Should The True Sith Be In Kotor III?

Recommended Posts

Hello

Well it was all explained in a way in Kotor II about theses True Sith and that Revan went off to fight theses weird sith or what ever they are.Now I can tell you what our ultimate enemy should be for Kotor III, and that shoud be The true sith.It would help explain who theses enemies are and why they are more dangerous then the "fake" sith we have been fighting in most star wars game games lol.Now all a long as you all probably know, yes I know,we have been fighting "fake sith" all along.now in kotor III it would be good if the truth sith could exlpain their "Origin" and why they are such a threat to the galaxy.I think the true sith should appear in Kotor III now do you think that The True Sith should Be In Kotor III?

arn't anyone sick of theses mysterious true sith and not knowing much about them?

The true Sith are dead and forgotten. The lame references to some godly beings of pure evil and chaos that are known as "The True Sith" should be just ignored for the greater good just like it was done with the midichlorians. Thank you very much.

Were the references to the 'godly beings' part in the Kotor games or somewhere else? I certainly didn't get that impression from the games. It was mentioned that the Sith had originally been a species with a particular set of beliefs that were taken up by exiled dark Jedi, who were later called 'Sith'. The original Sith, the species that is, were supposed to have died out.

My interpretation of the True Sith references in Kotor 2 was of an Empire of Sith in previously unexplored space, perhaps a surviving colony of the Sith species or another civilization inspired by a purer form of their teachings. But nothing supernatural, godly or extradimensional. That would be difficult to implement in a game, and to reconcile with canon.

this could turn out to be a good idea but the game should take place in the unknown regions of space. this is supposedly where Revan and the exile(given what Kreia says to the exile) went to look for these "True Sith" . the reason Revan would search them out would be because he was 'tricked' into fighting the mandalorians since they were never truly the enemy he was fighting so he goes and searches for them to find out the answers. this should be taking place during/directly after TSL because one would think that by now Revan would have some clues about them. if it takes place directly after TSL then you could start out as the exile searching for Revan so he could answer some of the lingering questions that were never answered at the end of TSL.

Ya they could fight the "true sith" only to have the "true true sith" come in later and wreck up the joint, then another couple of wars and more morally ambiguous themes, like if you give an old man some money, he might use it to buy some viagra, and have a heartattack while giving a twilek a good rodgering

Abso-freakin'-lutely right. That would be like so totally sweet. You should be head of the KotOR VII dev team. There is no emoticon to describe the emotion I feel right now. :iwetmyself:

The True Sith from Nadd's time aren't necessarily dead. They fled, and the Republic was too wounded to hunt them out. Nadd and his followers went to Y4, but who's to say that some of Ludo's loyalists weren't left behind, or fled in separate directions? People, before you say anything related to SW Timeline, please read EVERY line about it, okay? Or at least do your research!

Not necessarily true. The references where more of an empire of Sith followers (hence the "true" Sith), compared to the people following Revan and Malak. I do not see any reason why they should be uber-powerful in any way.

That still wouldn't be the "True Sith Empire" that is spoken about in KotOR, Sith remnants, if anything. Still, it's a lame idea. Clinging to small scrapes of other people's stories usually yields bad results and is a mark of a drought of ideas.

And the idea of "researching SW" is just laughable.

Nah. It would open a whole new can of worms about who exactly this so-called "True Sith" are, and how that corresponds with known information about what is already known as the Sith in the SW universe.

That's just it you are missing the point I dont care what happened to revan and the exile. If there is another kotor game and they are in it in some capacity then I (as the new and hopefully original PC) want to find them dead.. and naked.. and possibly holding hands. Thus erasing their mystique and awe forever. If they turn out to be female then they should be slaves with their memory wiped (permanently this time!!) is also good.

Haven't they painted themselves into a corner with this?

Basically, all they would have to do is explain that there are still

Massassi living in the old Sith worlds and that Jedi outcasts have been

going there in recent times and trying to get them to become expansionist

again.

It wouldn't be that hard to do but it would mess with continuity.

I don't think

that Kreia was just using that as a way to change the

subject

. I think it is LA's way of telling us what is to come.

After they really kill off the True Sith, they are going to have to make more of

a distiction between the LS and DS paths in these games. Having an alien threat

allows them to wait on that needed change.

They've got to deal with this in some fashion. Or how are they going to explain what happened to Revan and the Exile?

i have a feeling we'll be fighting something that makes the sith now look like house pets:)

and to the one refering to babylon 5 you got the hand out of the legend of the rangers that would of been a sweet series.

I agree with you. After everything at the end of TSL about the "true sith" I think that they have to resolve it in some way. And, unlike Darth Flatus, I do care about what happened to Revan and the Exile. After all I just played two games as them and to leave the true sith thing up in the air really wouldn't tie up all the loose ends we were left with in TSL.

I am not familiar with EU lore, but  after Kreia told me about this true sith it reminded me strongly of the Shadows, an incredibly powerful race of dedicated to chaos and evolution which also dwelt somewhere at the edge of space.

Revan, lost for a decade, finally comes to the end of the yellow brick road ... The Grand Poo-Ba Wizard Ozzi Ozbourne bites the head of a Jawa and Revan clicks her ruby lightsabers together ...

... And the Stay-Puft Sith Lord, caught in the crossed streams (which is ordinarily a bad idea), loses its tenuos grip on credibility and is sent through the dimension door, back to the anti-universe of clich
