  1. Says the guy who's hanging out on a Star Wars video game message board.
  2. Okay, so now there are five of us in this thread alone who have confessed to liking "Evolution". Funny how nobody I know outside of this thread likes it. Maybe it's a geek thing.
  3. You're kidding, right? Please say you're kidding and I totally missed the sarcasm. He's ELEVEN. At that age I thought I was in love with Kirk Cameron. (Yes, I realize I'm really dating myself by making that statement.)
  4. That's okay, a lot of people do (including me). In fact, I think I've only ever encountered two people who didn't.
  5. Movies I like that everybody else hates: Monkeybone Evolution Movies I hate that everybody else likes: A Clockwork Orange Apocalypse Now Reservoir Dogs
  6. Oh. Yes. Absolutely. I can see it now: Malak: You cannot hide from what you once were, Revan! Recognize that you were once the Dark Lord -- and know that I have taken your place. Revan: Whoa.
  7. Its not a game, its a porn site on dial-up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, that would explain it.
  8. Not necessarily. It could be they perceive him as being "husband material", as opposed to "one-night stand material" (a.k.a. Atton).
  9. Actually, more because Surreptishus has been saying that for the past six months.
  10. How did I know you were gonna say that?
  11. Holy necroposting. I apparently already voted in this poll. Interesting. I don't recall what my vote was.
  12. My bf gave me diamond earrings. Yeah, I was pretty shocked.
  13. I'm in the midst of reading Stephen King's "On Writing". It's part memoir, part advice to aspiring authors. Anybody who fancies himself a writer should read this book.
  14. REM - Imitation of Life Charades, pop skill Water hyacinth, named by a poet Imitation of life. Like a koi in a frozen pond. Like a goldfish in a bowl. I don't want to hear you cry. Thats sugarcane that tasted good. Thats cinnamon, thats Hollywood. C'mon, c'mon no one can see you try. You want the greatest thing The greatest thing since bread came sliced. You've got it all, you've got it sized. Like a Friday fashion show teenager Freezing in the corner Trying to look like you don't try. Thats sugarcane that tasted good. Thats cinnamon, thats Hollywood. C'mon, c'mon no one can see you try. No one can see you cry. That sugar cane that tasted good. That freezing rain, that's what you could. C'mon, c'mon on no one can see you cry. This sugarcane This lemonade This hurricane, I'm not afraid. C'mon, c'mon no one can see you cry. This lightning storm This tidal wave This avalanche, I'm not afraid. C'mon, c'mon no one can see me cry. That sugar cane that tasted good. That's who you are, that's what you could. C'mon, c'mon on no one can see you cry. That sugar cane that tasted good. That's who you are, that's what you could. C'mon, c'mon on no one can see you cry. What is this song about? I'm not entirely sure. Why do I like the lyrics? I'm not entirely sure. But I still do.
  15. Never got that far in my male PC game, but I'm pretty sure it's got to do with influence.
  16. Wait a minute... is this guy saying that some people actually like TLC? Man! For years I blissfully hoped that the only reason they were on the charts was because of payola.
  17. indeed. Gawd. There was a reason they weren't recording any more music, wasn't there? Like maybe the fact that nobody listened to them? (Other than the three fans coming out of the woodwork, that is.) Well, I guess it could be worse. Could be Right Said Fred or Rick Astley making a comeback.
  18. Funny, that's exactly what I thought of when I saw the thread subject. Geek minds think alike.
  19. That's pretty much what I was thinking. Something about not looking a gift ronto in the mouth.
  20. Carth. Atton. (Shocker, I know.) I dunno, most of the other back stories kind of left me cold.
  21. You probably also gained influence with him when he first rejoined your party on the Telos Academy. As for the Dantooine stuff, I also did that, but that was never enough to turn him into a Jedi. More influence was needed.
  22. Best way to do this is to either get an influence guide, and/or to walk around with him at all times. You can't gain influence with him just through talking, and if I'm not mistaken, you have to gain influence with him five times before he'll agree to switch. (You will discover that you have enough influence when another conversation option pops up when you talk to him.) And yes, it's pretty difficult to do unless you're light side. But then, much like with the Handmaiden, it can be done... You might have to bite the bullet and do a few light side things, though. (Or, alternately, you can apparently lose ALL influence with him and he'll turn as well... however, he'll be opposite you on the light side/dark side scale. I've never tried it myself, but that's what I'm told.) I can think of two spots where you can gain influence with him without doing anything light or dark side, but the rest I do believe are all through light side acts.
  23. Make sure that when you do change the files from .wav to .mp3, it's on COPIES of the original and not on the originals themselves, otherwise you might be pretty disappointed next time you want to play the game. If you want the mp3s to be compatible with players other than Winamp, get the dBpowerAMP Music Converter (this file here), and simply re-convert all the mp3s into mp3s again. Doing this will stabilize the fluctuating bitrates, and you will be able to play them on Windows Media Player and the likes after.
