  1. I most certainly am not. I hate everything Star Wars and KOTOR was the worst game ever.
  2. The EU is contradicted by the newer movies. Why shouldn't KOTOR do the same? Even if it had some reason not to, most of the "contradictions" I've heard about have to do with the appearance of the ships/technology involved, rather than their function.
  3. I don't think newcomers would really care that much about a few cameos. It certainly wouldn't dissuade them from buying the game.
  4. I usually used a single lightsaber. The other styles seem a little fanboyish. Besides, it's a single player game. What difference does it make if a single saber is at a disadvantage to a double blade or two sabers? It's not like you have other players to compete with.
  5. Personality wise, it's between Bastila and Mission. There's no way to tell about the K2 characters yet. I'll just pick Bastila because she had more dialogue and significance to the plot. As far as looks go, I might have to go with Bastila again, but Mira (based on the concept art, I hear the in-game model is kind of ugly) or the younger white haired Jedi that everyone refers to as "Atris" might be contenders.
  6. I don't think Tatooine is overrated. Everyone thinks it sucks! Even the Star Wars characters think it sucks! How could it be overrated if everyone hates it? To answer the other question: Yes, it's used too much. If it doesn't show up in KOTOR2, I wouldn't miss it.
  7. I like green. That's what I used on my character in KOTOR most of the times I played it. My first run through K2, I'll probably use something different, just to make the K2 character different.
  8. No, I'm not buying an X-box. I'll just wait 'til February. The graphics are better on the PC version anyway, plus we get mods and cheats (for when we finish of course). Also, with the exception of Halo 2, the X-box doesn't have any halfway decent looking games that the PC doesn't. What's more, the X-box controls are damn clumbsy, and lastly, the things are too expensive.
  9. At the very least, I'd like to know what happened/is happening to them just out of curiosity. Some of the characters I did actually like, and do care a little about them.
  10. We get compensated with better graphics, better resolution, and a lower price. Withing a few weeks, months at most after release we get mods as well. Not to mention neat console commands (cheats if you prefer). Don't envy the X-boxers too much.
  11. I doubt that Revan will actually appear. Variables like Revan's gender, face, and Force alignment are really the least of the problems. Everyone attaches a different personality to Revan, and it would be imossible to satisfy them all. Unless of course they want to just say "this is who Revan is, and your choices in the first game didn't matter" but they already said that they weren't going to do this.
  12. It'd be a challenge, definetely, but I'd bet heavily that there will be another follow up to KOTOR. Even if K2 sucks (I doubt it, but it's possible) they'll keeping milking the first KOTOR until it runs dry.
  13. Well, first of all, there's this little thing I like to call "continuity". If they wanted to give the player character a bigger ship in KOTOR 2, they should have made a new one rather than screw with the Hawks size. Second of all, it's probably the camera angle that's making the ship look bigger than it is.
  14. New story. If new characters had been included as an option, it might've been close. Mira's better looking.
  15. Sure there's been a female Sith Lord. Her name was Revan. Even if there were no female Sith Lords before or after her, Revan doesn't seem like the type that would get overly concerned about that.
  16. http://www.lucasarts.com/games/swkotor_sit...ncept_art/4.jpg Unnamed white haired woman. http://images.google.com/images?q=tbn:3gA8...fr/kotor/kotor/ Bastila Clearly, they look nothing alike.
  17. Well, the player character in KOTOR 2 did know Revan. He/she must have if he/she served in the Mandalorian wars. As I recall, Revan was the leader of all the Jedi in that war. Maybe early on, someone will come up to you with a Jedi Academy Class of 2003 Yearbook and ask you to point out Revan.
  18. Seems to me that using the Force is a skill like any other. Without constant practice, the skill will deteriorate.
  19. You were glad the game was short ?!? What ?!? o_O No, genius. I'm glad that they didn't make it longer by forcing you to run around aimlessly for an hour like so many RPGs and MMORPGs do. Dantooine and Kashyyyk were tedious enough in that regard.
  20. Well, I'm personally kinda glad that I didn't have to spend half an hour running through 200 areas in order to find the star maps in the first game.
  21. Huh. I'd have pegged Mira for the a rogue, Mission-esque, scoundrel type. She looks a bit young to be a bounty hunter. Oh well. I guess I can buy that. This part is kind of odd though: If she has pacifistic tendencies, she's probably in the wrong line of work.
  22. That's one of the most nonsensical things I've ever read here. Why would Revan have gone off looking for some random thing he heard about that has nothing to do with him/her, is totally irrelavent to anything going on in his/her life, may not even exist, and if it was, was last seen years ago leaving the galaxy?
  23. Hardly. Voyager and Enterprise aren't superior shows to anything.
