  1. Well you better keep hopping because I don't think you or anyone else is sur yet.
  2. Haven't played TSL, but I thought Revan built HK-47. Was he some sort of mail-order robot kit then?
  3. Do we know exactly what it is though, like is it a bug or something that Kotor does wrong that nothing else does, because my card runs everything else perfectly. I have a hard time understanding how such a general sounding hardware issue only affects one game.
  4. It's like Enterprise is cramming to explain all the stuff they never got around to before they get cancelled. Seems a bit rushed to me, like "Oh look, magic interstellar alliance!" but whatever... The xindi thing was ok i guess, but everything in it is just a little too generic and violent to really feel like star trek, though I'm glad they finally acknowledged that their vulcans weren't like the ones we'd seen before.....
  5. *crash!* *bang* *smoke and sizzling* *assorted expletives*
  6. Probably just put in a random age instead of advertising the fact that she's probably 8 or something.
  7. They did somethine weird with the engine and then blamed it on ATI and somehow finally ATI finally released drivers that do something special for KotOR. It finally works for me now, but my buddy has a laptop and says he has to install special drivers released from the company who made it, and still can't play for more than 5 minutes. Doom 3 and Half Life 2 run fine mind you. I really find it ridiculous that ATI is blamed though at this point. They have been so quick to fix everything else that I think Buggyware must have dropped the ball and ATI had to do something to fix it for them. Excepting that KotOR just won't run on some computers still, it's relatively bug free at this point.
  8. Just to take this to the obvious and inappropriate, the hole in the middle of a cd is pretty small..........
  9. I clicked but it didn't work.............
  10. I also go to gamespy all the time. Anyway, I take it that it's really easy like the x-box version apparently is?
  11. A mom joke, all your base..... Man bokishi, all you need is a cutting satire of Kaiser Wilhelm and you'll be set........
  12. Well I did die pretty quickly, but the big problem was overcoming spell-resistence. I had followed the general level-up guidelines they gave, but even when I used all the spells I could to try to lower the magic immunity, I couldn't actually cause any damage...... That did happen though at the end of HotU too. The only thing that could seriously damage M, aside from acid, was that planar sword spell. Nothing else worked.
  13. Yeah, NWN was a big disappointment. It was just so boring and long. I have no idea how many thousands of 2 xp goblins I killed. Then when I tried as a spellcaster it suddenly got really nasty. Maybe I just did something stupid, but before there was tenser's transformation and stuff, I just couldn't hurt anything that had any spell resistence. Never had the problem since the expansions, but there was nothing my poor sorcerer could do against Klauth that first time. Oh, and Jedi Academy. The single player was pretty generic, but kind of fun. Then the multiplayer browser was broken, I couldn't find any games I could get into, and once the finally fixed it I found that it was just a bunch of spamming and really random hitboxes and damage.
  14. Out of curiosity, how much do you think they got paid for this one: http://xbox.gamespy.com/xbox/mercenaries/5....html?fromint=1 Maybe it's just me, but I find it hard to believe that LA released such a polished game. The review tries to be so glowing, yet it's just saying "you can blow a lot of stuff up". Also, the "nice but not excessive light-bloom" comment was pretty funny, because they were ripping games for less than half what you see in the screenshots there.... Oops, somehow didn't see a thread already started about this game....
  15. It might be worth going to the store, if you still have the receipt, and if you're frustrated and angry enough maybe they'll take it back. It's at least worth a shot, because these jokers don't give a ****.
  16. I recently rented these new DVD's of the first 3, and I have to admit, it was kind of embarassing to watch. The dialog was better than the prequels, and the acting was a better, though sometimes only a little. The gungans and the ewoks are horrible, but it's Anakin who's acting is the worst. You always just want to punch him. The art direction is what has and will make star wars fun.
  17. Time taken is not difficulty, not even remotely. Look at stat-builder.
  18. How does it compare to the way they end HotU?
  19. The ranting does continue to serve a purpose, because people who haven't yet bought the game and come here to check it out will see only the undying love for the game of various fanboys such as jaden, and then they'll think it's great and then your method of game selection will fail hades.
  20. Wow, that just doesn't sound fun at all..... I mean Rebel Assault was criticized for basically being an interactive movie, but at least with its bad controls you had to pay attention. If I just have to click on the enemies, I'm not getting this damn thing no matter how good the story is, since if that's all I'll be getting, I'll finish moby d*i*ck. wow, they censored Melville....
  21. I think that the easiness of the first KotOR was good for marketing and stuff, it just should have had a further setting on the slider. And better more interesting boss battles
  22. You can usually tell from peoples' forum names whether they like the game or not. I personally don't know yet, but for a great number, it seems to be blind allegiance.
