  1. I got a 6-man 5-man custom party I'm planning to do the entire game with, on POTD of course I'd be grateful if anyone could critique the builds, point out obvious mistakes or suggest better choices, etc. Not that I intended the party to be the best custom party ever or anything like that, but I built it based off the state of the game back before any of the DLC came out, so I'm curious if anything I chose has since been nerfed into the ground, or if there's better options, etc. Anyway, here it is [1: The Watcher] -=-Class: Warlock [Devoted/Enchanter] -=-Roles: melee damage -=-Race: Human (+1 MIG, +1 RES) -=-Culture: Rauatai (+1 CON) -=-Attributes: MIG16-CON04-DEX18-PER18-INT18-RES04 -=-Final unbuffed attributes: MIG20-CON10-DEX21-PER20-INT22-RES06 -=-Skills: Athletics, Metaphysics -=-Attribute bonus: Effigy's Resentment (Durance) - +1 CON, +5% max Health -=-Attribute bonus: Gift from the Machine - +1 MIG, +5% max Health -=-Attribute bonus: Berath's Blessing - +2 to all attributes -=-Equipment: Pet: Abraham (!) 2. Sounds like you're the one that has a problem. Try relying on facts and not assumptions. It makes you look stupid.Fact: it's possible to play through this game on POTD with level indicators turned off entirely and never have any serious problems. Try taking off the training wheels. Why don't you try not being such an arrogant ass? Just try it.

It makes you look stupid.Fact: it's possible to play through this game on POTD with level indicators turned off entirely and never have any serious problems. Try taking off the training wheels, then you'll see tough enemies as obstacles to overcome, rather than bugs to report on the forums.
  4. I remember when we didn't rely on games to hold our hand every damn step of the way. Turn off quest level indicators, and try playing the game.
  5. Serafen is a ****ing treasure. Away with you.
  6. But it does test the player's ability to play the game. Many players have gone to great lengths to set up their party such that the computer's AI is able to win the fight all by itself, simply by following the pre-set commands set by the player. Magran's Challenge is perfect for those kind of players. Another way of looking at it would be that it requires to play out a fight in their head well in advance, to predict what might happen and prepare strategies to deal with those possibilities. That's definitely testing a player's ability to play the game. So you're wrong. Also, Challenges are completely optional, and Achievements are optional. There's nothing 'required' about any of this.
  7. There is no discussion to be had. You're whining about difficulty when playing on one that isn't the hardest. Instead of restarting the game on POTD, like a normal person would, you come to cry on the forums. It's pointless.
  8. I don't think you're in a position to tell anybody what to do about anything. I just did, deal with it
  9. Yet another post complaining about difficulty while playing non-POTD. Is this really rocket science? Turn up the difficulty? Also, turn off the stupid skulls thing. This isn't an ARPG, stop playing it like one.
  10. The difference is it won't be a Magran's Fires challenge anymore. Some people have done some data mining and concluded that new achievements are coming that require having all god challenges on in a single run of the game. That would bother a lot of people if the reason they are locked out of 100% completion is something that's physically impossible for them to do. Oh nooooo..... What about the achievement related to the new mode that this gets moved to? Or we saying that we can't have achievements that disabled people can't realistically complete, is that it? This is getting ridiculous.
  11. What difference does it make if the mode is just renamed? Surely that'll just mean it's another mode you won't be able to do? How is it any different?
  12. No idea what you're talking about. The camera is fine.
  13. That's really disappointing, because I respect Josh greatly, but his work here, if it is his work, leaves a lot to be desired. I haven't played BoW yet, but I really like Serafen. Pallegina and Aloth are... not my preferred companions, let's leave it at that.
  14. I'm sorry, am I missing something? You're complaining about the difficulty while not playing on the highest difficulty level?
  15. It's vital that companions have some aspects that cannot be altered by the player, because being able to change them makes no sense. Even though the respec options that are built into the game make no sense either. You must understand it is simply not ok to have an Eder in some person's game that has less than 13 RES, or isn't given the weapon proficiencies or starting abilities that were assigned to him by the developers. If such a thing were to happen, it would ruin the game. Somehow. Anyway don't ask questions about this, the developers, and the fanbase that agrees with the developers' choices on this matter, are a lot more experienced than you and know better than you. Also, by even making this topic at all you are showing extreme gamer entitlement and are probably also racist and/or sexist. What does that last part have to do with anything. Argue the point and lay off negative personal references please.

  17. Ugh I just realised this is a ****ing discussion from JUNE. Stupid thread necromancers. Thanks for responding, anyway.
  18. I inquired in order to prove that the item was actually for sale, not to win 'an internet point'. People have paid good money for these awful figurines, that's not an 'internet point' that's real life, real money being handed over. But carry on trying to derail the discussion, you're doing swimmingly so far.
  19. I'm not obligated to buy anything just because I sent an email inquiring about product. Good to see we're focusing on the big picture, here.
