  2. Adding another voice to the comment on the upgrades screen! It’s definitely a downgrade, way too confusing now to see what you have available to upgrade :(

  4. ^ We are fuddy duddies who think it's reasonable to just want "more TNG" or whatever is one's thing, but studios don't see any profit in folks like us. Although they are willing to use nostalgia-bait to lure some of us in briefly. I'm "wise" to that now - not falling for it again. ======== After reading a bit about the making of Kpop Demon Hunters, interviews with the creators and some of their goals etc, I gave it another watching, paying more attention to some things and I enjoyed it a little more the 2nd time. To be honest, in some ways I did like it better than the few Pixar offerings I've seen the past decade (didn't see TS-4 tho). So I will upgrade my ranking from 6.5 to 7.2. It's still not fully for my old cranky brain, but they don't make films like that for people like me. Apparently that Your Idol song was #1 on Spotify for a while, with another song from the film being #2 as well as being a big views hit for netflix. I'm becoming steadily more convinced that Netflix is going to become K-flix before long.
  5. The cpanel has been updated/altered several times. That's about all I know. 3-4 years ago I did email him with a quick question, and got the usual almost instant reply. But to be fair I haven't done anything with webhosting besides the email addy's (which is re: sign-ins, I don't "social email" at all now) and game screenshots so really haven't kept up/cared to investigate closely. Recently deleted a lot of extraneous software installs too. I've considered eradicating all of it and moving to another webhost just for email access because I like having control over that (never going to use gmail or similar), but honestly, while I'm sure I'll be surfing the net in some lurker form or another until I die, I care less and less about having any actual presence. I'm going to keep paying for my actual domain names until death tho - if I let them lapse for even one second, someone would take them. crimsonkeep-2104826-1278 doesn't have the same ring. Crazy how easy it was for me to get certain randomish names back then vs. now, in anything. There was a time when I could even get "CatLady" at most every registration page I signed up for. Try that now.
  6. Trump knows so many pdf files, it's impossible for him to not be involved in this stuff.
  7. I dont think Trump is personally implicated in under-age sex in the "Epstein Files" , he attended various Epstein parties like hundreds of other people and that doesn't mean everyone who went to one of these parties over the decades did anything wrong. As you mentioned Clinton also attended some of these parties But I do think people he knows and who are considered allies of him are in the files and thats why the DOJ has been flip-flopping on releasing the files It will be an embarrassment to Trumps presidency due to proximity and it will create lots of negative media attention But they clearly trying to create distractions, now its " Obama created the Russian hoax, forget the Epstein Files....we must prosecute Obama !!!" https://www.pbs.org/newshour/show/gabbard-pushes-report-on-obama-and-russia-probe-as-trump-faces-pressure-over-epstein

  9. Hi. Just trying to get some info on this before I start my playthrough. I have about 75-80 total mods loaded up from Nexus. Tried my best to organize things between gameplay, classes, abilities and item mods. Aside from using mods that obviously change the same things and would therefore conflict, is there any type of guideline for how to set up the priority from top to bottom? Or a list of specific mods (or types of mods) that need to be first, or last, etc? Thanks.
  10. Description: Unable to complete Ready the Cannon. softlock after lift dialogue closed mid run see below for steps Autosaves do not go back far enough to before the issue arose due to my testing to see if reloading the area fixed the issue. Steps to Reproduce the Issue: Repaired the lift (used the replacement lever, the cog, and the oil in that order) and began the dialogue sequence. Chose to send someone to fix the winch chose Devil, Devil got injured passed the check chose party spreads to the edges to brace Devil falls, Chose to send someone to help dialogue ended. Unable to reinitiate dialogue w/ the lever, unable to progress further. 11. Maybe it's like that story of the UNIX server that got buried behind a wall and just kept running? Hopefully he's still patching the server for security flaws. Missing Novell server discovered after four years
  12. I suspect a lot of professional reviewers only watch the episodes they're given for advance screenings. If you do that you get a rather skewed view of quality*. There's also potentially the, hmm, Game of Thrones S8/ Bethesda effect of reviewers not really wanting to give something with a Reputation bad reviews. Many of the complaints about nuTrek by their nature require extended watching- or at least, multiple episodes to be watched- to come to the fore. Things like the massive plot holes, inconsistent plotting, logic gaps etc are often only evident when you can compare them with what happened previous/ after. Fans, by their nature, tend to both watch the whole series and notice their issues because they spend more than a few seconds thinking about it. Some will forgive anything of the subject of their fandom, some start a Cato Censoriusesque [programname] delendam esse campaign. *imagine watching the TNG episode about warp destroying the fabric of the universe, but in isolation and with little to no background on the series. With that proviso it's not such a bad episode because you wouldn't know half the stuff that makes it bad. In context though, it's awful. That would, of course, also require you as showrunner/ publicist to think that Force of Nature was the best episode to show reviewers...
  13. "Propagating errors in automated ways" is something I need on a tshirt.
  14. doodle card are the best most stupid and most funny part of the story
  15. Whole Nu-Star Trek has a huge gap between professional reviewer and peasants rating. This stuff is like the perfect sauce for reviewers, but everyone else hates it.
  16. At first I wasn't all that interested in D. Trump's connection with Epstein; after all, you can say similar things about W. Clinton. But DJT is putting so much effort into distracting from Epstein, that I'm starting to wonder if there's more to it. Heh. This thing could backfire. Wouldn't that be fun? Meanwhile: Johnson sending House home early amid push to force Epstein files vote and: House Republicans propose naming Kennedy Center's opera house after Melania Trump Amusing.
  17. Picard gets an 89 rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but a fan rating of 57. Either it's been review bombed, or this is one of those shows where the critics differ significantly from the fans. ... I do wonder though how the crew smell the odorless deuterium gas... maybe there's an additive, like we do with methane?
  18. Good choice. Other than Dindraine and Boudica, all wimin are old faith :P
  19. I don't think the new gen has the attention span to go though the classic ST episode. Tbh, for some episodes I don't either.
  20. I still use my own webhost re: email addresses. I sometimes wonder what will happen if the owner of the severs dies - will I even know outside of it all suddenly not working one day. I have no idea how old he is and it was years and years ago I found him, back when personal webhosting wasn't everywhere/EZ-fied and super cheap. I have this feeling, outside of his 'real job' clients, if he still has those (public webhosting was a small side for him), that I and maybe a few others might be the only ones using/remaining on his no-longer advertised webhost servers at this point.
  21. KPop Demon Hunters (netflix) -- Netflix kept tossing this into my face, but it looked like an Americanized culture musical aimed at young teens, which didn't appeal to me on paper. I was bored tonight and went "eh, why not." First 15 minutes or so was kind of a snooze/didn't like the first song, but once the story got going I found a lot of humor in it, re: kpop band and fangroup tropes. The "big inspiring" finale song was rather typical teen musical fare - eg, most of such films have similar sounding songs - but I did really like the finale demon song. Mostly because it seemed to be taking stabs at the super-fan culture. Plus, Grim Reaper costume animation - good stuff. Anyway, it's a cute film, not super my thing but it made me chuckle and was well made, so I give it a 6.5/10. Oh, also, it wasn't on-screen much, but this Korean painting art influenced tiger/magpie duo was great/hilarious.
  22. TNG S8 is all I wanted and I would have been happy with it. Hell, just 6 episode season and then done would have been all I wanted. Instead I couldn't even finish that first season. What a huge disappointment.
  23. Im really enjoying Knights Tale now I have mitigated the initial frustration with the healing mechanics by understanding how to deal with injuries So I now have upgraded the cathedral and hospice to include more knights certain injuries arent a big deal and I can complete a mission even with them the real solution is to be better at combat and how to use Knights and strategy more effectively to avoid unnecessary damage And Im loving the combat and the different ways to use skills Neocore really delivered on this I like the Morality chart and how your decisions influence the direction you follow. Im going Old Faith and Rightfulness, similar to the path I followed in the two King Arthur RTS games
  24. Only thing is I don't think they'll ever get there. That's not really what Star Trek is traditionally good at* and you'll turn off a decent chunk of your built-in audience. Maybe if it was really, really good they could make it action-drama light sci-fi but it isn't very good which leaves it in this weird place. * I'm a firm believer in that you can tell most any story in Trek clothing but it has to be done well and doing things well is not what NuTrek does well.
