What are you playing now?

Still playing Psychonauts. Gotta take some pauses between levels, finding it a bit, uhm.. chore-ish. Maybe I'm too hung up on collecting figments. The humour is good, though, and I like the art direction.

Bought S.T.A.L.K.E.R. on Steam. Knew almost nothing about it, except that its development time was huge, and that it was sorta a free-roaming FPS. It's okay, haven't got far. First thing I had to do, was to remove the headbobbing. Man, that was frickin' annoying.

Also been playing BF: Vietnam with a friend. Fun game. Nice music.

Diablo II

"Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

The new trailer for Stalker Clear Sky looks AMAZING. The lighting and other features look superb.

Fallout 2 is complete - my loyal team of Vic, Miria, and Cassidy -aided by some turncoats and the cracked turrets- easily beat the final boss. Now on to another game - maybe I'll give Culpa Innata another go... :shifty:

I'm playing the Quest for the Returning Frost Darts, again. Party so far:

Von Bek, Human Fighter 4/Wizard?

Aleska, Aasimar Battleguard of Tempus

Iluveth, Half Elf Rogue 1/Diviner x

Harroukh, Half Orc Barbarian 1/Druid x

It's a non-powergamer party, obviously. I'm digging a Michael Moorcock novel right now, so I'm building a roleplaying party around the idea of the Eternal Champion in Abeir-Toril, albeit without the black sword(lol cheese). He meets a curious sort of guy in Luskan - the fellow believes himself the avatar of Gruumsh and, going by the amount of mayhem he singularly caused to be exiled by every community on the way from Crags to Sword Coast, he might just be correct. I plan on letting my characters muck encounters, so I didn't min max that much, with the exception of the token thief/mage, who's mostly a living fountain of skill points. I've never tried specialist wizards, so she'll be interesting to work on. The party is actually built around classes, races and combinations I've so far skipped(with the exception of my resident incarnation of the intelligent fighter-leader) - I'm going to add a deep gnome monk(yes, cheese) later, once the multiclasses have started to stand on their own, and, just perhaps, an insane wild elf sorcerer. For who doesn't love a guy who glasses continents out of sheer whim?

I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden.

It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai.

I'm playing quite a few titles right now, given that it's summer.

JA2 - I just took my third city, the one with the hospital, so I'm filled to the brim with med kits. I have two squads running concurrently.

GTA IV - I just killed some guy and managed to get his very sweet pad. I've decided to shamelessly start using cheats for better cars and armor boosts, I wasn't enjoying the game with how often I died on missions.

Diablo 2 - I'm cheating at this one too, and just running through the first act. I really just want to play it to get a feel for the storyline, I'm not interested in challenging myself at all

LotR Online - I'm almost level 43 with my captain. I'm exploring Angmar and the frozen Forechel. It's beautiful.

I died! I was fighting the last batch of Baal's minions, they killed my helper than they surrounded me and I died. I'm too awesome to die! :) Good thing I had my other set of uber armor and weapons back at my stash. I took out my frustrations on Baal. I forgot what a son of a bitch he is to kill. Damn knock back damage he does. Kicked his ass and won normal mode, onto Nightmare.

Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.

Replaying Fallout 1 and just finished the Glow, which for some reason I haven't done my most recent playthroughs. Had kinda forgotten how great the atmosphere there is, one of the greatest dungeons (if it can be called that) I know of. The atmosphere is spooky, and generally spectacular. And hey, I remembered to pack my anti-rads to!

Still remember the very first time I went there, dying of radiation after playing chess with Zax.

American McGee's Alice - great game, I'm looking forward to his American McGee's Grimm and, if it ever gets made, a remake of Alice and/or the game inspired film.

Currently playing Persona 3 on PS2.

With the whole social links stuff, I'd really like to see a Vampire: The Requiem game like this. No epic storylines or prophecies, just a fresh kindred trying to find their place in this new world, with a focus on the social and political aspect. Keep the TB combat but ditch the random dungeon crawling and replace it with actual missions. Party members would depend on which covenant the mission is for and the allies you've made within it. Set it over a year like P3, with different activities to choose from each night. Activities pass the time so accepting one will see you Do you attend the Circle on the Crone meeting you were invited to, perform a menial task for the Invictus member who seems to have taken a shine to you, or just go hang out with the unaligned? Activities with the different groups would see you risk in the ranks with that covenant. Successful missions would give a large rise in rank. The high rank in one covenant would see your rank lower in another.

Of course it'll never happen.
