Yeah, you can ask Kennedy how he feels about that. A guy with a plan is going to trump a security guard every time.

Unless you really ramp up and who is going to pay for that.

Na na  na na  na na  ...

greg358 from Darksouls 3 PVP is a CHEATER.

That is all.

True dat. I 100% agree that it will be impossible to remove murder from society.

Whos going to pay? I dunno. Maybe they could trot out all those "grieving" children they keep showing on TV and bringing to various government buildings. That would make for an excellent fund raiser. Bus them around the country, perhaps some televised events...oooooh, maybe a convention! What could we call it? Evilguncon? Nah. Gunbadacon? A little better but doesn't really roll off the tongue does it? PewPewbegoneacon?

I think arming teachers would increase school shootings a helluva lot more. These are people who teach/babysit other people's kids 40+ hours a week without the pay a babysitter gets and without the limits of how many one is supposed to handle at one time....

Yeah.. let's give them guns with the monsters we are forced to dump off onto them.

From the way the VP of the NRA is talking, socialism is to blame for the school shootings because all I'm hearing from him is "Socialism! Socialism! Socialism!" Of course though, he is talking at the conservative PAC, also the usual NRA propoganda.

I'm surprised he didn't also blame atheism/godlessness and lack of a traditional family structure

Weirdest suggestion I've heard so far was enlisting veterans to guard schools. Because veterans are special or something ?

It's a good idea, particularly the ones with ptsd who can't keep a stable job.

The thinking probably goes: "They are trained in the use of weapons and have faced warfare..."

Yeah but that doesn't translate well to being a peace officer, so you'd have to train them regardless in that aspect (in theory..). Might as well just use more cops. Not to mention not all veterans are suitable for such tasks to begin with (as much as people worship a uniform), so it doesn't seem all that special when considering the larger pool of people to draw on.

Apparently the Broward County cops will be packing AR-15s in schools - http://abcnews.go.com/US/deadly-parkland-shooting-deputies-now-carry-ar-15/story?id=53258747 I guess they anticipate armoured attackers?

They have military training? Suggesting pole dancers would be wierd, but actual military guys? It's like a natural choice.

Soldiers are used to working with intel. Having glorified security guards with a license to kill put into situations where they have to act fast. Just seems like it's escalating things. Never mind the ptsd.

I like the pole dancer idea

This might help with the male truancy problem!

Yes, let us honor our veterans by giving them low paying yard duty jobs at the huge number of schools we have across the country. *skeptical*

The President is suggesting gratuitous violence and such in movies, TV, & Video Games play a big role in mass shootings. He is suggesting a "rating system" on these forms of entertainment.  https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-maybe-they-have-to-put-a-rating-system-on-movies/

Rating system huh? Hmm.... should we tell him or just let him keep talking?

That's Arkan dude, and red/ blue/white horizontal stripes is definitively the Serb flag. He's close to the most infamous paramilitary leader

I corrected your post ..I assume thats what you meant?

Arkan was  one of the most  reviled and brutal of the Serbian paramilitaries, he was indicted by the UN for crimes against humanity after the but  avoided being captured and tried at the Hague until he was assassinated in 2000. At the time he was also one of the most notorious crime lords in the region

My brother and sister in law both have concealed carry permits and have never been shot at. Coincidence?

I don't actually know anyone who has ever been shot at. Coincidence?
