Wan is truly one of the most noteworthy jedi. Not the best but his impact and victories are obviously apparent. My list: Obi Wan Revan Exile Marka Ragnos Luke Skywalker Palpatine
  8. Couldn't say it any better myself. He sorta resembles R2 which is cool
  9. I thought that line from kriea was a stab at Bioware and the whole Revan plot twist. Bioware uses the plot twist in their story for almost all there games.
  10. Alot of the arguments on why the Darkside is stronger are only in the physical sense. Justice in our own society is "blind" in the sense that judges and policeman and anyone who is part of jurisdicial system must remain unbiased and not blinded by emotions like ANGER or FEAR. The Jedi teachings lean towards that. Not every single battle is fought with a lightsaber and in the end emotions do cloud rightful judgement.
  11. It's said that Sidious was racist not allowing any non-humans join his empire except for special cases... like Thrawn
  12. Actually, according to what you said there it doesn't necessarily mean the darkside is stronger but the person him or herself. My post about Yoda's view of LS vs DS wasn't a "LS is stronger" view at all. I was trying to get the point across that no side is stronger, it is the person and only the person that will determine how strong he or she is.
  13. Yoda: Yes, a Jedi's strength flows from the Force. But beware of the dark side. Anger, fear, aggression; the dark side of the Force are they. Easily they flow, quick to join you in a fight. If once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will, as it did Obi-Wan's apprentice. Luke: Vader... Is the dark side stronger? Yoda: No, no, no. Quicker, easier, more seductive. Luke: But how am I to know the good side from the bad? Yoda: You will know... when you are calm, at peace, passive. A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack. From Yoda himself :D
  14. While your argument is logical, I'll give you that, alot of times comparing characters by whom the defeat is a difficult feat to base their ability to match up with each other. For example, there are numerous times where boxers are matched up by whom they defeated and gone on to fight the prize fight only to lose horribly... Oscar Del La Hoya <_< I'm spanish, it hurts that much more Whom's better? It's tricky but maybe they're not supposed to be the best... K3 PC Yeah yeah I know I know no K3 for me
