  1. How is it that only the corrupt would listen to her? Most of what she said was true and as far as morals go, she was always very logical about it all.
  2. Its the same as when it gets destroyed in battle, I guess. Bao-Dur just puts it back together. It apparently takes a lot to destroy the droids personality core (or whatever its called).
  3. You have really, really bad luck.
  4. If you do every sidequest and explore everywhere and make sure to always stick it to the exchange, they should contact you. The list of things to do is long, so check a walkthrough. You can also talk to this one guy in the Cantina and pay him to get them to contact you.
  5. Correct. Lightsiders don't regen there.
  6. Go to another planet. You'll get a cue when to come back.
  7. I thought cutting someones power was a reference to Revan? Anyway, Kreia was proud of Revan and happy that he/she only sought guidance from Kreia in the end. She was happy that Revan defeated the Mandalorians, and when I asked 'But why do you think he fell to the Dark side?" "Fell? What if he was just doing what he wanted to? There's no fall in that, just freedom."
  8. Yea, most people who complain that the ending doesn't resolve most things simply didn't find the explanations in game or aren't willing to think things through themselves. I can only think of one thing that wasn't explained or had a logical conclusion that didn't need to be explained, because it was logical (and this is Mira following you, and somehow getting back to the ship? That part doesn't make sense, though maybe she ran from those jedi who bowed and let you enter. But that's hoaky) My complaints were never about that. My complaints were that the ending we found vestigial traces of was much more powerful and I found it immensly more interesting. I so love tragic endings and suffering.
  9. Not bad, but you might want to put the 12 in Int instead, to up your skills. Frankly, you will be using your powers to the extent so that the +1 melee is minute. I did it with Jedi Master and had no problems other than the tournament style sidequest fights, but I even beat those after a few tries. You find a lot of items to increase both. However, my wisdom was higher than my Charisma at the end, and I was focusing on charisma, but most items that increase charisma do the same for wisdom, except have a higher raise for wisdom. For skills, Treat Injury, Persuade and Repair. This allows you to make some u seful items, increase droid capibilities, and it increases the power of your healing. Persuade is critical for a consular, as well, since that is the way (I believe) the class is meant to be played. There are some areas with repeating spawns, but I don't remember them. Dark side powers SHOULD work well with a high charisma, since that's what it says, but I've never tested this. You can still fight very well with a lightsaber, but the idea of a Jedi Consular/Master with dark side powers is frightening. I could cast all of my buffs and heals and my mana would barely be touched before it recovered because of light saber styles. I was powerful, and I had more mana than a dozen jedi's combined. I could stasis even Nihilus and Sion.
  10. Why? It certainly sounds good enough. The fact that you can get actual words by playing it backwards is just a nice bonus for those who felt like doing a little extra work. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Too high expectations. I've always been a big fan of the Sith and their beliefs. So, naturally I expected the True Sith to be something out of this world in terms of power, appereance, and knowledge. I guess I just find the whole "speaking backwards in English language" idea pretty dumb. However, I'll just hope there's some really good reason for it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Gotcha. I'd never really thought much about the True Sith, so my thought process more or less stopped at, "Hey, that sounds damn cool." <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought it was sort of a nifty allusion to all the claims of 'play the beatles/chicago/etc. backwards and hear praises to Satan!' Not that I ever saw the big deal. There are lots of bands you can play foward to hear praises to Satan! Much easier, if you ask me.
  11. I had finished all the Ithorian quest before I went to the office. I saw these people there.
  12. You can put in 18 at start, and just pump points into it. By the end of the game, you should have a natural of 22-24. You can increase it by about 8 if you focus on it with items. Another six with light mastery in Jedi Consular and Jedi Master (or just +3 if you only master one) I personally had 36 wisdom at the end, with all my items and Jedi Consuloar/Master light mastery. I also had about 30 charisma. I could use stasis field on Sion and Nihilus. However, the monster attacking hte gate in Onderon and hte last boss seem to be immune.
  13. I found that most people forget to tell the TSF guy once they see him. You need to talk to that guy for them to actually appear down there. So, go to Czerka officies, see them, talk to the guy who gave you the quest and tell him they are heading for the restoration zone, and when you get there they should bhe the second mercenary group you see.
  14. If Bastilla became pregnant, she'd be expelled by the Jedi Council.
  15. You mean there were people who were actually surprised at being Revan?
  16. Unfortunately, I can't put up the mp3 because my host doesn't allow mp3 files... that's why I converted them to windows media. If you download the mac version of the windows media player, I'm guessing it should play fine. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Winamp can also play WMP files. You should have winamp.
  17. Oh, blow it out your ass! Just because you can't seem to find anything else to play on the XBox, doesn't justify the above rant. Don't preach to me about how I should be overjoyed that Obsidian released K2 on the XBox. Personally, I have a library of XBox titles I would rather play than this unfinished excuse for a game. Look, if you want to get down on your bleeding knees and worship Obsidian that?s fine with me, just do it without rubbing my, and everyone else?s noses in it, you silly little git. As for the topic at hand, I really don't care what the the dev ment to say, the fact remains there will be no patch for the PC and no DLC for the Xbox. Basicly we are all screwed. Cheers! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A library of Xbox games? Sad. I have Shenmue, Morrowind, KOTOR 1 +2 ...and that's it. Xbox is full of kiddie action games.......sooooooo boring. The only reason I got one was for KOTOR. I'm not some kid you friggin loser. Some of the poeple whinging here have really lost perspective. I'd rather play a good but buggy game like this than some boring chore like Halo 2, or a nicew looking but go nowhere RPG like Fable. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You make RPG fans sound suck. You should cease to exist.
  18. I actually like the idea of a female Revan better than male, however, I originally played as male, so Revan will always be 'he' in my eyes.
  19. This is because that Jedi Master is supporting the Queen. When you spearpoint a Sith/Vaklu invasion, he attacks you. You don't get dark points because you don't know you are doing evil til its done.
  20. I've found Jedi Consular/Jedi Knight is one of the strongest combos, even though I went with Jedi Master. This gives you all the powers you've earned as a consular, as well as hte weapon skills of a warrior. Nice stuff.
  21. Dude, X Box has a few good games. Almost a whole handful! I mean, there's Steel Battalion. And KotOR (though the PC versions are better of each, of course). Gunvalkyrie, Crimson Sea, Chronicles of Riddick (again, better on PC) and the first Buffy game are all good. Sure, outside of action games, there's not much. However, for those without gaming PCs (heathens), its the only way to play KotOR, Morrowind, and Arx Fatalis, some of the best RPGs ever. Deffinitely the best ever on consoles.
  22. Yes, I agree. Still, he was arrogant and should be slapped for unsettling the Tan. Maybe even twice!
  23. AH WHAT?! I didn't even know! Thanks for the info! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Your story would have been a good explanation if you couldn't do that, though
  24. Am I the only one who understood virtually all of it the first time through? I agree it would have been a hundred times better if they had more time to put that stuff in (if they still intended to), but I never really felt lost. The only thing that I didn't see an explanation for is Mira. She's behind you, but she is supposedly looking foward to a good future, despite the fact that the last time you see her she is entering the academy? The ship was already gone by then, so that confuses me a bit. EDIT: Oh, and rather his statement was true or false, I find it arrogant. I do think it is far better than the first though, but arrogance still annoys me.
  25. You realize you can change your party almost anywhere but a few pure combat dungeons, right? Just click the three head icon top right of screen. You can generally do it in the city grounds as well as wherever you dock, plus a lot of combat oriented areas.
