Has anyone made a post about this yet? Apologies if anyone has already posted this, but please check out this Imgur album: https://imgur.com/a/FpYRoiu The key images are these ones: These figurines are from the collector's edition that costs 240 euros, equivalent to about 280 dollars. There are more details on the ProjectEternity subreddit at Reddit.com. I wonder if we can get an official response on this? Does Obsidian think this is acceptable?

Portraits IV

Are there any watercolor versions for these? Can anyone please make some? A thousand thanks if anyone does so. I really like these two, would be extremely grateful if someone watercoloured them.... -
By announcing two games at the same time, an IWD-style set in the Living Lands and PoE3 in the Aedyr Empire or whatever location won that poll a few weeks ago. PoE3 could come later, but people would still know that it would come. This, of course assuming that it was what they wanted to do. Perhaps. Expensive to produce two games at once, though.

The problem I see is twofold, first of all if Obsidian were to change their design philosophy as you suggest, audiences might get confused. They might go into games expecting one thing, and be angry when they get something else. This also works the other way, where people who this design philosophy might appeal to, might not know that Obsidian had switched to it. Just how does a developer communicate such a radical departure to existing fans, and new ones, easily, and without backlash? Secondly, the studio is undoubtedly set up for the current design philosophy, which is to say plenty of emphasis on story and companions. If they ditched that, they suddenly have a lot of talent which they have no use for, or maybe they have to repurpose for quite different roles. Not an impossible task by any means, but not trivial either. So it's not as simple as it might seem, and that's even assuming that they happen to agree with your assessment. I think your point has some merit, because I also don't think much of Deadfire's companions or main story, but expecting Obsidian to just change into a different developer overnight seems overly optimistic.

Wait a minute; you can carry all PoE 1 acquired bonuses?!!! ****. I am not sure if I have any PoE saves left though. I think I disabled Cloud. a) Yes you can b) You don't need your POE saves, you can build a custom history from the main menu Thanks for the quick answers! I just did a Google search, and I saw several posts complaining that the stat bonuses do not port over. But these posts were in May. Did Obsidian fix this issue then? Also, can you build a custom history and still get the stat bonuses? Ok, I did find an old save. But I don't have Effigy's Resentment done or Gifts from the Machine done, as I played a "good" character. But I do have Dungeon Delver, Second Skin, and Hylea's Boon. Do they port over? Also, Berath's Blessing? How do you get that? I don't recall what that was. Berath's Blessings are things you earn from completing the game, completing parts of the game, etc. You choose bonuses when you start a new character based on the achievements you've gotten. I don't know about those abilities, I don't think they transfer.

Yes, it's brutal, but it justifies you making sweeping changes to the Spiritshift system. If you look at what the Shifter class is meant to do, it's got lots of Spiritshift uses per encounter, and it can't cast while shifted. So, subtracting from its spellcasting power fits the concept. The Shift class shouldn't need Elements spells, because it should be too busy ripping things to shreds with its Spiritshift forms. Come out of Spiritshift, throw out a heal or two, then go back to biting things to death.
-
It's quite simple really. Make them unable to cast any spell with the 'elements' keyword. (They cannot cast while Shifted currently, but that doesn't stop them from casting long duration spells then Shifting.) Then, whatever buffs you throw at them are justified. It would also be a good way to differentiate them from the usual offensive spellcasting Druid shenanigans of 'cast Returning Storm, move next to enemy'.

I'd be very grateful if someone could illuminate me as to how these mechanics interact with each other. Berserker Frenzy places the character under the Confused status effect. Devil of Caroc's Breastplate provides the character with Resistance to Intellect afflictions. Infuse With Vital Essence grants the player the Smart inspiration. So, questions: Situation A: wearing the Breastplate What happens when you wear the Breastplate under Frenzy? Does the Confused status simply disappear? What happens if an enemy afflicts you with Confused while wearing the Breastplate and you are Frenzied? Are you now Confused? What happens if an enemy afflicts you with Charm while wearing the Breastplate and you are Frenzied? Are you now Charmed? Situation B: under Infuse With Vital Essence effect What happens when you cast IWVE under Frenzy? Do you gain the Smart inspiration AND lose Confused, or do the two cancel each other out? What happens if an enemy afflicts you with Confused while under IWVE and Frenzy? What happens if an enemy afflicts you with Charm while under IWVE and Frenzy? Situation C: wearing the Breastplate and under IWVE What happens when you cast Frenzy? Do you gain Smart? What happens if an enemy afflicts you with Confused while wearing the BP, under IWVE and Frenzy? What happens if an enemy afflicts you with Charm while wearing the BP, under IWVE and Frenzy? Bonus question: what happens if someone casts the Acute or Brilliant inspirations on your character in addition to the BP, IWVE and Frenzy?

Hey check out this Fire Godlike pic that Pinterest tossed my way: Portrait dimensions: -
Imagine if they'd bothered to create something actually cool, like polymorphing into a Fire Elemental or something. Instead... an ogre. That's boring as hell. Who wants to transform into a dumb ogre. Not to mention, they actually should have created something a lot more flexible than just a combat polymorph, or given us several options to choose from.

What distribution would you go for? And also, what do you think of going for Spellblade instead? Bearing in mind that I'm running a Distraction tank... Well, I'd maybe go for Might 18 Dex 16 Con 10 I don't think a Distraction tank helps the Spellblade a whole lot. The main idea for me would be a totally different playstyle then. Go with Assassin/Evoker and drop Assassinate +25 Accuracy +50% Crit damage fireballs from stealth (empowered when possible). Also cool, but a very diiferent flavour - burst rather then sustainable. Ok, thanks

Llengarth's Displaced Image, Llengrath Safeguards, Ironskin... Frenzy damage is mitigated ring of regeneration and voidward ring and savage defiance (barbarian) later Ok. What do you think of these stats for a Human Warlock (without BB/with BB): MIG 19/21 CON 04/06 DEX 15/17 PER 18/20 INT 18/20 RES 04/06 Too squishy? Overvaluing Dex?
