  1. Resolve, Intellect and Perception show up a lot. That said, Resolve and Intellect often give you a pair of largely identical (but mutually exclusive) choices - so if you just have one of those maxed, you'll be fine.
  2. At what point? Without spoiling it, is it driven by our relationship or is there a physical locale? There is no "without spoiling it." Keep playing. You'll get there.
  3. You don't need higher than 10, once you factor in the gloves from the Endless Paths.
  4. That's correct. Gift from the Machine will give you Cruel disposition, though.
  5. Honestly, you should decide based less on Rapiers vs. Spears, and more based on what other 1h weapons are grouped with them under Weapon Focus. Noble gets you Rapiers alongside Maces (DR penetration is slick) and Daggers (ehhhh). Peasant gets you Spears and Hatchets (uniquely good for increasing your durability). If you think you'll need DR penetration, go for Noble. If you think you'll need extra defense, go for Hatchets. On the magic item front, spears are better off than rapiers, and maces are better off than hatchets. Personally, I'd go for spears.
  6. The main issue with the Larder Door is that you can't upgrade it as a weapon, so it falls badly behind in terms of accuracy and damage. Really, Bash should be a talent, and Fine/Exceptional/Superior shields should gain normal weapon benefits to damage.
  7. Paladins make for the best 100% pure damage-sink tanks, due to their strong Defenses. Anything else, bring a monk.
  8. 120+ on a deflection tank, so that just about everything misses you. Maybe 90+ on a retaliation tank, so that opponents still graze you but rarely hit.
  9. This is awesome. I'll see if I can pull together my Legalist barbarian idea in a similar format later today. I figure she can be part of an old Crucible Knight family.
  10. Oh no, you lost 24 hours in a game with no time limits.
  11. External principles or laws haven't had much to do with Lawful alignment since this take was established during Planescape. As for good,
  12. But until the Eastern Barbican is repaired, you can't get to any of the ones past Caed Nua. Which is why you have to wait in the first place.
  13. But you may have already explored all of those maps.
  14. Only way to know is to test it via frame by frame analysis. I'm not even clear that Animat Plate is an item that's actually accessible in game.
  15. That sounds more like a Peasant weapon to me. Peasant is already a scary-good weapon class, man. It doesn't need any buffs. (I am only half-joking. Hatchet and Spear is a fantastic pairing for a shield fighter.)
  16. Or xaurip champions spamming Lay Hands. auuuuuugh
  17. Just so long as we get warscythes on Adventurer. LETSGO You've already got Estoc/Poleaxe, what more could you want? Warscythes.
  18. Grieving Mother is most certainly a "good" person. Her alignment would probably be Neutral Good in D&D.
  19. The idea is that you sit there for a couple of days because you can't move on until it's done. But it would be irritating to make you actually wait out the days, so time instantly advances.
  20. you receive 100% of my lulz, fine sir You shut your mouth, this is a JOKE THREAD! A JOKE THREAD, YOU HEAR ME?
  21. Personally, I think it's a damn shame that Pillars doesn't use anything like the 2da file type. That made certain forms of simple modding much easier. I don't think that's what the OP is saying, so much as they're complaining about the fact that they will need to buy Unity if they want to do serious modding.
  22. Just so long as we get warscythes on Adventurer. LETSGO
