I am progressing well with sorting the apartment. Moving is always strange. More so when you change everything. I closed the smallest hotel in Athens. I am out of tourism. Tourism turns you into a racist. Unless you only have Australian guests - Australians are cool. Clumsy and loud perhaps, but fun and friendly and happy to be here. So I have moved into one apartment myself and it is such a strange experience to be here and not be in stress to get things ready for check in. I took down the sign from the entrance and am having a new one printed with just my art and no text.2 points

If you don't have that party member you apparently get betrayed by the spy master on dargonus, who had been tortured by the drukagmhrimmm (ok, I give up trying to type the dark eldar name on my phone). Comorragh would have worked better without that long-winded trial and all the stupid skill checks. It also makes you appreciate Argenta, who basically keeps it together better than anyone else in there. "Hey Argenta, I am going to escape this place. You in?" "Does the Emperor $#!7 on his throne? Let's blow this joint!" Disclaimer: this may not be the exact wording in the game.1 point

I will definitely play it but in a couple of years when I can mod it and when its on a sales special I play all Bioware games eventually1 point

Alright this is where I'm at currently Just concerned its a bit too squishy, but with all the summons I'm going to be throwing down its probably OK1 point

I feel like there's untapped potential for reverse ragebaiting people into buying your game by getting everyone mad at how stupid the people talking about the game are. For Veilguard, you've already got one side effectively covered, so now you just need to manufacture some SJW ("social justice woker", of course) getting upset about how the game is in fact really anti-LGBT and made only for incels and white men, and I think you'll probably have manipulated just about everyone who cares into buying your game.1 point

Did Bioware turn everyone into transsexuals again? I mean that clearly was what made Inquisition bad. Male skull shapes on female characters. You know what's hilarious though? Angry orange haired pick-me girls and blue haired anime character channels complaining about Veilguard make me want to preorder the Deluxe Edition. On the EA app. *clicks* And done! Probably not even going to play it. *snort*1 point

Once again I have zero personal interest in the game but YT likes to toss these things into my "algorithm" so I see them sometimes. >.> The review controversy is that they were very very picky re: review codes. Reviews are always grain of salt+confirmation bias, but maybe even moreso this time, for the early ones. And if you want a counter for "best game evah" type reviews, here's SkillUp. Sounds like this one is going to very divisive. His point re: the face artstyle vs. the Shrek's Prince Charming (around 5 minutes in) made a lightbulb go off in my head. I knew there was something I didn't like about the chr/face artstyle but I couldn't put my finger on it. I did like Shrek film but the animation style wasn't why for that, either. Personal tastes and all.1 point

That reminds me of the good old times when my mother told me she bought seeds for hot peppers, because I like them. When they were all nice and grown, I bit into one to see how hot they really are, because normally what's being sold as hot peppers here tops out at Bird's Eye. Yeah, so it turns out she bought Naga Morich seeds. That was certainly an experience. One I don't necesssarily recommend.1 point

Some co-workers bought a box of different organic peppers ripe from the end of growing season for me, since I'm the "spicy food" guy (I'm not really that much of a hothead, but I do cook with and eat stuff like bird's eye, habaneros, and scotch bonnets, don't usually go much higher than stuff like that). I wasn't sure what would actually be in the box or how hot the peppers would be, and I ended up eating this lumpy and misshapen pale pepper called a "jay's peach ghost scorpion". Suffice to say, I suddenly remembered why I normally stick with the peppers that I do.1 point

Thanks Boeroer and Chaospread for the great ideas. I will definitely try these class combos!!1 point

SC Furyshaper is very good. The Blood Wards siphons health from ANY damage that a party member who's standing in the ward's AoE causes. That includes DoTs from Battle Axes, Gouging Strike, Plague of Insects and whatnot. Those normally don't work with health draining (like Chanter's "Old Siec" phrase). ANd it works for every party member in the AoE. So if you have somebody who's dealing a lot of damage you don't need to bother healing them. They usually heal themselves pretty easily. The Furyshaper himself can for example use Battle Axe + Heart of Fury and Barbaric Retaliation: summon a Blood Ward near the place you want to go, jump into the fray, trigger HoF and distribute Bleeding Cuts all over the place which will continue to draw health - and become pretty tanky that way although getting hit a lot. Or if you stay at a distance and summon the ward and then "shoot" enemies with Barbaric Roar you will gain a ton of health if you hit enough enemies because the shout does so much damage. If you fear the wards may get destroyed quickly: you can withdraw the wards with a Priest. They will become untouchable but will still work fine for you and your party. The Fear Ward is very good if you have somebody with a club (+modal) and maybe a Waizrd with Miasma of Dull-Mindedness in the party. The ward's ACC is pretty low - but terrify is a very strong affliction. If you can make sure enemies' will is low it will be devastating. Imo it's the best Barb subclass besides Berserker. And Corpse Eater unfortunately is the weakest because +1 Rage is devastaningly bad for the cheap 1-Rage abilities such as Frenzy, Shouts and Wild Sprint. In addition to that Barbaric Smash still only refunds 2 points on kill but costs 3: also bad. But I do not know the changes the Polishing mod does. I'm sure it makes it better. --- Mage Slayer with Effort (enchantment Hemorrhaging) can apply the Mage Slayer's spell disruption with his shouts (!). The great sword's enchantment also procs off of shout- and spell-crits and so on - and it counts as melee attack. So you can shout a Driving Roar and drop enemies and also apply Blood Frenzy's DoT or Spirit Frenzy's Stagger + Effort's Hemorrhaging (hobble or sicken) + Spell Disruption. If you stack 4 spell disruptions the enemy cannot cast anything anymore. Mage Slayer can also apply spell disruption with Frostseeker. It procs a melee helper attack then one of the projectiles crits. This melee helper procs the frost AoE. It counts as melee weapon attack and applies Mage Slayer's spell disruption, too. That way you can play a ranged Mageslayer with war bow and shouts. It's pretty cool imo.1 point

Nah. We already had 4 years of his train wreck. The reality if we have a solid balance of power that tends to wipe out or neutralize a lot of executive actions, for better or worse. Both progress and regression are slow. It's also interesting how far removed the narratives are from the reality. The reality is the economy is doing great and everyone has jobs. Prices are up, but so are salaries. The craziness of national politics don't actually affect what is happening on a local level. I'm not saying things are perfect, but things continue to be better on average than then they were in previous generations.1 point

That's actually a good idea since the party lacks a Priest otherwise. And I would say at least at the highest levels and with a Cipher (and Ancestor's Memory) in the party a Livegiver (Cat)/Priest of Eothas should be an awesome healer. Once you are brilliant from Ancestor's Memory you turn into Cat form (+5 PL to Rejuvenation on top of the +2 PL Livegivers get anyway for Rejuvenations) and cast Salvation of Time and then all sorts of healing spells. Rinse and repeat. Never switch back from cat form because of Salvation of Time (always +5 PL on Rejuvenation), never stop being brilliant (unless dispelled somwhow) and chuck out awesome healing spells without limits - AND healing over time effects will also stay on you. Might be able to stack an absurd amount of instances of healing over time effects on you and your party members... Or don't use Livegiver but pick up the Spine of Thicket Green and enchant it with Empowering Lifeblood: enjoy +2 PL to Rejuvenation (Druid) and Restoration (Priest) spells and don't mess around with Spiritshift at all. Maybe pick Ancient instead (there's two nice sporeling summuns who can tank pretty well if you support them with healing - and one healing spell is a plant spell (Garden of Life) so that'd get a bonus Power Level from being Ancient, too). Maybe pick a Nature Godlike for the additonal +1 PL? Thematically fitting and good performance. And as I sad: there isn't a Priest in he party yet (didn't realize before). So this multiclass could also buff at combat start and then switch to healing after that. Normally you don't need a lot of healing right at the start of battle - so a dedicated healer might just stand around and wait to be useful. Might as well cast a Blessing and Devotions otF first.1 point

echoing Chaospread, honestly i'm super sour on corpse-eater for SC barb. Best part of SC barb is getting high level shout abilities, and corpse eater makes it 100% more expensive. if you're set on corpse-eater i'd multiclass it (so the +1 rage cost hurts overall less) and if you're set on SC barb i'd choose something else.1 point

Hello. Thanks for a wonderful game. I have had a great experience with it, both visually and mechanically. There are a few areas where I would much appreciate to see some improvements, namely (probably more to come, I'm not finished with the game at all ^^) : global search in recipes, instead of a per-category basis ability to create equipement sets (armor, trinket, weapons), on the same principle as mutation sets more mutation sets, 4 is definitely too few, and the ability to name them ability to remap keys for mutation set quickswap (T key) by default) : on an Azerty layout, you can't use 1/2/3/4 to swap to said set, you have to click, which usually takes longer than using the keyboard). You can remap shortcuts for the action bar, but not for the mutation quickswap ability to remap keys for previous/next zipline hook when deconstructing a building, you should always get the resources in your inventory, and only whatever doesn't fit there should fall on the floor. After all, we get back silk ropes in our inventory when removing a zipline, why not have a consistent behaviour there ? I'm sick and tired of having 10 to 20 resources getting scattered everywhere whenever I deconstruct something. Or at the very least, generalize the behaviour where everything gets packed in a convenient and unique little bag, idk when a building is destroyed by insects, it should leave a blueprint, so that you don't spend so much time remembering what went where, and placing everything back again Thanks for your attention, and again thanks for your work on this awesome survival piece of game !1 point

Just jumping in here to say that I just reinstalled this game after backing it and putting in 200+ hours around release/dlcs after watching your Tier-list video! thanks for re-ignitinig my love of this game and making my mind whirr with lots of fun ideas for a fresh playthrough/build.1 point

Right now farming is -terribly- inefficient in every single way possible. If you play with family/kids and use a lot of healing smoothies, this is a severe detriment to gameplay.(especially since a world does not provide MORE ingredients as a result of more players, so you have 4 people using the same stuff 1 person gets) 1 - You only get around 2-3x what you put in, and then one has to be used for replanting. 2 - You have to manually plant, fertilize, and harvest, every single crop, every single time. It's actually easier to just go out and get stuff, literally. Could we just hire Burg.L for this? 3 - Farming takes up a huge amount of space for what little you get out of it. 4 - It takes a MASSIVE amount of fertilizer for a very small benefit. 5 - It's not really how farming works for most things, but especially mushrooms. You don't harvest the entire plant, you just harvest what's on it, and it grows again. The base of a mushroom still stays in the ground. The same would apply to the muscle sprouts.1 point

Add dragonflies, worms, grasshoppers that you can ride, centipedes, frogs, and more birds that are actually dangerous but u can also ride them maybe. Also why not be able to make your own character. This game has so much potential . It’s amazing1 point

I would like a feature that allows easier pick up of specific items at the players feet. I suggest a feature Like the following: Player aims at dry grass chunk, "E" pick up "Hold E" Gather. Player holding "E" will now collect any identical objects at their feet like when collecting arrows. This stops if the player is attacked or releases the "E" key1 point

You could buy some Bud Light after the incel backlash against it (with a lot of them hate buying the stuff to destroy it on video, which is what I think @Bartimaeus was getting at ), but that is hard to recommend doing so even to make a point. Buying a Bioware game might still get you a product that is somewhat good, particularily if you're like me and neither hated Andromeda nor Inquisition, but there's not much that Bud Light has going for it. Well, maybe for a teetotaler it could be interesting, as it can't be really called beer.0 points
