So he came from "a land down under"? I thought he came from Deralia... but then maybe that's in Australia
-
Yeah. But their genes are manipulated too edit: Revan has hit to star with spaceship. That is why Carth never let him fly Ebon Hawk <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ah, so that's what happened to him... He went to find the true Sith, but flew so badly T3 had him ejected into the cold regions of space, where he died like a miserable schwein... (for those of you who've seen "The Hudsucker Procy" )

You forgot the drugs... They had bugs, so what? What game doesn't?

Could Revan have slewn everyone on the Death Star?
Jediphile replied to DAWUSS's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
No the black knight of SW is Anakin with his legs and arm chopped off and all----and still chafing Obi Wan. Revan would be more like Lancelot slashing through the wedding---sorry the Star Forge. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "Excuse me, could someone give me a push please..." -
Could Revan have slewn everyone on the Death Star?
Jediphile replied to DAWUSS's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Rule #24. I will maintain a realistic assessment of my strengths and weaknesses. Even though this takes some of the fun out of the job, at least I will never utter the line ``No, this cannot be! I AM INVINCIBLE!!!'' (After that, death is usually instantaneous.) from Guide to Being an Evil Overlord -
You mean the hit and run tactic doesn't work? That would surprise me. Kreia is a walk-over, as long you don't let her dictate the conditions under which the battle will be fought. At least, it was always like that for me.
-
I like them both, but if I could pick two masters, I think it would Zez-Kai Ell and Lonna Vash with Kavar only in third position. What I would tell Vrook and Atris to go do with themselves is not suitable for this board
-
True. It does rather kill the mood when all the heroes are captured by a bunch of teddy bears who then worship C-3PO as a god and want to eat Han as a celebration of their new god... They should have let it all take place on Kashyyyk among the wookiees, as I gather it was originally planned. That would have been awesome.

If all else fails, seek the better part of valor... In short: Run and hide. The floating sabers will only follow you so far and then lose track of you. Run to alcoves and hide as fast as you can. Not because you're a weakling, but because there is treasure there, naturally And while there, you might as well heal your wounds and then buff up on force powers again. Then slowly move toward ONE of the floating sabers. When it detects you, back up a bit and let it come close, then beat the crap out of it. It should fall without too much trouble. It did for me, and I was a sentinel/jedi master... The repeat the process for the other two sabers, one by one. Once they're gone, approach Kreia and attack her however you like - without the sabers, she's not going to put up much of a fight either way. She may have a ton of vitality points, but since she doesn't offer much resistance, it hardly matters, and if you choose to retreat, she will not follow you in any event. Hit and run for a while, and she'll soon go down. Easy when you know how.

Quite. Necroposting detected - setting weapon systems to kill...

Hehe... There has been an awful lot speculation. I was probably a main instigator of that myself. Take a look at the topic here if you're brave enough...

Most powerful Jedi.

Erm, he was a Sith according to Kreia. Ever wondered why the game is subtitled "The Sith Lords"? Ever wondered what the masters were referring to when they said the Sith hunted them down and destroyed the world of Katarr? -
Agreed. Actually I think Lucas did it this way intentionally. It would seem very odd, if the space battles of the prequels featured more advanced starfighter battles than in the original trilogy, which takes place later chronologically. That said, the space battles in the Clone Wars cartoons are pretty awesome. Erm... Not sure how to break it to you, but the KotOR games take place more than 1000 years after the Hyperspace War... So this really isn't a problem. Yup. Yes, but for good reasons. The prequels have the jedi in their prime, so naturally they're going to be more potent in lightsaber duels that an old, aging man, a human/machine cyborg cross, and a young pup of a man, who hasn't learned the skills right yet. Tsk... Don't know why people always say so. Ep. I was not so hot, no, but I liked Ep. II and III. Their biggest problem was that you knew in advance what conclusion they would have to build to, but that is not a fair point of criticsim to make to PREQUEL.

What you mean Vash Dude, she is quite dead by the time you find her on Korriban. Yes, she was *supposed* to not be dead and Korriban should lead to clues that would let you find her on M4-78, but all that was cut from the game (though the M4-78 project is working to restore that). Oh, and Kaah wasn't her "partner" but her apprentice, who turned DS when he thought she had died.

Yes, but that does not make the jedi masters, which is the topic here. He felt regret, not guilt. His disappointment were not with the students who left to join Revan, but the council which did not examine the reasons that pointed to their own flaws. Zez-Kai Ell: "I, too, lost a Padawan on Malachor. Not to the battle, but to the alternative - to the teachings that Revan brought from the Unknown Regions. {Quiet}And I was not the only Jedi Master to watch a student turn on them. No, no - they were not to blame, but many of the Order did so - it was a difficult time, a time of strong emotion.Perhaps the Council, perhaps the Order itself had grown arrogant in their teachings. It is easy to cast blame, but it is perhaps time the Order accepted responsibility for their teachings, and their arrogance, and come to recognize that perhaps we are flawed. Not once did I hear one of the Council claim responsibility for Revan, for Exar Kun, for Ulic, for Malak... or for you. Yet... you were the only one who came back from the wars to face our judgment. And rather than attempting to understand why you did what you did, we punished you instead.{Frustrated}Our one chance to see where we had gone wrong, and we cast it aside. And now, that decision has come back to us, and may carry with it, our destruction. Perhaps there is something wrong in us, in our teachings. And though I tried, I could not cause that thought to leave me - so I left the Council. And I was not the only one. That is why many scattered... and why many in the Republic do not trust us. And why we do not trust ourselves. Make no mistake - I am no Jedi. This is the end you see. After this, there will be nothing.{Quietly}And I think it will be for the best. Do you wish to do battle now? I have nothing more to say. It provides no comfort at all, for reasons on which I still must keep secret.Suffice to say redemption was not Revan's choice, and I have never believed those of the Council who attempt to console themselves otherwise for the crime they committed."

I was a complete LS'er, but I still used a combination of Force Wave and Force Storm at the Trayus Academy. Walk into room - throw everyone to the floor with Force Wave - fry them Force Storm - repeat as necessary  Of course, Force Speed is an absolute must. Didn't like the DS special power so much. I mean, meet Sion - push Force Crush 10 times - talk to Sion - push Force Crush 10 times - talk to Sion - push Force Crush 10 times - talk to Sion... - you get the picture. BOOOOORING!!!

I've seen Monty Python's "Life of Brian" too

I'm not Revan, I'm Revan! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "I'm Revan, and my wife's Revan too"

These areas and others should thankfully be accessible once the cut content is restored by the Restorantion Project. -
Unexplorable Areas on Telos and Nar Shaddaa
Jediphile replied to Kelvhan Amaratharr's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Did I say it was? I was just commenting on the general state of the industry. But obviously great games do come out now and then. I don't know if Oblivion is one of them, since I haven't played it, but it sounds like it is. -
Not sure I get your point here. It sounds like you're suggesting Revan met Exar Kun, which I doubt - The Great Sith War, which ended with Exar Kun "lost" ended more than thirty years before the Mandalorian Wars began, and Revan doesn't seem that old to me.
-
IIRC, Juhani asked to join Revan's group, and the council granted her request.
-
Yes, you are...

You just have to build a lot of influence with him, then the option will turn up all by itself. Talking to him won't do it, though, since Bao-Dur seems to respond only to LS choices you make, which means he must be in the group to witness them. Check the influence guide at gameFAQs.com or similar if you don't know where to increase influence with him.
