  2. Its easy to understand what is an illegal or legal protest and this is outside of criminal acts or violence being committed , it depends on things like where the protest is happening. You cant protest on private property and as far as I know certain Federal areas But you can protest in public areas. But the campus encampments and protests were largely on private sector University areas which is why much of the Universities protests have moved outside the private areas to the streets So its not a selective definition because the University can allow protests on there grounds but they have every right to call in the police to end illegal encampments on there private sector areas

  4. Come on Lexx, lets be fair There are literally dozens of examples in the US where you see protests that arent violent or illegal or the police dont respond because a particular mayor doesnt want to escalate tension so the police will ignore much of the criminality There have been numerous BLM protests, like the weeks of protests in Portland, where the police didn't intervene or try instigate violence so they can respond with just arresting people Despite what you seem to think the US police arent some fascist organisation that takes orders from an authoritarian government. Its not how it works and you can see the obvious differences in police response in different states and in different cities And these drones are just another mechanism to ensure violent protests can be subdued and contained. Its just an additional tool, its not a bad thing
  5. I like OLED have run an OLED laptop for a few years now, and especially post laser eye surgery, really appreciate the elimination of glare. But while I would happily drop the cash on the now-acceptable pricing on a solid OLED gaming monitor, the problem is that I have three monitors and I don't think just replacing one of them on its lonesome is going to help me much. Getting three of them for ~$3.5k is not on the table just yet, but with current Aussie pricing I think the AW2725DF is clearly the product that makes the most sense for me.
  6. Don't be naive. You'll add some undercover police into the crowd, let them throw some stones and now you can gas everyone. That's how it's going to play out. "Illegal protests" is a funny wording too. Guess who decides what is a legal and illegal protest? Random example out of the wild: Do you think they saw occupy wallstreet as a legal protest?
  7. there are a lot of change about situation before sekigahara but name of few character are changed so little it is distracting
  8. They are anonymous contributions, right?.... right?
  9. Do you also support the ICC, I do. Remember when Putin was issued with the warrant and it was immediately dismissed by many people with comments like " the ICC is a Western\US controlled and biased institution and it should be ignored "
  10. Yes, Shogun was a pretty historical drama. The live action version of The Tick has been available on FreeVee, so I've been amused by that.
  11. Freedom and human rights also have civilian responsibilities, the right to protest is enshrined in all Constitutional Democracies but thats the right for peaceful and legal protests Using drones is only a measure to be used when there is illegal and violent protests. It wont be necessary in any peaceful protest which is what most protests in the US are
  12. Yes I was, I reread my post and it wasnt written properly @Wormerine Wormie I hope this clears up any confusion because you absolutely right. We dont want anything to undermine the global influence of the " BruceVC game rating system "
  13. Hello trolls, friends, and denizens! I am fairly excited to share that our first three community blogs are in process and the first will be pushed on May 7th, and then each of the others will be published of each following month. I look forward to sharing such wisdom and insight that is courageously offered by our community members. If you have a musing you are considering, please PM me, as it is great to have a queue of posts lined up!
  14. Took me a frustratingly long time to figure out what I was missing for 100%. Had all the molars, scabs, peeped creatures (great decision to revert on 100% gold cards), fought all the bosses etc. Kept getting the "Collect more yard data" feedback on my scorecard. This was frustratingly vague. Turns out I had confused the Ant totem (which I had) with the Abomination totem (which I hadn't) and since the Recipes tab doesn't show X/Y like the other categories, I could not figure out what I was missing for the Super Win. Luckily a comment in the Reddit forum pointed it out for me. For everything else that appears to be a 100% requirement we have an indicator of how many items we are missing, but for recipes and Ominent data notes and the ???? (Hastily written note) we do not. Otherwise this game is freaking great, a big thank you to all the developers!
  15. I have observed that since Keyrock's forum-software post, he has not been around. Did we lose him? Was that a farewell post? That would make me sad.. Although in truth I often wonder why I still keep coming here myself. Life twists and turns ... but some habits are hard to break.

  17. I'm fairly sure those national flags on the vehicles are not part of the original paint scheme
  18. I liked the sign that Western staff can skip the queues, at least they have a sense of humour
  19. There does seem to be a certain amount of, hmm, posterial discomfort about that display. To be fair to Mr Rosenberg he does actually mention the Ukrainians doing the same unlike a lot of others. Interesting read that, though I rather doubt a lot of the issues can be solved via software update. Bit of 'have hammer, so nails solve all problems' situation. (If you have a transmit signal to a drone or GPS it will weaken very very quickly as distance increases as a basic physical process about which nothing can be done without reworking the laws of the universe. Software updates can't effect that. You'd hope for the expensive stuff they'd already have obvious stuff like software to get GPS and INS talking to each other to help vs spoofing/ jamming of the GPS signal; that's fundamentally why they retain the INS system after all. Pretty much the whole point of a drone of the type(s) used ubiquitously in Ukraine is that they're cheap and easy. Even if they're 'only' 20% effective... well, they're still cheap at 1/5 working especially so if they take out a million dollar+ system. What are you realistically going to do, take them apart before use and put a military grade receiver in plus proper I/O, flashable memory for the software updates... new CPU? FPGAs? AI adaptive module? etc? At some point it kind of defeats the purpose of them being cheap and easy, especially so if it's going to drop back down to one on five working again after two weeks)

  21. If you need high tech drones with gas dispensers to curb your violent citizens, I'd say your government has already failed. This stuff is dystopic as hell.
  22. Some interesting weaponry lessons from Ukraine emerged. Most interesting point being: Chances are that whatever technological edge Ukraine enjoyed has been lost by now.
  23. I think that's why I like to play Helwalker/Berserker so much. I am forced to micromanage this character all the time (and AI settings won't cut it) and at the same time it's powerful and impactful. Most runs I ababdoned indeed were with characters that were really good but simply too boring/uninteractive to play at some point. Interestingly enough the Mortar Monk was not one of them. Mostly casters. Their actions in each encouter could be scritped rel. easily.
  24. We are playing on the steam platform, currently version 1.4.1.4512rel. We also encountered the same problem with bug invincibility. The first time I encountered it was when using a odor eliminator. We placed the odor eliminator in a deciduous tooth jar in the uptown area. We filled all the insect parts. The bugs came, but after killing about 6-8, There are invincible bugs. We can't hurt them, but they can attack us normally. We can attract their hatred and defend against them normally, but we just can't kill them. We tried it again and the second time it was the same. Then today there was a revenge war of mosquitoes. They attacked our house. There were probably more than ten mosquitoes. In the end, 1-2 were invincible. Just like the above situation, we couldn't attack them. This happened after we tried to force quit the game 4 times. How to solve this problem in the end is that after a certain time, about 5 minutes, these bugs suddenly disappear, and then our defense base will be judged as the winner.
  25. I dont think so because its not transmitting. I knew a guy who knew a guy that used to have a cell phone jammer in his car and would use it whenever he was driving because distracted drivers are a real nuisance around here. Im not sure of the transmitting distance but it worked like a champ on the cars in his immediate vicinity. Ive always wanted one of those gizmos that turns the traffic signals green whenever an emergency vehicle is coming, but those bastages in the FCC say civilians cant have those either.
