ShadySands Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 LOL Trying not to correct the rank.... Sergeant Major according to the picture. In the Marine Corps it is improper to call ( or shorten) any rank above Sergeant (E-5) a Sergeant Sorry, I couldn't help it. Blame the brainwashing 1 Free games updated 3/4/21
Raithe Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 It's all about the moral of the story, not the accuracy of the picture.. It might not be funny, but damn it all, it's still glorious.. 3 "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."
ShadySands Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I thought it was good It's just one of those things, I dunno if there is a name for it, where over familiarity with a thing can sometimes make it hard to overlook errors regarding that thing. No matter how small or inconsequential they may be and not at all relevant to the point being made. Anyways, now that I've ruined it I'll just shut up now Free games updated 3/4/21

No matter how small or inconsequential they may be and not at all relevant to the point being made. Anyways, now that I've ruined it I'll just shut up now I would have been forced to point it out if you hadn't. No harm, no foul anyway. I'm sure the photo doesn't match the story, which was likely made up. It's not brainwashing, it's rank and respect and propriety. Damn funny joke, no matter what. 2 All Stop. On Screen.

Nepenthe Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 In my experience, they leave the mosquitos alone and scare the bejesus out of my mom by hanging in the closet at our country place. You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that? Reapercussions
Gorgon Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 The trick is to let a few of them have their way. The size and inflammation around the bites will decrease as your body gets used to it. Assuming you live somewhere where they don't carry diseases. The really insufferable part is the noise. Ohh and don't smack them while they are about to bite. Might make them vomit much more into the bite. Na na na na na na ... greg358 from Darksouls 3 PVP is a CHEATER. That is all.
Gfted1 Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I recently read an article on mosquitos. Turns out if you have an O type blood they love feasting on you, and if you have an A type blood they don't like it. 1 "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"

Could you do it as well as this man? Quote “Political philosophers have often pointed out that in wartime, the citizen, the male citizen at least, loses one of his most basic rights, his right to life; and this has been true ever since the French Revolution and the invention of conscription, now an almost universally accepted principle. But these same philosophers have rarely noted that the citizen in question simultaneously loses another right, one just as basic and perhaps even more vital for his conception of himself as a civilized human being: the right not to kill.” -Jonathan Littell <<Les Bienveillantes>> Quote "The chancellor, the late chancellor, was only partly correct. He was obsolete. But so is the State, the entity he worshipped. Any state, entity, or ideology becomes obsolete when it stockpiles the wrong weapons: when it captures territories, but not minds; when it enslaves millions, but convinces nobody. When it is naked, yet puts on armor and calls it faith, while in the Eyes of God it has no faith at all. Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of Man...that state is obsolete." -Rod Serling
