Go for it when the new 9800GT's come out at the end of next month That way you can get one of these or a dirt cheap 8800GT. As of now theres Mobos with 1600FSB support for future cpus coming out. Theres PCI-E 2.0 support for the newest mobos too that give double the bandwidth and double the power to the graphic cards. Make sure to get a strong PSU with the 8pin PCI-e Power connectors. Also a adequate case, I don't know how many times I've seen or heard of giant cards not fitting in a medium size case due to the harddrive cage. If you get a motherboard with DDR2 Support (they have mobos that support DDR2 and 3) you can save a lot of money by getting DDR2! Goodluck!

Ditto. Also Nvidia chipsets are fine after a few BIOS revisions and since this is basically a rehashed 680i it should be strong so i wouldn't worry about that either. What i would worry about is the heat issues by the look of the heatsinks on the mobo. I would Keep a well ventilated clean case. If your not going to EVER run SLI then Id get this one. Asus P5E LGA 775 Intel X38 It has 1600FSB compatibility for new Core2duo/quads coming out in the future. PCI-E2.0, runs cooler. but the 780i has all of these main features too. ASUS Asus P5N-T Deluxe 780i Mobo Running for $259. Might be better then the stock 780i.

Wallstreet is out of control, its screwing up our economy. It was a nice try to keep it completely privatized but I believe its time to step in and have some sort of oversight. How would you sggest to fix it, or do you think Wallstreet is fine?

I already voted (casted my pretend vote because the Michigan democratic delegates left). I Wanted Kucinich. As for who would i want now, between Obama and Clinton... They are so similar I can't seem to choose. It comes down to whats more important. Obama wants to get out of Iraq faster, then he would have more time to fix the economy with more of the budget not being drained. He also wants to create a tally on the web of where each government dollar is going. Hillary's Univeral healthcare i feel is more progressive in requiring everyone to have healthcare(albeit she still includes the greedy insurance agency just like Obama). She doesn't want to get out of Iraq until the end of her first term making this healthcare idea a fantasy until then i think. If Mccain chooses ****abee for his running mate I'm going to **** a brick, it might be a smart move to consolidate evangelical voters since hes not strong there. Im not a fan of Mccain but I do feel he is "better" then the rest. As for ****abee i feel that he is a bigot with his comments on people with aids, gay, environmentalists. The guy doesn't even know what the separation of church and state means i think. The economy is a big deal, and i haven't seen anything Specific yet, only general policy ideas. "fixing" NAFTA. You can always upgrade later when the stuff is lower priced. I just make sure my motherboard is upgradeable. what to look for when buying a motherboard now is PCI-E 2.0 1600FSB compatible. The X38 and the X48 have them. I believe their compatible with Nehalem.

well the 9800 GX2 should come out late february. I wouldn't touch it though. Id wait for the 9800GT that should come out in March.

i don't see that going away much. Theres nothing bright and colorful about a post apocalyptic world. So i see why artistically they would keep dull colors. Im just glad its not gimps and zombies from hell in a space port.
