  1. I now kinda want a curse from Ondra that makes your character look like a humanoid with an anglerfish for a head.
  2. Like Pallegina approving of you toppling completely inconspicuous and innocent shrines in the ass-end of nowhere.
  3. That's because Aloth isn't really a guy who's obsessed with duty bur rather someone who is desperately looking for a purpose in life. Having been an empty void for the majority of his life, he jumps from one extreme cause to another to find something big enough to justify his existence, here, now, at all costs (notably, if you tell him to go away after his confession in PoE 1, he commits suicide; also notice how there is very rarely any middle ground with him). Him being very happy when romanced makes sense because this unexpected and unconditional love gives him exactly the source of validation he needs.
  4. So, poor Death Godlikes get twice shafted. Yes, definitely - wanted to say the same thing. I mean, if there is one race that typically gets shafted with vanity choices, it's the godlikes.
  5. I loved using Snakeskin Grimoire just for the coolness factor of having snakes for hands. Made sense for an Ixamitl wizard, too.
  6. I finally played through the new God of War. I did not see the twist coming.
  7. And the reward for doing it is her turning into an angry hobo in Deadfire!
  8. Don't forget the time slowing psi power that's also exclusively in the human skill tree. One point is all you need to turn yourself into an unstoppable death god on demand.
  9. Come to think of it, I've always wanted Pallegina to speak to me in Konstanten's voice.
  10. I just stepped into this thread and I have no idea what's going on. Good job, guys. Wael would be proud.
  11. PETROL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE'RE RUNNING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. YES! It's finally happening! This seems cool, too. Finally some fancy TW2-style mechanics for TW1 factions.
  13. They're predominantly blue, not brown, Skazz. Blue is coastal and pretty much every RDC soldier is coastal. Maia is the notable exception, but everyone at the Brass Citadel is a coastal aumaua, for instance. Oh, huh. I stand corrected. I was under the impression that Hazanui Karu was island, so I double checked after your post, and you're absolutely right: Brass Citadel personnel is coastal. Not sure why I thought they were island, really. My bad!
  14. Rauatai is coastal, Huana are island. Might be the same mechanism that differentiated wild and hearth orlans. But they're not, that's the thing. From what we see in Deadfire, Rauataians seem to be mostly island auamua, too.
  15. Wasn't there only one Bioware game since ME3 and it bombed like hell? Yes, the remake sequel of C&C Generals. EDIT: Sequel! EDIT 2: It apparently got cancelled, too.
  16. Seconded, it's kind of so-okay-it's-average. Soft Winds of Death seems like a more economical damage aura choice this time around, especially for how early you can get it.
  17. ^ I'll accept both answers.
  18. Speaking of which, both the Huana and Rauataian aumaua seem to be like 99% island aumaua, right? With that in mind, how and where the heck did the coastal aumaua come into being? Has that ever been addressed beyond "they're very rare in Dyrwood"?
  19. Seriously, is there any formal way to request a sticky? This chart may seem deceptively simple, but ironically, it cleared up all doubts for my current playthrough.
  20. Congrats!
  21. FO4 had over 2/3 the sales of FO3 and NV combined. And was less than 1/3 as good. And... was... 4/3 as disappointing? Am I doing this right?
