  1. Can we have nice 3D crates? What about puffin-dingos?
  2. The movie was planned as a direct-to-DVD release from day one. Usually a movie goes direct-to-video when a distributer doesn't want to pick it up. That's not the case here. I think whether or not a FFVII sequel will occur might have something to do with sales of the DVD. And since FFXII will focus on a whole new combat system that so far is really unpopular, I think a FFVII sequel going back to the FFVII roots would be pretty popular.
  3. I'm going to have to read this comic now.
  4. It could have been a coincidence. The programmer could be 21, and born in 1982, and thusly programmed Jaberwocky to say that. After all, Jabberwocky said HE was 21, not you.
  5. As the dismembered Maul looked back at his death scene, he was beside himself.
  6. I know Vader was more machine than man. Consider this. The Force is generated by LIVING THINGS. Wouldn't your connection with the Force change when you become half-machine? I think Episode 3 will paint Anakin Skywalker as the most powerful Jedi to ever live. In that case, it's possible Vader did lose some connection to the Force, and was still Vader. Should cybernetic limbs affect the Force?
  7. Resistance is futile. All topics will be assimilated. We like to fly tangental airlines here at the Obsidian forums.
  8. I'll play both Jade Empire and KOTOR:TSL, but I'm more excited about KOTOR:TSL.
  9. Fair enough, but if the planet was colonized, and the moon was ripe with natural resources, why wasn't it colonized as well?
  10. Welcome to the kindler, gentler Chris Avellone. And the Star Wars Rap can be seen here.
  11. I think the overall appearance of the robes is more important that whether or not you can use the hood.
  12. We got Def Star! We got Def Star! We got Def Star! Okay, I'm done. Actually, I'd like to see a Star Wars game where they don't blow any planets up. That gets old.
  13. I was being facetious.
  14. No one suspects the droid, but T3 is behind it all.
  15. I hate Maul's death scene. It make no sense what-so-ever. This dedicated, vigiliant Sith suddenly decides that he doesn't need to pay attention or attempt to defend himself, and also decides not to attack Obi-Wan as he flips through the air. I think it should also be noted that Maul never did anything evil in the movie.
  16. No Tatooine? No Naboo? No Endor?
  17. Since MCA handed out false plot-documents to confuse the staff, FrankK changed the game whenever it suited it. It only seemed fair. Who knows what the final product will look like.
  18. I'd rather have an oral bowel movement than watch Fox News. Is that sound-bitable enough for you? (One of these days I will make Howling's sig with one of my quotes) I was somewhat curious to see this documentary, though I missed it. I figured it was a publicity hoax, but was curious to see if it was good hoax, and what the twist was.
  19. Mallrats still has the best Stan Lee cameo of any movie on the planet.
  20. Maybe I'm crazy, but I think computer architecture should focus more on having multiple processors on board, dedicated to various tasks. All file-access procedures in code could go to a dedicated processor for handling file-storage devices, and processing that flow of data. We have seperate processors on the video-cards.
  21. On my X-Box, I've got saves from several people who have beaten the game over at my house. Final saves on the Star Forge seem to range from 26-30 hours. I'm a completist, and I try to hit everything. I even did the Geohardan quests despite playing LS. I think I hit 30 hours.
  22. There many proposed next-gen formats for SuperDVD. Some use red-lasers, some blue-lasers, and other such sillyness. The question is, which format will the industry shift to?
  23. I know that LucasArts does the score and voice-acting. They may be responsible for packaging, manual, etc as well. Publishers also generally handle localizations as far as I can tell, so they'd be responsible for translations.
  24. AGP hasn't quite reached it's limit, nor are we really using the limits of AGP 8x yet.
