  1. Which is exacly what Citzal & Llengrath's Magic Spells do. Citzal : Offensive Might. Llengrath : Defensive Might. And all of this, is Pure Magic. [Anyways, I expect a : "What if my Mage doesn't know any Citzal & Llegrath Spells ?" xD]
  2. Tell yourself that your Mage "Channels Powerful Magic, [Hint : Citzal or Llengrath], in his Bare Hands to Lift a guy, threatening to Crush his skull with his Spiritual Might". & you're good to go. EDIT : , Am I ?
  3. It don't think so, but give it a try here : http://eternity.obsidian.net/backer/pledges Very doubtful though, you're gonna have to pre-order. [or wait]
  4. I play PoTD and never/very rarely max Might scores. Amazingly I still get through all fights. How is this even possible? Is this even a question ? "Muscle Wizards" is an invention, by people who couldn't read a Text-Based Description.
  5. And being able to drive it down to three wasn't useful to you? I am really not seeing the complaint Being "useful" doesn't mean "fun" or "good game design". & so ? Might was bad design because you used to dump down Resolve on your Mages ? EDIT : Nevermind, good news dropped.
  6. It actually sounds kinda cool, except I would probably give Per Rest to Priest & Per Encounter to Mages. So that Healing would be trickier to manage over many Fights.
  7. Spell Economy & Ressource Management, was the depth that completely disappeared here. Everything is infinite now. [Even if you'd found a box with 20 Resting Candybars in it, you couldnt take them, cause you were only able possess two on Highest Difficulty] Highest Difficulty now ? Infinite Restings & Spells.
  8. 99% of the Players probably didn't play on Story Mode // Relaxed, where you could have x99 Camping Supplies. Others had to manage their ressources with Two Camping Supplies only on PoTD. Rest-Spamming... lol Now it's Deadfire that has, indeed, turned into a Rest Spamming Festival. Since there are no Ressources to manage anymore, & on top of that, regarding the Difficulty. Great Improvement ! [Get yourself two stacks of x99 Hardtacks & you're good for an entire Playthrough, on any difficulty ! xD]
  9. The Game's getting casualized. Something is crossing my mind... Assuming there's little to no-chance a Casual Player will go for Veteran or Path Of The Damned Difficulties anyway. & that their plan was to make the Game more accessible for "Casual" players : Who will probably end up playing on Story Mode // Relaxed. [Normal was fairly hard, for someone discovering the Genre] Well good job, that's a success... Deadfire System is awesome for them. No Struggle, everything is fine. Your Character is Injured ? Don't worry man, just buy 10 Stacks of x99 Hardtack & you're good to go ! But for those who want the real deal, on Veteran & PoTD, those are now stuck with that sh*tty "Infinite Everything Everytime" system. There's no "Ressources Management" anymore : Per-Rest Spells. Limited Camping Supplies. Health/Endurance. [Now : Full Life every f**king Fight ! Yey ! *Clapping*] Etc. No Ressource Management : That, is an actual Dumb Down. It's all there : https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/96152-vancian-caster-discussion/?p=1979276
  10. Of course, having 99 Camping Supplies, [When playing on Lower Difficulties], it could be a Rest Spam. But not so much when you could bring only two. Currently : Running out of Spells ? Well, nope. Never happens, it's an infinite Spamfest now. Running out of Empowering Points ? Neither, you can Rest Spam, because there's no Camping Supplies. No Limitations, regarding the Difficulties ! Is it better now ? I think not. It's even worse. I hate the New System.
  11. Non-Exhaustive List of what they've done : They cut half the spells from the first game. They cut the Grimoire Custumization. Two Spells per Lvl, previously Four. Spells that remain are made all Per-Encounter. [spamfest each Fight] Etc... [Goes on & on] But it's apparentely all considered an Improvement. ... . EDIT : It's a whole New Combat System, compared to what it was in the 1st Pillars. & I can deal with it... But I don't like it, at all. [i prefer Pillars of Eternity "Global Combat System" a Thousand Times more than Deadfire's]
  12. Ok, nevermind, I'll just try to work around the advices you gave me, might do the job. Many Thanks to you !
  13. Hmm, well maybe there is your problem. I use good old Photoshop and Poster Edges filter. But Photoshop is like 30 days trial right ? Then you're done unless you buy it ?
  14. Oh ok, I'll give a try on how to actually do the Layer thing. [i mean, "Practically" speaking] As for the filter, [not sure of the proper English word for it], but it should be something like "Comic // Strip Cartoon". [Google Image : "Bande Dessinée". You'll probably see what it means] I use Photofiltre 7 by the way.
  15. Maybe something like this? Definitely ! You know, everytime I'm trying to make one, I have to deal with that f**king sh*t : > So, I cancel that 2nd Step [the one with Black Grains], & jump directly to this : > Which isn't really "Watercolory" enough to me. [As you saw, it made the Harry Potter Portrait become a Ghost] All those tiny "Black Grains" makes me sick, it a real pain in the a** to get rid of them ! Otherwise, the delimitations, [black contours], are fairly ok, [not that great though], & I'll be good to go from there, but this things f**ks everything up. [Main reason why I kinda stopped helping with requests for a while... ]
  16. Went into something weird & probably not intended. I found it accidentally by missclicking a Dialogue Option : [Didn't found it mentionned] Run into the "Delemgan Encounter", [for exemple], outside of Tikawara. This Encounter is supposed to block the way, preventing you from passing through it if you don't interact with it. Choose, "Go back from where you came" option. [meaning you just leave] But when you do, the "Encounter Disappears". Then, you're free to pass through.
  17. Slightly better than what I used to do : [still not really satisfied...]
  18. To me the obvious choice is the "Level Scale Upward Only" option, so everything in Deadfire is at least up to your Level. No Paper-Dragon & if you run into a Godlike Encounter, well... Now you know. Try Hard or Comeback later, as we used to do back in the day. One thing is certain, for me, I don't want things to scale down & made easier. Nothing beats the feeling of winning a "Godlike Encounter", [you're supposed to Lose], because you played really well to earn victory.
  19. Ok, Thanks for the info, I'll try to see if I can find this folder. It's probable that I've made a Reset of my Computer since the last time I've played though.
  20. Need some Insight, I'm not sure I fully understand how Import practically works : [steam] : Whenever I wanna play the First Game, I just install it & all my Saved Game are here. [in some sort of a "Steam Cloud", I guess...] But for the Secong Game, should I reinstall Pillars I, so Deadfire has "Access" to these "Hidden Saved Game // End Game States" ? Do I have to Reinstall Pillars, then Look For // Copy // Paste the Hidden Save somewhere, then manually copy it in whatever Folder when Deadfire is out & fully Installed ? I guess the main Question is : Does Deadfire automatically accesses Pillars I End Game Saves, when it's not Installed ?The practical side of this bugs me out...
