  1. Loaded a save before the last "chapter" but I didn't get any notification about the dlc, I even tried to go back to Queen's Berth and sailed again.
  2. I'm really liking it for now as a whole, is a bit more BG like narratively (character are caricatures and don't speak like real people as PoE characters do), but the rules, the combat and the balance of it I can only describe as horrible.
  3. The guardian of ukaizo bug is fixed on my end, predictably you have to load a previous save or an autosave of area entering.
  4. Reviews are starting to come out. According to Gamers Nexus (review link) the 2080 really isn't worth it for the price, a 1080ti is virtually identical with games and should cost much less. RTX as anyone can imagine is pure marketing for now considering how many games use it, how much different is graphically and the burden on hardware.

  7. I've loaded an autosave on map entering and....nothing happened, the conversation didn't start and I could safely navigate to area exit. I don't know if that's the expected behavior.

  9. Description: As soon as I step into the harbor the Guardian starts to speak but it's not there, afterwards some animat glitch spawn. Steps to Reproduce the Issue: Sided with Principi, fought all the battles against VTC then continued to sail through Ondra's Mortar. The Guardian attacks (in a scripted interaction) and it's stopped by Scyorielaphas, game loads the harbor map and the bug happens. Savegame, output log and system specs will be in the mail I'll send you, linking to this topic.
  10. When I selected items in inventory pre 2.0 was like moving my mouse through mud (sluggish and accelerated) in 2.0 this is gone.

  12. I agree with the sentiment of another per rest resource. I think trinkets should be something like a class mod/set bonus of other games and change how a class skill works or something like that.
  13. You are only posting (the same thing) when there's a controversial topic that can easily go flame. You sure that the others are guard dogs? Coming back on topic, I really don't see the point. There's no clear evil in the game and in BG2 you had the illusion of being able to play evil character but you really couldn't for a long series of reasons. Plus PoE (both of them) have many more choices and consequences to define the character so I can't see how it can be less rpg. Edit: I googled images for BGs boxes and they both rated lower or equal than PoE, so not true about that either.

  15. It's getting a little annoying now that I'm in Neketaka and almost any npc starts the conversation with "Ekera" and only that single word. Valians in Port Maje used made up terms but it wasn't just the same word over and over. Edit: I wanted to add that the annoyance of valians for me was more about the voice over than the made up terms.

And you are right if that's true and they don't fix it but I also think that they have more data and experience to asses if something is OP or not (probably even more than experienced players) plus they can adjust the numbers next patch. I mean overbuffing and overnerfing is actually a well known technique of balancing.

Problem is, if you don't fix the really unbalanced items/skills the "same shade of irrelevance that destroys reason to try new things" is exactly what happens to ALL the other items/skills in the game and successfully answer to the question why a single player RPG needs a semblance of balance. Adding to that, while the guys at Obsidian sure do their share of mistakes I think that overall they can be trusted about balancing issues considering PoE1 (doesn't mean it's perfect of course). All things considered I've found the volume of whining about the patches excessive to the point of childishness. But that's probably me.
  18. I completed the first quest of both families and after that I was able to arrange the meeting and find a peaceful resolution.

  20. Well, I kinda agree because that's not what I was saying. I too hate when people disregard critics and think they can have any opinion whatsoever and you just have to respect it because reasons even if is bullsH*t. I was talking about measuring the value of two really good things and decide which is better. I think that is crazy, you can't measure it and between two good things it really probably just end up being about personal tastes. You can measure and say who's better between two really great artists? Even if you could how useful would that be? They probably wouldn't care themselves. Edit: I wanted to add. Even two things that appear similar can be very different and come from a different place, so if they are "close enough" I don't see much the point of conclude which is better. BG2 is from entirely another era of games for instance, much different development and challenges.
  21. I don't get why people have to rank everything. Especially in a work of art one thing is rarely "clearly better" than another, a good song is a good song as any other good song, you might like one more than another but that's it, it's simply touches your "chords" better. That doesn't mean that you can't discuss about the goods and bads of something but I feel we lose so much time in meaningless arguments about what's better, it almost sound like the child's argument about who's stronger between hero X and hero Y, of totally unrelated narrative universe :D
  22. The update fixed the bad performance in some areas for me. Unfortunately the "Xoti wants to talk but normal conversation happens" bug is still there, if you talk to her the icon disappears but as soon as you select her again the glow behind the icon comes back (the icon itself doesn't).
  23. Every time a read about the kamikaze frigate move from TLJ I can't help to remind people that in RotJ the big ass imperial ship is destroyed by a simple A-Wing crashing into it. SW has always been about dramatic scenes and logic shouldn't apply more than the necessary, that doesn't mean that something can't be "wrong" or out of place (Rebels spoiler but rarely is something that breaks the immersion for the spectator and if it doesn't it's usually ok.
  24. Esattamente, perdonami per essemi spiegato così male. Intendevo che non sono d'accordo con i cambi di nome della traduzione originale, non vedo gran necessità per esempio di cambiare "Minoletta" in "Minolea" , magari in altri casi hanno fatto bene ma non è il caso per quelli che ho visto (altro esempio Palatini Darcotis invece di Darcozzi Paladini).
