The True Sith from Nadd's time aren't necessarily dead. They fled, and the Republic was too wounded to hunt them out. Nadd and his followers went to Y4, but who's to say that some of Ludo's loyalists weren't left behind, or fled in separate directions? Visas saw "A graveyard world. Surrounded by ships." The same thing she sees in the Exile. Only if you take the mask, though.

Oh, if it was at Palpy's request, then it's not official, is it? Palpy wanted a buddy behind the scenes, and that's what he got. I doubt Anny would have even thought of being on the council without Palp's recommendation...

Not so. Kotor is all about Revan and the Exile, and the effects of their previous actions. It's not all about 4000 yrs. before Palpy and co., it's about (possibly) the final death of the Sith Species. However, we'll have to wait to see about that one, won't we?

I see that *fact* a lot on these boards, what is the original source material that supports this theory? especially pertaining to the sith creating the disease that wiped out the Rakata. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, the computer on the Rakata world says that the disease was likely created by a rebellious Slave Species, and the Sith Species (even without the Dark Lords) were master alchemists. I simply did an addition problem (2+2 is almost equal to fish), and came up with that. It's just a theory, but all evidence suggests so.

BG3 should be good, I would hope. Then again, I have yet to try BG I and II (although I did try out the Dark Alliance subseries ). Didn't Bioware start something called BG3 but then cancelled it??? If you read the profiles of the programmers here at Obsidian, then most of them worked on the cancelled BG3, didn't they? Hmm...

Interesting article... I don't like EA anyway, really. Craigboy may want to be an artist, but I wanna (and am well on my way) to becoming a programmer. In fact, right now I screw around w/ the game more than I actually play it. That and 9AM-10PM seems a lot better than my current AVERAGE schedule of 4:45AM-10:30PM... :ph34r: Plus, if my gaming career falls through (when I start up in about 5 years) then I have a few good friends that can 'hook me up' with various other programming jobs... Some for the government, some for private industries. All I really need to do is keep my options open, true? Where did you get that? I can believe that the Sith Species had an 'empire' of sorts, but it was likely consigned to very few worlds, because at that time they were too primitive, and even when the Lords came Space Travel was strange to them. I don't think your dates are right...

Then you missed out on a huge part of the Beast that is Nihilus. Perhaps the mask was an ancient Sith artifact that used the DS to retain his humanity, and any that looked at it w/ the Force would see only it. Hey, wierder Sith artifacts have been made canonical...

Well, for one, there IS NO SUCH THING AS NEUTRAL JEDI! They serve light or dark, with varying shades. You pick one, or fall to either (most unwillingly). Please do not start this cliche discussion. I can understand the neutrality based on Kotor alignment thing, but in the SW Universe there is NO neutral.

Oh, and the whole 'as they did before the Rep..." thing is because in the Trilogy the Republic is considered to be the thing that Darth Bane was in 1000 years before the movie. The Republic was essentially wiped out at that time, and it was refounded and fixed up, which also explains Palpatine's 1000 year Republic 'error'. People forget the cowardly order that called themselves Sith 1000 years before the movies.

The Rakata weren't associated w/ the True Sith Empire AT ALL! HOLY COW, MAN! The Rakata RULED the Sith Species, but (for all intents and purposes) the Sith invented a disease that aided in the destruction of the Infinite Empire. The Sith Empire was founded NEARLY 10,000 YEAR LATER! Please do a search and pull up my topic on the Ancient Sith. It explains and corrects much of the ignorance people are showing these days.

Judging by general consensus, then many people want to have a game where being a Jedi isn't an option (the whole overpowering issue). If you were a soldier, then it would add a more War feeling... You could serve under and with Jedi, sure, but being a Jedi is overused, and really wouldn't be all that fun in the Mandy Wars. If they wanna start off as a nobody (or soldier) then they can go play SW Galaxies (or Kotor I).

In answer to the title, with an interestingly familiar paraphrase: "Pure speculation, my dead Watson." Okay, I've never actually read much of Sherlock Holmes... If LA doesn't have Kotor III made, then I will have very little reason to go to them. I'll probably continue into Dungeon Siege and other games that sound D&D-ish (Like Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale). That Holmes paraphrase was a type-o... It should be 'dear Watson', but it's far too humorous for me to delete it. :ph34r:
