Trump has openly promised that we won't have to ever vote again if he wins, as he'll fix subsequent elections. I must confess, not having to care and be anxious about politics every two and especially every four years is certainly appealing...

Heh, the internet is full of it. Finally showing his true colours and why Putin and Xi are his idols... finally doing away with that pesky democracy is going to be what his supporters are voting for.

Showing his true lack of class with his "taking a bullet for democracy" statement. Besides lacking class, also lacking in truth. The only one who took a bullet for "democracy" was the maga cultist that got killed, all trump did was finally getting within earshot of a disagreeing Republican.

Thanks for the wisdom, Mr. G. I think we should elect that guy, he's clearly aware of the dangers of authoritarianism!

Another " free and fair " election in Venezuela and the continuation of Maduros failed socialist government where only elites like Maduro will continue to live a life of luxury while the rest of the country lives in poverty and  squalor

But at least Maduro can stand on a podium and remind everyone " he is fighting US\Western imperialism "

Im not surprised by the assassination of Hamas leaders, thats a given if you understand how Israel responds to the killing of  its citizens.

Im just surprised they were able to do it within the borders of Iran. Its been  a while since we have seen Israel do that within Iran

Interesting prisoner swop between the US and Russia. Its a skewed swop because the Russians being released are murderers and real criminals and the Americans were basically journalists tried and sentenced in Russian kangaroo courts but at least people like Paul Whelan will finally get home back to the US

Decent trade, I guess. Russian spies and assassins are free but I suppose that's not a huge deal.  Trump denounced it as the worst deal ever, yet ?

Tim Walz, Minnesota's and my governor, is reportedly Harris' pick for Vice President. Very pleased (and surprised!) that he was the choice.

I'm honestly shocked that the dems have done something smart. Gotta say I was expecting they would have gone with Shapiro, whose support for vouchers alone could probably tank all of the enthusiasm generated by benching Joe.

I say this completely unironically, as a state chanpion high school football coach and a veteran with a dui Walz may actually make Texas competitive. Also as a rural non-ivy league blue collar guy he makes a good contrast to the furniture fornicating Thiel goblin JD Vance.

I had never even heard of Walz until this nomination but thats normal for someone who hasn't  been in the typical media limelight and what the international media  focuses on

He seems like a good choice and I look forward to his VP debate with Vance, he should win that one comfortably
