  1. Reworked Ability Trees. Unique Passives that fits the theme of any given Class // Subclass.
  2. Announcement Tomorrow : https://twitter.com/Obsidian/status/982363083560628224 Wonder what it's gonna be, advanced release date ?
  3. Yep, but they'll do things everyday. Sunday there's a Session with : Aarik Dorobiala. [Obsidian's CM] Katie Postma. [stoïc's CM] Where they'll talk about the Community, [You, Me, Everyone as a whole, etc]. Should be pretty interesting too. Edit : Also worth noting, you can watch the Stream on Obsidian's Twitch Channel too. If your Internet Connection can't keep up at 720p, [Versus Evil Stream is only available at this resolution]. Then head over Obsidian's Stream, that has lower Resolutions available.
  4. Stream - Versus Evil @PAXEast : https://www.twitch.tv/versusevil For those interested, everyday at 12:00 pm EDT. [Around 18:00 pm in Europe]
  5. What did the delay allowed you to do, that you would have struggled to accomplish without it ? Can you quickly elaborate, & present us the sort of things you've been able to add/polish ? Was it centered around mechanics ? Optimization ? Paintings/Drawings Enhancements, that kind of stuff ? [i'd presume all] PS : For exemple, I noticed you took the time to enhance the world map's "Town/City" drawings, throughout various Beta Builds. From Neketaka being Black & White, Tikawara was just a simple hut, now a nice looking Village. That's Cool Can you talk a little bit about that ? Thank you EDIT : Typos & Very Bad English
  6. As stated by Josh, gotta take into account that we're really, like really-really undergeared. But I do want a Dev video's proof that they actually beat this fight, as geared as we are. The Titan in itself is fine, it's the dozen [8] of Sand Blights that are over the top.
  7. Quote : Basically yes, what I meant is that for a Shifter, it's not hard to guess that a Bear, who's supposed to tank (generally speaking), could benefit from warrior's "Constant Recovery" passive, or a minor version of it. Similar to Pillars one, where Eder/Whoever can get a minor version of Durance's Priest AOE. A Cat could benefit from Roguish Passives, a Stagg could benefit from Carnage, etc. These are just exemple, & obviously, always at the cost of one Ability point. Does Claws // Tusks // Horns // Etc, are affected by this ? Because I don't think so. Like, these are not proper "Weapons" but rather their own thing, I think. But if it does then, shouldn't they benefit from one type of Modals too ? Like the new Unarmed Modal.
  8. Neither did it worked for me aswell, unfortunately... If a quick Hotfix is possible in the days to come, though... don't hesitate. That'd be highly appreciated Edit : Maybe, a way to edit somekind of a "config.xx" file, to force the wanted resolution through text ?
  9. Here us out Gentle Devs, & Please, Rework the Spiritshifter Subclass : [Past Launch // Expansion] You heard us by adding more Passive choices to every Classes, so thank you for that. But for Shifters... looks like you've picked random ones, without really thinking about it. This // that, & put it here // there. Let me developp... Within the round of their new additionnal Passives, Shifters got, [as an exemple] : Single Handed // Two Handed // Dual Wielding // More Sets of Weapons... Which Shifter out there, is going to pick one of these, when they're using Claws /Tusks / Horns & Teeth as "Weapons" ? [Or tell me which one would you choose ? Dual Teeth Wielding, Two Handed Horn or Single Handed Tusk... Which Category applies here ?] Shifters are going to be in their Shifted Forms most of the time OR cast Magic Spells, therefore these passives are useless. I & some others, have been calling for it some time ago. But Shifter is a Unique Subclass by nature, so it does need a truely unique & appropriate treatment. You can't say, let's make a Shifter Subclass, give it all the Forms at Lvl 1, shove randoms passives & stuff in it, [that doesn't make any sense with the theme & core nature of the Class btw] The least that can be done at the moment, is too actually give it passives that makes somekind of sense, & match the core nature of the Class. It's not right now. https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/95087-single-class-druid-shifter-subclass/ Everything in this topic isn't 100% absolute truth, or "we're right, it's undeniable". But it's nonetheless true, that this Class needs to be worked around. It's unique at its core, its uniqueness is even defined in its name. it's not a Caster Druid, it's a Beast. It deserves proper treatment, as suggested in the link. [Jerek's suggestion is still valid to this day, imo]
  10. But what about Classes that get a full line of passive choices, that doesn't make any sense with their Class ? I.E - Spiritshifters, who gets : Single Handed // Two Handed // Dual Wielding // More Sets of Weapons... Tell me which Shifter out there is going to pick one of these when they're using Claws /Tusks / Horns & Teeth as "Weapons" ? Shifters are going to be in their Shifted Form most of the time OR cast Magic Spells, these passives are effing useless. Edit : I didn't call for Unique Passives, but now I do. Or at least, a bunch of basic passives that actually make somekind of sense lol.
  11. It all comes back to what has been said before :
  12. So they added more Passives to the Shifter Subclass. That's good but : Who thought it'd be a good idea to add the passives that make the least sense possible ? I want names ! Single Handed // Two Handed // Dual Wielding // More Sets of Weapons // Etc... Really ? We're talking about Shifters You know : Bear & Cat's Claws // Boar's Tusks // Stagg's Horns // Wolf's Teeth... Which Category does these fits ? None of these make sense given what's being used by a Shifter ! These Characters will be Shifted most of the time OR Cast Spells ! [Which, I already said, doesn't fit the theme] None will ever use Weapons for god's sake. What are these passives even doing here ? Who will ever pick one of those passives ? Give Shifters some Fighters / Monks usefull Passives already ! Or at least, anything that make little sense. Disclaimer : Let me mention it again. Access to 5 Forms isn't good. Pick One // Two Form. Make it a Modal, Toggle On/Off. Evolve each Forms as you level up : Claws/Horns/Tusks/Etc // Penetration // Skin Armor Rating // Fighter's Recovery for Bear Form, for exemple // Etc... These kind of Passives, make more sense than what they currenlty have. If I pick One starter form on Lvl 1, let me Expand the Numbar of forms I can pick as I Level Up. [Even though I wouldn't, I'd rather stick to one] Get rid of that OP Healing between Form Switchings, for obvious reasons if you make Spiritshift a Modal Stance. That heal was already strong, now has a Passive Option that makes it even stronger. EDIT : Typos.
  13. Yep can't agree more atm...
  14. Black & White, to contrast from the colorful game & keep the Scripted Interaction identity.
  15. Justin Bell's Music baby ! Can't wait, his twitter teaser made me drool over.
  16. Viconia, maybe the best definition of what a Sidekick is, as opposed to a full companion. [Although she had Romance, but no Personal Quests like full companions] I'm sure Sidekicks will be in the same vein as she was, not fully fletched out, but cool characters nontheless. I loved her. Ydwin might be the Viconia of Pillars.
  17. It's like there's a "Pale Veil", [Don't know how to say it], applied over every Hair Styles now. They used to look uniform & ok but now something is added on top of them, by who knows what. There are weird Shadow Glitches, [Minor], on the Small Mohawk version : It's like Hair had been removed from the head to create the Mohawk, but Shadows from the "removed" hair, was still there. Dunno, it's weird. [Have to rotate the Character to see it]
  18. Yup, I know it exists. Didn't bother buying one yet, but might seriously consider it.
  19. You guys... xD Honestly, having a keyboard sitting on your legs for a Multi-Hour Gameplay Session, & the palm of your hand applying pressure : It does f**king hurt on the long run ! That bad, that I actually have to put it aside. EDIT : Seriously, I'm not even kidding. It's happening right now as I'm typing !
  20. That's kinda of a problem... I didn't notice it, did it led to break you Fighter Engagement ? Like, you know, your Fighter got pushed so far from the target he engaged that it broke the Engagement ?
  21. Yeah I do, but you gotta take this in context. Sometimes I just lay on my bed & play chill, only with the mouse. [No keyboard on my legs or whatever] That's when this current Central Button comes to not being handy. The original or previous beta build design would solve it. Or simply make this one bigger. [There's enough free space for that] Yeah Sliders are a bit tricky, I think it's also because it's too small & not easy to use.
  22. [FIRST ROUND OF FEEDBACK] Feel free to Share your Goodies & Baddies. The Good : Might // Resolve coming back 2 Pts when reaching new Power Lvl for Single Class characters Speed Sliders // Overall Pace of Combat improvement // Casting Times. Ship Combat per Turns instead of per Rounds feels better to me. UI Improvements [Empowering, Uncheck Inventory Items, Etc, looks prettier] More Passives ! [Overall but Specially for Spiritshift Subclass who needed this the most for me] Optimization : The Game's loadings were already Quick. It now loads even quicker, & goes back to the main screen quicker aswell for me. Exit to Windows is welcome aswell ! The Bad : I'm still uncomfortable with that Source Pool thing... The whole thing. I think I kinda hate it. I hope some Gear helps to increase that pool... Because as a Rogue : Gouging Strike + Smoke Veil & you're done, unless you Empower. I don't know I'd like kind of a Mix, between the former "Set of use", like : You got 2 Gouging Stikes per Encounter, 1 Strike the Bell, 3 Venimous Strikes. & Then, you could "Recharge this Set of Use" when you Empower yourself. But I don't know, I have to wrap my head around that. WARNING : I don't really like the new Central Button. I liked it when the whole "Ring" was clickable to Pause // Unpause, now the pause button is really tiny & not handy. Plus the Out of Combat Fast / Slow Triggers, were better on the outside of the ring, rather that inside as it is now. Combat Slider is fine. About New Passives : Still think its good, but I expected them to be more "Thought Out". Like for Spiritshifters : Who thought it'd be a good idea to put the Single Handed // Two Handed // Dual Wielding // More Sets of Weapons Passives ??? For a Shifter ? Come on, no one will ever pick that ! Give it some Fighters / Monks Passives already ! It's a Shifter ! It uses his Claws / Horns / Whatever, none of these Passives fits what a Shifter really uses ! Sounds like "Let's add more Passives to Spiritshifters, but pick the ones that make the least sense..." Even though I don't like some things // changes between POE I & II, I do think it's going into the right direction. As for that the whole "Source" Concept, I think I'm gonna need to learn how to enjoy it in context, from Level One, into the Real / Entire Game. Right now I can't do it... I just f**king hate it, like... to the bones. EDIT : I have a 21:9 aspect ratio, previous beta builds used to have my resolutions. But now, they're just not here anymore ? Everything is stretched & look s ugly, quite unplayable in these conditions. Just a Bug I guess.
