I'm pretty sure he will be held up as a martyr for longer than a year. Also, the Valhalla thing is super weird. This guy is the director of the FBI? The reality is this was a mentally ill person, but instead of focusing resources on mental health, which has been in crisis for decades, people will just attack each other over identity politics. -

For me the the irony, you know beyond Kirk thinking empathy is new age degeneracy, or his belief that shootings like his own are an acceptable consequence for the 2nd amendment, or that he was in the middle of blaming mass shootings on "the gangs" right as he was shot, is that only in death was he able to attain what he had spent his life chasing: widespread attention. And even that is going to be fleeting, Charlie Kirk won't be remembered at all within a year, he wasted his entire life being performativly vile only to leave behind a few "owning the libs" compilations as a legacy. A miserable end for a miserable man. Anyways if Charlie were still here he'd downplay the shooting and float a conspiracy. But **** that guy. -

Don't quote me on this, but I think I read in the news on the Congressional hearings that the incident happened in the Red Sea, off Yemen, where we have had routine drone patrols for quite some time now. Well, actually, this is kinda' where I am too. The Drake Equation shows us that there have to be hundreds of planets out there with intelligent life, and I am quite sure of this myself. But at the same time, the vastness of the universe is such that even with hundreds, even thousands of planets holding intelligent life, the distances between those planets will very likely be so great as to make interstellar travel extremely challenging. But, I also think that even as alien beings may not be visiting us, it is much, much more possible, and likely, that alien robotic craft may be visitng us, i.e., UAPs.

It's foundation. You should all watch foundation. It's mostly good. After you have watched all 3 seasons you will get the reference, which is apt. APT I tell you. -
Nah, if you browse 4chan for like 10 seconds, you'll see that this is what edgy right winger kids write like.

At least some humour. So they said he had "bella ciao" engraved on the casings, among some other stuff that seems less significant. So maybe he was some left winger. -

Why would he be a radical left winger? So far all political assassination (attempts) in the last couple months have been done by radical right wingers. Statistics are not in favor of this.

I felt the same when I first played deadfire after many hundreds of hours in poe1. I wanted 6 characters, the same magic sytem. I disliked that everyone had magic like abillities... it made the more realistic fighters in poe1 seem like super heros along with everyone else. But, after many thousands of hours with deadfire I agree with @Boeroer, the deadfire sytem is much better than poe1 although the story and setting in poe1 were better. I also disliked the characters, how many there were and the strange names... i laughed when your character tells serafen that they can't cope with anymore names... that is exactly how I felt then too. Now though I would give anything for obsidian to re-release poe1 with the deadfire engine. It is now really difficult to go back to poe1.... the old graphics, interface and rules. I don't think you will get the mod you want, the engine and the way it plays can't be made to resemble poe1's

Clover Armor While wearing the full clover set, harvester ants will be passive until provoked, but you also need incense, which is a trinket that calms down nearby ants, and makes you deal double damage to ants, while using any weapon with ant parts if you’re hydrated. Though it also makes you slower when you’re not hungry to the point of reduced stamina. There’s a 2% chance to get it from a red ant(that’s not the soldier version). Also you can freely go through the queen’s room without starting the fight, though you have to be quiet to not arouse suspicion, and you can only go through during night while they sleep. Golden Harvester Ant A very fast ant that’s the size of a red soldier ant, and goes in groups of 7-8 that are escorted by a couple Red Harvester Ants so they can climb grass flowers for grass seeds(their favorite food irl too), and not get hurt. When killed they release a pheromone cloud that makes all other harvester ants go berserk, though agitated golden ants don’t release pheromones. Red Harvester Ant They protect the colony, going on escorts, and staying inside the colony deep within. Dealing the damage of a northern scorpion, though they’re a little faster, and just like in irl they can inflict venom with their stings. They’ll bite, and sting while at low health. Black Harvester Ant Mostly found at the entrance of the nest, they are defense heavy, and you can’t deal stun to them normally. To stun them you have to break their armor with a bratburst or the other throwables in it’s category(this means you can only stun them once). Also, while at lower than 20% health they’ll try exploding next to you, if you kill them while they’re trying to explode, you’ll get black powder (~10-12). Striped Harvester Ant They have a crimson colored body with fading black stripes/patterns, and deal the most damage of all the previous ants. They’re unable to be stunned normally like the Black Harvester Ant, and are slightly slower than the fast Golden Harvester Ant. They also sting you while lower than 25% health just like the red harvester ant, and are the largest too, found super deep within the nest. They can also have wings. Harvester Ant Queen(Boss) To get to the room all you have to do is win a game of Nine Men’s Morris, using ant based pieces. This Boss would throw lobs of venom, order ants to attack different players or allies, and attack viciously. They can leap onto the player to bite then dash backwards, swing their head, rally the ants to defend or attack, lob balls of "ant bread", that has a burning venom in order to splash it everywhere, and they can order more ants to come out of tunnels in the arena. And to prevent cheesing, the player would have building locked, with zones across the arena they have to go to in order to flick levers for disabling some tunnels for a short time, and making the queen take damage. Resources • Golden Mandibles • Razor Mandibles • Striped Mandibles • Golden Abdomen • Plated Abdomen • Striped Abdomen • Red Harvester Stinger • Striped Harvester Stinger • Striped Wings • Striped Head • Golden Chunk • Black Powder Items/Equipment • Razor Arrow, attacks inflict sizzle, and venom, deals high stun, and is stab/smash. Costs 1 red harvester stinger, 3 crow feathers, and 2 sap for 20. • Red Razor Recurve, enemies inflicted with sizzle and/or venom take double damage for 20 seconds after getting hit with this bow. Costs 1 Razor Mandibles, 8 sap, 3 and 4 bug rubber for 1. • Crescent Arrows, these arrows shoot very straight/far, and will make enemies aggressive to everything around them. They cost 5 Golden Chunks, 2 Striped Wings, 1 Golden Mandibles, and 2 weevil meat for 5. The reason for the name is the tip is a pair of mandibles. • Plated Maul, this is in the Club category, and deals 8 stun, but it attacks fast, and charging it will make you spin. It’s dual wield, does 26 damage, and on a 3 hit combo, critical hits are increased to a 50% chance for the next 3 seconds, with an explosion on the final hit as well. Costs 4 Plated Abdomens, 6 Sap, 4 Bombardier Parts, and 20 Black Powder. • Plated Round Helmet, this helmet gives the most toughness out of all other helmets, and when attacked you reflect 25% of all damage. Made with 1 Plated Abdomen, 3 sap, 2 bug rubber, and 10 red harvester ant stingers. • Plated Paldrons, this arm/chest piece gives the most toughness out of all other arm/chest pieces, when attacked you reflect 25% of all damage, and while using your shield, you regenerate health. The set bonus makes you only take 3/4 damage for 10 seconds after getting hit. Made with 8 Plated Abdomens, 5 sap, 8 bug rubber, and 18 red harvester ant stingers. • Plated Greaves, this leg piece gives the most toughness out of all other leg pieces, when attacked you reflect 25% of all damage, and while using your shield you don’t use as much stamina taking hits. Made with 4 Plated Abdomens, 4 sap, 4 bug rubber, and 8 red harvester ant stingers. • Flechette Round, for the auto stinger 2.0, these are made with 10 black powder, 10 striped harvester ant stingers, 4 bug rubber, and 1 crow feather to make 20. Crafted in the Gun Station. • Chemical round, slug for the auto stinger 2.0, these are made big 15 black powder, 4 sap, 10 striped harvester ant stingers, 4 stinkbug parts, and 10 bombardier parts for 20. These rounds inflict sizzle/venom over time, and deal double damage to stunned enemies. Crafted in the Gun Station. • Striped Sickles, these sickles increase nearby ally damage every time you land a crit, by 25% stacking up to 4 times resetting a 20 second timer; though they only have a 10% critical hit chance. They cost 1 Striped Mandibles, 2 striped harvester stingers, 4 sap, and 2 lingonberry leather. • Striped Maul, this fits in the club category, and deals 12 stun, it deals double damage to stunned targets, and this weapon also does sizzle damage. It costs 3 striped mandibles, 1 Striped Head, 4 Striped Abdomens, 8 sap, and 3 Lingonberry leather. • Striped Emblem(Trinket), summons a slightly stronger Striped Harvester Ant to fight for you, but it can also hold things like weed stems; or instead of relocating something normally, you can just put something like a chest on the ant, and you can still use it while on the move. 0.2% chance to get from a Striped Harvester Ant. Food • Roasted Grass Seeds, they fill some hunger, and make you take less damage from ants. Requires 1 grass seed and a spit. • Golden Buffet, this fills all hunger, makes you move faster, and fully heals, but it also makes you take more damage. It Costs 8 Golden Chunks and 2 Roasted Grass Seeds. Requires a Cookery. • Golden Deluxe, this meal fully fills hunger, and prevents all incoming damage for 3 seconds. It costs 5 Golden Chunks, 2 BillyHog bites, and 3 Plated Abdomens. Requires a Cookery. Unique weapon, and unique shield • Auto Stinger 2.0, this is a quad barrel shotgun that deals 128 damage per shot, but takes a long time to reload(6 seconds, with an inspection too), and it causes stab/smash damage. It has a 5% critical hit chance, and the critical hit multiplier is 210%. If you have any bad status effect, you deal 50% more damage(stacks). There are no charged attacks, but shots will always go straight and far. Uses a recipe said below. • Plated Heather Shield, it returns 25% of all damage even while you aren’t blocking, it’s a heavy shield, and it lets you regain all stamina you lost while blocking; though it also makes all damage to nearby allies get transferred to you (reduced by 50%). How to get the unique gear The unique shield and gun recipe are found in the queen’s room, you have to burn down a pile of ant bread to go through a trapdoor. After going through it you’ll find the exit in a maze, and grab the unique shield from skeletons, with the recipe and an optical disk as well(not mission related). The optical disk gives many things like proximity mines, and a Gun Station to build. The Gun Station is used to build the auto stinger 2.0 using 10 striped harvester stingers, 12 crude rope, 2 razor mandibles, 1 striped head, 20 sap, 5 Harvester Queen eggs, 5 silk rope, and 4 plated abdomens. To build the Gun Station you need 5 black powder, 10 sap, 5 silk rope, 2 bombardier parts, 2 stinkbug parts, 8 grass planks, and 10 web fiber. To get the Harvester Queen eggs, you need to get them around the queen’s arena after attacking them with a smash attack to shatter their shells, and they stack to conserve space. Sorry for any improper grammar, and/or confusions! Also, Please tell me anything that feels unbalanced, Thank You!

Random video game news... RNG is your friend!

Dev advice: Don't go fully-on Nanite+Lumen if it doesn't hugely benefit your project. E.g. a comic book-style game that has been "nailed" with technology a couple years ago already. Placing a tenner that if you'd ask 100 people on the streets which is the more recent game in between Borderlands 3 and 4, the hit ratio would be pretty mixed. Unless it's 100 tech enthusiasts, maybe. ALSO: Dishonored (UE3) still remains a more beautiful game than any Borderlands anyway. EVERY FRAME A PAINTING. Sue me, Pitchford! -
Last Judge was incredibly easy compared to Moorwing. Took me less attempts to beat her than trying to get to the boss, lol. Yesterday I've also unlocked the double jump. One thing that kinda pisses me off in act 2 is that... you basically do Path of Pain. But then you are not done, no. Next area you do Path of Pain again. But that's not all! In the next area... guess what, Path of Pain! I'm at a point now where generic mobs don't really bother me much anymore, but instead the environment is just one "sawblade" after another. Anyways. Steam says I'm playing for 40 hours now. It's getting to a point where I will probably take a break due to exhaustion. Based on experience, I can do maybe another 20 hours (so this weekend ) but then it's enough for a year or two. Maybe it's best to take a break anyways, and wait for the inevitable free dlc updates. Despite how cool this game is, I'm not sure if I would have the strength to ever replay it once I'm done with it.

I never watched more than 1 ep of Terminal List, because that show was so damn dark, couldn't see anything. Did they change that in the new one or is it still like that? Also that reminds me, I haven't finished the latest season of Bosch yet either, because for some reason they decided to make sunny LA look like dark Mexico as well... this sucks so much. -

Most people and the general EU\NATO is much more concerned with provocative Russian actions, like sending drones into Poland, that could lead to war with Russia than conflicts in the ME like the Palestinian vs Israeli conflict Sorry to disappoint you, its just the reality of the consequences and its regional EU impact. Its not personal -

See, America, easy to do. -
Yeah, I hear that. I'm at the age where I can't read the fine print. My old college notes look so tiny now I can barely make them out. I have to keep one of those magnifiers with a light handy so I can read things like the prescription labels. Plus I wake up with the eyelashes all gunked up and I have to scrape them clean. Yuck. One current media trend I really don't like is when they display smart phone IM-ing from a distance so that you can barely make out the text. Then they whip the view away before you can finish squinting at it. They should at least display it in close-up. But I suppose the only audience that matters is the sharp-eyed kids.

Good evening everyone! MASSIVE SPOILERS!!!!!! I have been following Obsidian and Grounded since the early release of the first game. I saw promise and enjoyment after playing even the bare bones of it, and I loved watching it evolve to the point it is at now. I see that same potential in Grounded 2. I am constantly impressed by and grateful for the Grounded developers for the amazing game series they've made. Normally, I observe but don't add my own opinion to the discussion, but I see some issues with Grounded 2 that did not exist in Grounded, and I hope they can be addressed. Before I continue, I'd like to point out that these are my own game experiences and my own thought process that may be different from yours when playing the game. 1. Game Progression (Berries) My first time playing through the early access story for Grounded 2, I was playing on Mild with a controller. I had to get a new game system in order to play this version so I didn't want to be blown away by the insects being too challenging while I'm learning the system. That being said, I began the new game and everything was going smoothly until after I had received my buggy and the optical disk for base defenses. From that point forward, the game tells you to choose between two O.R.C Signal points to dismantle (Spoiler: I never did either of them so I don't yet know how they work). I ended up finding that to get to them, you needed to upgrade your equipment to be better suited for the hostile environments: either the gas mask for the haze or the chill armor for the picnic bench. The major problem is that you need berry leather to craft most of this gear. I was left to explore the rest of the map to discover the berry leather I needed. I found the lingonberry leather, but never found the blueberry leather. I ended up discovering the main hideout of the stranger before blueberry leather. If these berries are vital to the progression of the story, I believe they should be more easily available. The story should take us to the berries like it did in Grounded, or the blueberries should have small bushels that pop up around the map. I shouldn't have to find every other interesting landmark in the game because the berries are located only in one spot out of the way. It hurts the surprise factor for other aspects of the game later down the line. I understand that I can always look up online where to find certain things, but it takes the fun and surprise away from the game, and additionally, it is the job of the developers to guide players through their game. If any of this sounded harsh, I honestly do not mean to be; it's just how passionate I am about the game. 2. Game Progression (Stranger Hideout) I mentioned before that I ended up finding the stranger's hideout before finding blueberries, and that created issues of its own. To start, entering the hideout requires you to kill some O.R.C guards, break through dead branches, and navigate some tree branches. Now I went through this whole process without even realizing what I was doing. I had no idea I was entering the final boss lab until I entered the main room and the stranger started talking about how I wasn't ready for this yet. I took that as a challenge. I cleared the rest of the lab with the crimson saber, the ladyguard, the northern shredders, and whatever heals I picked up along the way. I fully defeated the stranger and her pet wolf spider with tier 1 armor and a tier 1 weapon (with another tier 2 weapon and a tier 2 shield). I was disappointed that it was so easy, but I also understand I was playing on Mild. My problem with my progression is that due to a fluke find while looking for blueberries, I skipped the majority of the current story. I don't believe this should be possible. Looking at Grounded, there are progression blockers everywhere that help to keep the game pacing such as the Assistant Manager keycard and Dr. Tully to open the Moldorc lab doors. This is critical for game pacing and allowing for a satisfying conclusion. The fact that there was nothing stopping me from simply entering the stranger's lab and confronting her was disappointing and lackluster because I knew I had just skipped the entire story so far. I believe some sort of progression lock should be added to make sure no one meets the stranger too early. 3. Radials Unrelated to the other issues, I have found that the radials could use some work. The construction radial is just as good as Grounded, so I'm happy there. I do find the blueprints hard to see when in direct sunlight so if we may be able to make them a darker shade of blue, it would help. Additionally, it becomes to difficult to build roofs now that you need to hold the button to cancel blueprints on controller instead of just pressing it like in Grounded. My major issue, though, with Grounded 2 radials is that there isn't a radial for mutation loadouts anymore (at least not for controllers). I've gone into the controller button mapping to see if I just didn't have it mapped, but I couldn't find one. This makes it difficult in combat for when I want to perform my best against different creatures at once. For instance, fighting the stranger and then Bandit after I used two different weapon combos and different mutations, but not having a radial for the fight meant getting hit once or twice just to allot time to switch my mutation loadout. Finally, and this might be a problem I have a solution to, it is difficult to setup my hot bar in the inventory menu because I don't have a hot bar there. I loved the presets in Grounded because I could always have smoothies available even if I ran out of a certain type. In Grounded 2, I can't setup presets because I can only access the hot bar radial by pinning an item to it. Final Notes. I am still going through everything the game has to offer so there may be other items I might want to comment on, but I know fixing at least these issues would make a major improvement to the game. If anyone from the fanbase has solutions to these issues too, especially the radial one, that I don't know about, I'd love to hear it. As I go through the game on Medium difficulty, I'll relay any continuous issues about insect difficulty, game progression, and game mechanics. Thanks for listening to my concerns, it is greatly appreciated to know I am being heard and valued as a longstanding supporter of this game series.

--Watched a short video of a small fishing driving a small tank across the floor for food pellet rewards. Maybe in 20+ years I can have one chauffeur me around when I'm too old to drive. --have been really tired. Where I lay down, and it's super comfy and I feel like I'm going to melt into the couch/bed and pass out/sleep any second, but then I don't, and I may get up again after 10 minutes. But yeah, these bouts of bone/nerve/brain tired. Like I haven't slept for 40 hrs. Even after 8 hrs of sleep. --my vision seems to be getting worse. Hard to read monitors/screens or subtitles at the moment, with or without glasses. They're also super dry/gummy feeling all the time. I guess I gotta see an eye doc. --I feel worn out is all. Bought a reading lamp for my bed because I hate having the full-ceiling room light fixture on, plus I thought I'd try reading books again (vs. screen glare). The lamp works great, but every time I try to read a book, it's a little blurry and after some minutes of holding the book and squinting, I become bone tired and fall asleep.
