  1. 1) I dunno, I like Squibs, and I was getting tired of seeing Lilah all the time. My apologies, I didn't realise it was that important. I'll change it back if it means that much to you. 2) I think what happens with me is I always went to deal with the Red Eclipse before attracting enough attention from the Exchange. So I would leave the Ebon Hawk, and only get the message from Visquis after doing some more running around in an effort to attract attention.
  2. That's not true... I've never once had that happen any of the times I played. In fact, I think I pretty much always get that message as I step out of the Refugee Sector into the main area. You just have to make sure the Exchange has heard about you enough (annoy and/or impress enough people). There's your trigger.
  3. That would be the more logical step... but I guess there are still some people out there who feel that if they don't vote Liberal or Conservative, they're just throwing their vote away.
  4. My favourite SW species has to be the Squib. Squibs are so wonderfully curious and annoying, yet so cute.
  5. I agree. Personally I find that Atton in Dark Jedi robes and with a double bladed lightsaber looks really cool. But that's, of course, me.
  6. What's with this "what if" crap? Han shot first, end of story. Before I read the Han Solo trilogy, I'd have said Atton, hands down... now I don't know... I like both for different reasons.
  7. So, if you don't like Atton, just don't use him. I don't see why you'd have to kill him just because you hate him. I hate Visas, but you don't see me trying to kill her...
  8. The hell? I wasn't aware of that. But then again, I never brought Mandalore with me on Onderon for that part. All right... let me put it this way: that's the only time I'm aware of this happening. Any other influence spot that was supposed to increase influence with more than one character only increased it for one randomly selected party member.
  9. Yes, we all speak that way. We also live in igloos and ride dogsleds to work downtown Toronto. *breaks into song* Oh, I'm a lumberjack and I'm okaaaayyyy... I sleep all night and I work all daaaaayyy...
  10. I also agree with GoA. It makes a lot more sense this way. Besides, if you want to travel quickly around Nar Shaddaa, all you have to do is fix the speeder.
  11. Strange, I could've sworn the Axl Rose riot was in Montreal. Oh well. Shows how much attention I paid to the news back then...
  12. What the... Well, this is strange... I just happened to load up the game about two days ago to check something, and I decided to check to see if there was an update, and I got a message saying that there was no new patch... and here I am learning it's been out for like a month. Curiouser and curiouser.
  13. Yeah, I had a similar glitch one of the times I played through KOTOR 1, where Carth and Jolee just stopped following me, and there was nothing I could do to change it. The only thing that did change it was load a previous game (meaning I had to redo all that other stuff I had done since).
  14. Hi! I suppose it was to be expected that I would post in a thread that had the word "Atton" worked into the title.
  15. Is it just me, or do they never actually expressedly say that Vandar has died? Sure, it's assumed that he died in the destruction of the Dantooine Jedi enclave, but in KOTOR 2, Vrook (I think it was Vrook, anyway) only mentions Zhar and Dorak dying during that time. Personally, I like to think that Vandar managed to escape, survived, and is hiding a la Yoda, waiting for the right time to return... because he was the only really nice once.
  16. You can also disable those droids ahead of time before you start the reactor by using that computer panel next to the stuck door.
  17. It's not a trigger, it's just one more place you can gain influence with him. Turning Bao-Dur to a Jedi is strictly influence-based. You have to gain influence with him five times, if I'm not mistaken. At that point you will automatically get the conversation option to turn him into a Jedi. The problem with him is you can't just get influence via conversation, so you have to have him in your party. The main places where you can gain influence (other than your conversation with him on Telos when he gets out of his cell and apologizes) are Nar Shaddaa, Dxun/Onderon and Dantooine. Bear in mind that some of those influence "spots" also work for other party members. Meaning, for instance, if you show compassion to the Sullustan droid merchant in Khoonda (Dantooine), and you have both Bao-Dur and Atton in your party, the influence could go to one or the other (it's completely random).
  18. Jeez, you go away for a couple months, and everybody makes a big deal when you come back.
  19. Nice! Very nice! I wish I could draw... but I figured if I haven't learned how to draw by my age, it'll never happen. So I won't even try and let the people with actual talent draw for me.
