Malcador
Reviews for CK3 are all pretty good - IGN gave it 10/10, PCG gave it 94, etc. 1 Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra

Lexx
Alpha Protocol is the reason why I stopped reading any game reviews. Funny how the game was completely trashed by the american media, while the european media praised it. Sure it had its flaws and lots of issues, but it was still a fun game. Played through it 7+ times back in the release days, because you could do so many things differently and the ending completely changes. /Edit: And it made me furious when one year later, the same people who excessively trashed the game, suddenly came around and posted articles like "hey.. actually this game isn't so bad after all" ... F* these people, really. Edited September 7, 2020 by Lexx 5 "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die." I have fond memories of this game, but when I played it for the first time before PoE1 release I quit-raged quite a lot.

Not necessarily the best comparison when you compare your first reaction to that of reviewers when the game had just released / was about to release. There seems to be 5 years between that. That can be quite important. Unobtrusively informing you about my new ebook (which you should feel free to read and shower with praise).

Keyrock
$300 is an attractive price point. Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L.
