  1. Kavar: "The last Jedi conclave was on Katarr, a Miraluka colony. And all of Katarr was destroyed, all of the Jedi killed..." Vrook: "Including Master Zhar... Master Vandar..." Get over it. He's gone. Don't give any crap about him "not confirmed dead".
  2. No, no, no. I don't mean Kreia's. I mean the cut content. Using the KOTOR Tool.
  3. The ending did seem weird. <_< After the gamer talks to Kreia, you get the low-down on what happens to the crew. She talks about the fate of your crew in completion. Truthfully, I thought the game was complete, and all it needed were a few tweaks here or there. :"> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ah, but she threw you a little thing at the beginning, "IF they leave this place...". Plus, the endings were much more interesting then listening to Kreia tell us. Word of suggestion: read the dlg trees and then come back to us. I can almost guarantee a change of opinion.
  4. From Chris Avellone: In the end, I do wish there had been more time and I wished I had had more time to work on the end game, and that was my fault. We did get a lot accomplished in the time we had, and I probably should have cut another planet (the droid planet got the axe). I still think it's a good RPG, we probably should have just made it shorter.. So, I'm not sure if what he means by cutting another planet so they'd have more time to work on the end game or simply the game was too long. Though poor Chris seems to be taking the blame for Lucasarts wanting a Christmas release. I remember starting one with the content from the Jek'Jek Tarr and Gotos Yacht. I'll go fish for it. Found it: Jek'Jek Tarr -Find the Gand Quest - A sullustan in the Gand section of the Jek'Jek Tarr: find the name of a great Gand warrior. Options were to lie to the Sullustan, find the Gand (with a high awareness) and then refuse to tell the sullustan due to the Gands request or tell the sullustan anyway. -Spa Treatment at the Jek'Jek Tarr - The twi'leks were supposed to be like the twi'lek slaves at Davik's estate and offer steam baths and massages. -Environment suit stays on - The play would have the option to leave the environment suit on when speaking with Visquis. Judging by the dialog, Mira wasn't supposed to attack the Exile. This exchange was moved to the arena to replace the Geno'Haradan. Visquis later would be able to capture the Exile and order the Ubese to take him to Goto. -Magic Eight Ball? - In the Jek'Jek Tarr, there was to be a Weequay who had an orb where you can ask questions. -Mira's escape from the Jek'Jek Tarr - Instead of the Exile killing Visquis, it would be a party member and then Mira would lead them out of the Jek'Jek Tarr into her safehouse. Also, Mira was to be held in some cell in which she says that Visquis will execute her, and where the party member would also rescue her. This is a very weirdly arranged scene. -Dessicus of the GenoHaradan - Obviously, the GenoHaradan would be the organization beneath the Jek'Jek Tarr. -Kreia (speaking to Hanharr about another life debt): The screams of your tribe of primitives, the scene of lying blinded with the huntresses' blaster at your skull, I shall make it so that is all you hear and see for the rest of your days. Goto Yacht -Threatning Goto - When stumbling upon the control center, the player threatens to use a certain skill to dismantle his vessel, however, Goto says that his droids will just turn off the oxygen. -Gotos Orders - Goto will command his droids not only to activate the mines but raise the force shield, poison them and deploy guard droids. And finally, Goto notices the bounty hunters on his ship and gives the self-destruct order. -Geno'Haradan are none of the bounty hunters concern - One of the Zhug brothers will mention that the Geno are also after the Exile during their meeting with Goto and so Goto commands them to ignore them and that they aren't any concern. See above. See above.
  5. Oh, yeah...Forgot about the whole permission thing. Of course that would be the only thing standing in the way of rewriting canon.
  6. By the Battle of Endor, little to no of the troopers that were cloned from Jango's DNA were alive or present in the army.
  7. True. But still, an author could just go ahead and re-canonize it himself. But until, and if someone does, Exile is LSF and Revan is LSM.
  8. that will be too big....be side you cant have al the planet in the game i think it will be like 5-6 planet if we are lucky maybe more.to choose a time zone will gett you of the point of being in the old republic(like your going to fight jedi in the old time of star wars not in the new time like in the movie.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He means different times of the day. Simply, an internal clock. Meaning if you want to start at dawn you can or dusk or whatever. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Problem is, not all planets run on the same time zone.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Obviously. But give each world it's own clock and it'll do fine. Like the world you start on will correspond with your own clock while the rest of the worlds you visit will just be set to random times.
  9. Maybe. Maybe not. But the question remains. Why would a girl born to Mandalorians be a slave? She can't remember her home world but she was pretty sure that she was a slave. Unless a Mandalorian decided to knock her mother up and they hoped to hide the embarrassment but that seems a little too similar to the Handmaidens story.
  10. This is up for speculation. It's really is up to the author of the comic or novel if they make the Exile/Revan what the guide books say. If the author decides to make Revan DS/F then it will override the guide book and thus Revan would be canon a dark side female. And considering current events in the KOTOR comic series, Zayne wouldn't be the Exile even if the Exile was male. Zayne is a renegade Jedi now on the run, hunting down the members of the Jedi who sat on the Taris council.

  12. Nope. The Exile is in a different area of the Trayus Academy.
  13. Cut content. I just edited it so it's more clear on that.
  14. I'm not sure what you want...the most I can give you is that .7b1 will contain the Malachor endings. That's as much as I know. There really isn't anything to give news on. Work goes on as usual. Life gets in the way, etc, etc.
  15. Definitly not. The Empire was the supreme dominant force in the galaxy. The Empire would basically ignore all of Manaans neutrality laws and take it over at Order 66 resulting in any jedi being killed.
  16. No, actually...Obsidian got away with using the KOTOR I faces for Xbox and for the dead miners in the kolto tanks. Shouldn't be any problems.
  17. Her Mandalorian clan did. But her biological family was killed by the Mandalorians. I love how people skip dialog. "If the Exile has come then she has not come alone..." Apparently, the Exile thought bringing Mira along would help even without the cut-stories.
  18. Uhh...someone didn't watch ROTJ apparently.
  19. Actually the intelligence needs to be 15.
  20. Well the game was rushed and didn't Bioware do the same thing with K1 also? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually the PC clothing was all unique. Scout, scoundrel and soldiers had completely different clothing from the rest of the commoners and such.
  21. Only movies are absolutely canon. I'm just happy that Plo Koon was killed like other ones. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You cannot say the movies are absolutely canon, all of the EU have to be approved by the GL himself so they are canon also. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not exactly...movies are G canon and override anything that may have happened in the comics, novels, games, etc. While comics, games and books are C canon. So, yes EU is canon but not on the same level as the movies.
  22. *sigh* Wrong. The HK Factory and M4-78 were completley different. Neither one was conjoined. The HK factory was on TELOS in the Sub-level.
  23. Possibly but the problem is that people don't always back up their saves or even have the game installed so the game wouldn't know what to look for. Therefore, there leaves three methods. One is to leave them out completley, the second, dialog trees which describe them. And third, character selection screens.
  24. Bingo. Whoever is telling you these lies, please stop listening to them for all of our sakes.
