  3. Heh, tried to use a few scrolls and they actually work pretty good. I wonder, do proc on kill abilities work with scrolls? Like if i kill someone with a fireball, that does count for that Bleak Walker talent that causes aoe fear?
  4. I personally didn't like the wiz/chan build, i think its too slow and only blooms really late. But i love the DoT builds with combusting wounds for sorcerer role play. If you need a guide try this one.
  5. I forgot to mention that I have 27031-27036 also forwardxed for TCP and UDP.
  6. Hopefully not. I know we lost @Guard Dog to happiness, so as much as I miss him, I hope he stays busy with his new life.

  8. It's worth considering if Russia breaks the front line and if Ukraine asks. Very strong indeed. "I have a clear strategic objective: Russia cannot win in Ukraine. If Russia wins in Ukraine, there will be no security in Europe. Who can pretend that Russia will stop there? What security will there be for the other neighbouring countries, Moldova, Romania, Poland, Lithuania and the others?" I guess he, too , forgot NATO exists.
  9. I'm playing in story mode and I'm supposed to build Burgl Mission Waft Emitter. I'm already with Java machine and have all auxiliary and main chips but the blueprint for waft emitter is missing
  10. Lets hope its not as unsuccessful as the French African military interventions But to be fair to France you cant defeat Islamic extremism in Africa without also changing the economic and social conditions in these African countries and only African governments can do that France cant do that for them
  11. It's so hard to take Macron seriously here that I instantly pictured a forthcoming chemical war involving soldiers with yesterday's garlic on their breath on the one side, and soldiers with yesterday's vodka on their breath on the other. BUT let's hope Macron delivers, should the need arise.
  12. Macron had another speech, and he delivered even stronger wording about the French intervention in Ukraine. He has now officialy put it on same level as past French interventions in Africa to counter terrorism. https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2024/05/2/7453964/
  13. Wonder how long till they start flaunting corpses of their kills.
  14. Everytime i want to join my friends lobby or he wants to join mine (we both play on ps4) its not working and we get toll that it is a Connecticut error. Can anyone pls help me to fix it or Tell me why it happens?
  15. Psion/Troubadour is an example of being really good and lots of fun at the same time - at least for me. I think it's the versatility that motivates to apporach most encounters in different ways. You could go with one single set of actions every time - but it's much more rewarding to do the most efficient thing. So... summoning a bunch of X is always useful, but it takes a lot of time and steering the summons can be annoying - and it's totally not necessary if you can paralyze the enemies right away with a Killers Froze Stiff invocation - and so on. And you always have resources - but you cannot spell-spam high-level stuff right at the start of an encounter (which also makes stuff boring at some point). Mortar Monk is another example. It's gamebreakingly good - but somehow it still is fun to unleash the umphteenth Whispers of the Mortar Winds Mayhem. Can't even say why in this case. Maybe because one had to wait for it for a rel. long time and also maybe because it isn't optimal for single tough foes - so you have to interact differently in those cases at least. Maybe also because it's best if you assemble as many foes as possible in a rel. small area. So every encounter turns into some kind of minigame where I tried to lure, steer, force enemies into a certain spot before I started WotW. The Troubadour/Arcane Archer (see below) is a perfect party member for this (very high ACC and bazillion parallel pulses of Binding Web and Pull of Eora) Maybe yet another example could be a melee Bloodmage/Soulblade which is really good but also really versatile if must be. I'm not a big fan of Soulblades - but I read enough reports about this combo to know that several players did enjoy playing it. One-trick-ponies becoming boring to play is no secret. So maybe the takeaway is that versatile (and impactful) characters are more fun to play. Helwalker/Berserker with Saru-Sichr is very impactful in my game. Overabundance of wounds, very high chance for crit-chains, DoTs, great debuffing and CC and so on. Yet very difficult to manage due to the drastic self damage. It's a rewarding challenge imo. The good builds I had the most fun with (of course highly subjective): Helwalker/Berserker Mortar Monk Psion/Troubadour (solo & party) Steel Garrote/Bloodmage (solo & party) SC Furyshaper (solo) Stalker/Bloodmage (solo) Troubadour/Arcane Archer Furyshaper/Troubadour Streetfighter/Unbroken Assassin/Bloodmage Honorable mention: Assassin/Bleak Walker solo with Lover's Embrace. Absolute one-trick pony (or three-trick maybe... stack 3 everlasting DoTs on every enemy one by one, turn invisible, hide and wait) that I expected to become boring very quickly- but it carried the run for a sursprinsingly long time. Sometimes retreating and hiding was more difficult and risky as one might expect and sneaking past enemies failed often enough and things got a bit messy. Also sometimes it didn't work (Water Dragon, Huani O Whe...)
  16. Russia's main message of "Our victory is inevitable" looks fairly amusing given that this was supposed to be a quick and decisive foray but has now lasted well over two years. I don't think there's any doubt that Russia's position does look significantly better than Ukraine's, but the posturing is silly. But then, that's Russia for you. The abbreviation of their first nuclear bomb, RDS-1, stands for "Rossiya delaet sama" which means "Russia does it itself". A nice name, given that Russia was effectively stealing what others had done in the Manhattan Project. What interests me the most is the psychology behind it: Russia was lying and everyone knew they were lying, but despite all that, they simply had to lie. It would have been more honorable to give the bomb some other name, something that didn't involve a blatant lie, but apparently that was impossible: it just had to be a lie. (A Russian writer recently pointed out that the "Russian psyche" -- such that is displayed in the country's posturing, not the mindset of the individual -- is a curious mixture of almost megalomaniacal grandiosity and almost debilitating lack of self-esteem.)
  17. read and watch a lot less light novel and anime in recent year but this is one of the more enjoyable light novel in recent years first 3 episode of anime also looks pretty good at this pace season 1 would likely include first 3 volume of light novel the way it touch many issue within the voice actor industry are not too heavy but still enough for outsider to understand
  18. Do you think it's possible to make a build *really* good and fun at the same time? Like if you can delete everything with a few spells, it being noninteractive is the result of being overpowered so there is no need to consider survival, strategy etc. Other builds are more interactive because they are not powerful enough to neglect other aspects, or have to do extra things to reach the same level of survivability or damage. Got me thinking if we have to deliberately go for "weaker" builds to have fun.
  19. Its easy to understand what is an illegal or legal protest and this is outside of criminal acts or violence being committed , it depends on things like where the protest is happening. You cant protest on private property and as far as I know certain Federal areas But you can protest in public areas. But the campus encampments and protests were largely on private sector University areas which is why much of the Universities protests have moved outside the private areas to the streets So its not a selective definition because the University can allow protests on there grounds but they have every right to call in the police to end illegal encampments on there private sector areas
  20. I agree, I think weapon shouldn't be levelled - *everything* must come down to your build. Also wider selection of weapons and more unique weapons supporting more builds. The capability to mod your weapon is already good, I don't think it needs further improvement.
  21. Come on Lexx, lets be fair There are literally dozens of examples in the US where you see protests that arent violent or illegal or the police dont respond because a particular mayor doesnt want to escalate tension so the police will ignore much of the criminality There have been numerous BLM protests, like the weeks of protests in Portland, where the police didn't intervene or try instigate violence so they can respond with just arresting people Despite what you seem to think the US police arent some fascist organisation that takes orders from an authoritarian government. Its not how it works and you can see the obvious differences in police response in different states and in different cities And these drones are just another mechanism to ensure violent protests can be subdued and contained. Its just an additional tool, its not a bad thing
  22. I like OLED have run an OLED laptop for a few years now, and especially post laser eye surgery, really appreciate the elimination of glare. But while I would happily drop the cash on the now-acceptable pricing on a solid OLED gaming monitor, the problem is that I have three monitors and I don't think just replacing one of them on its lonesome is going to help me much. Getting three of them for ~$3.5k is not on the table just yet, but with current Aussie pricing I think the AW2725DF is clearly the product that makes the most sense for me.
  23. Don't be naive. You'll add some undercover police into the crowd, let them throw some stones and now you can gas everyone. That's how it's going to play out. "Illegal protests" is a funny wording too. Guess who decides what is a legal and illegal protest? Random example out of the wild: Do you think they saw occupy wallstreet as a legal protest?
