Kreia never said that the True Sith were actual members of the Sith Species. When the Sith led by Naga Sadow retreated from the Republic, they ran right into Ludo Kressh's forces. Then the Republic showed up and finished the job in the crossfire. Now, knowing what we do of the Sith, and the fact that they have a tendency to somehow survive a massive all-anhialating (sp?) war, who's to say that some lucky Dark Jedi rising amongst the Sith (the Species and Dark Jedi lived together as an Empire), didn't survive? Just a thought... It seems plausible if you really go into detail, which I don't feel like doing.

That was Marka Ragnos, I believe... been half a year since I played that game. He was a half-breed, according to the EU. The True Sith (species) look sorta like that, only they have legs, and don't float around. Ragnos used a scepter because the Lightsaber (once again, drawing from the EU), was a new invention for the Jedi, and the Sith were clear on the far rim of the Galaxy.

If you wipe out all of his conversation topics on both Light and Dark side, and talk around to other people, you find that he WANTED to go to war, and that he felt that he had a sort of 'kinship' with the Exile because of this. Kavar is/was a strategist, but Revan was a lot better and that is what helped to screw over the Mandalorians... At least, that is my opinion.

The Rakata were killed by a disease (or, that helped lead to their death), and the Sith were masters of alchemy. If you replay KOTOR I and talk to the computer in the Rakatan Temple, he says that the disease could have been created by one of the Slave Races. Just pointing that out. Also in KOTOR I, Canderous says that the Sith gave the Mandalorians a 'True Challenge', or the Republic. I may replay and talk to him about that some more... I would try to answer some of the other questions, but I'm in a hurry.

I don't see why someone said that Kreia was too smart for her own good (I couldn't drag up the quote). I've been waiting for KOTOR to have another Revan, someone that has a scheme, that nobody knows about... The Master and Apprentice have a lot in common, it seems. Other than Kreia, my favorite villian is probably Nihilus, despite the fact that he was not exactly difficult. He seems like the Exile's 'Twin'... Perhaps Obsidian had some hidden point behind this, I'll do a search and see what other previous discussions of this topic I can drag up.

Here's why I think Bastila managed to survive the 'mini-purge:' Two words: Force Bonds She was bonded to the most powerful Jedi of the era, Revan, be he light or dark. If he was Dark Side, then she would try to suck as much power as possible, assuming that he was a he, of course. If he was lightside, then I'm sure she would not have to try as hard... Maybe. Now, I ask you, what would happen if the Exile ran into Revan. What if Revan offers himself to the Exile (even a portion of his strenght), wouldn't the Exile have the capacity to defeat worlds? As far as I'm concerned, Revan represents Redemption, and the Exile (lightside) represents Potential...

Well... I have finally registered. I've been lurking ever since the game was announced, and I just finished the game on Light Side Male, and I would like to have an OPTIMISTIC discussion... THERE WILL BE MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW! Over all, it was a GREAT game... I liked it a lot, and I played it often. It only took me thirty hours, gaining top influence with everbody except HK-47 and GO-TO. Well, that's all the time I have for now. If you want to yell at me, go ahead, but I felt like setting up a discussion about the behind the scenes aspects. I will talk about the villans later.
