On GOG I bought ;
- Torchlight 1.
- Torchlight 2.
- Mars: War Logs.
- The Technomancer.

 On Steam I bought ;
- Encased. (Early Access)
- Starpoint Gemini 3. (Early Access)
- Underrail and it's Expedition DLC.

Underrail is on GoG as well,  shame on you!

I'm the enemy, 'cause I like to think, I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech, and freedom of choice. I'm the kinda guy that likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder, "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecue ribs with the side-order of gravy fries?" I want high cholesterol! I wanna eat bacon, and butter, and buckets of cheese, okay?! I wanna smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section! I wanna run naked through the street, with green Jell-O all over my body, reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly may feel the need to, okay, pal? I've SEEN the future. Do you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sitting around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake, singing "I'm an Oscar Meyer Wiene"

You can get your pitchfork and torch ready Chilloutman, to chase a wolf (me) if you want to. 😉

Joking aside, I already own Underrail on GOG, just have not gotten the Expedition DLC for it yet.

I been meaning to, so I will be doing that today. I did want to buy it last night but I totally forgot to.

Disco Elysium. Haven't seen word o'mouth this strong for I dunno how long. This is going to make not playing until sufficiently patched so much easier. 😑

I scooped up Resident Evil Revelations 2 during the Steam Halloween Sale for some properly spoopy October gaming.

I nabbed Lust for Darkness and Agony in a sale bundle on Steam (for about half what one of the individual games goes for normally)

Agony's take on Hell rather intrigued me when a video was posted around here when the KS happened (afair this didn't have any of the nudity and stuff, just the level design). The game appears to not have been able to live up to the hype, gameplay wise, so it's always been on my "maaaaaybe if it's really cheap", so here we go ;)

Lust for Darkness similarly has an interesting aesthetic and mature theme and while the main plot is apparently rather predictable the backstory is supposed to be interesting.

I just picked up The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition, The Evil Within 2,  Avadon 3 The Warborn and BloodLust 2: Nemesis (game's still in Early Access) during the Steam Halloween Sale. I already own Witcher 3 on GOG, but I grabbed it so I have it on Steam too.

- [ NEW EDIT ] :

Today I just grabbed the Godfather, Volatile Hunter, Gun Psycho, Harran Ranger and White Death DLC Bundles to go with Dying Light.

Latest acquisition was Code Vein. Not quite sure what to think about it yet. Controls feels a bit awkward. Like having to push multiple buttons on the right hand side of the controller when changing codes. I only have two hands dammit 😖

(edit: and one of those hands sits on an arm mounted on my left shoulder, not two hands on the right side arm)

Nier: Automata felt so much more user friendly and easy to control by comparison.

The biggest issue I had with the controls was accidentally pressing diagonally down and right or left when I tried to press down on the d-pad to use my regen and the game scrolling to a different item rather than healing. That's on me, not the game, though. Using gifts was weird at first since you gotta hold down a trigger and press a button, but I got used to it and it became second nature. I try to map all the gifts that I actively use during battle to the face buttons and buffs and such that I usually only use before or at the start of a battle to the d-pad, that way I don't have to take my thumb off the left stick as much in the heat of battle.

If you don't mind, pop on over to the screenies thread and show us your Revenant. ;)

I bought Brukel on Steam, it's basically a walking simulator about the experiences of the developer's grandmother during the second world war, narrated by said grandmother.

This one might hurt. My grandparents never, ever, spoke about the war(s). Everything I know about their experiences (and those of my great-grandparents) I learned through my parents.

The Outer Worlds. I'm unlikely to play it right now, but I wanted to support the developers after the news about PoE3.
Also I am worried that the future patches may alter the experience and EGS does not force to download updates, unlike Steam (at least, The Witness and Celeste have not tried to do it yet).

I just bought Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order [deluxe edition] on Origin.com. I was just waiting to see what reviewers said this was about first, so I could get a better understanding about what type of game it was before I grabbed it. After that I did not regret buying this game one bit, this has been a blast to play. I been wanting a good Star Wars RPG for a while and this hits the spot perfectly.

So what does it compare to? Seeing Uncharted and Dark Souls comparisons, so guess it's not a spiritual successor to Dark Forces, which is a bit of a disappointment to me (seeing health bars etc, also was such, to be frank)

It's a mix of Uncharted with the exploring islands / planets and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, with you having to break your foe's parry before you can do any real damage to them. I don't think it's a spiritual successor Dark Forces, at least to me it does not seem to be.

Today I went to GoG and finally got around to buying FO:NV, Grim Dawn/expansions (supposedly saves port over), War for the Overlord Ultimate and anything else I could find that I potentially might care about (not a lot of them), that I originally bought on Steam. Busy downloading it all.  I want to get back to where I only have a few games that need Steam, at any one time, and a tiny game list (will request many never-will-play games to be removed from Steam Library). Easy to do when you hardly buy new games anymore. But there are always those several favorites. If only FFXV and Borderlands series would come to GoG, I could get rid of Steam altogether. Yeah, not gonna happen in my lifetime.  :lol:
