When I think back to Al Gore and Bush. Gore was boring, Bush was funny. Americans need to make America funny again.

Watched the Shannara episodes and thought they were good. Never read the books. Is there an ending to this series?

I'm hoping Trump becomes President. Can't be any worse than some of the previous presidents the U.S. has had. Even if he's worse, it should be humorous to watch.

US town rejects solar farm after residents say it would suck up all the sunlight http://www.smh.com.au/environment/un-climate-conference/us-town-rejects-solar-farm-after-residents-say-it-would-suck-up-the-sunlight-20151213-glmqa6.html Jane Mann, a retired science teacher, reportedly told the council meeting she was concerned the panels would prevent photosynthesis and so stop the growth of nearby plants.

One BBQ food place is giving discounts for open carry. http://www.khou.com/story/news/local/2016/01/01/cypress-restaurant-offers-open-carry-discount/78190276/ Well, I suspect those who are intending to harm wouldn't be carrying guns openly.

I thought this was interesting. Toting guns is now legal in Texas http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-01-06/wal-mart-workers-on-pistol-patrol-as-law-lets-texans-tote-guns People can get pretty worked up in a retail environment and can understand if employees preferred it if the customer wasn't armed. Customer: "Can you do this any cheaper". Employee: "No" Customer: *puts hand on gun* "Are you sure?". Black Friday sales with open carry. Have the SWAT team on standby.

When a white person gets called a chimp, it's humour. When it's a black person, it's racism. -
What would you do if you had unlimited time and money?

I would build a dyson sphere for the entire universe... and when the universe hits the edges of the sphere the universe will collapse on itself. -
Have some people over and their 5 year old daughter just threw up all down the stairs. Fortunately we don't have carpet and it's wooden floor boards throughout the house. Out comes the mop & bucket and after 5 minutes of cleaning I have to take a break as I was convulsing and about to throw up as well. Geezus, the smell. I've left my girlfriend to clean up the rest. I couldn't take it anymore.

I like this idea. Limitless is becoming a reality.

I thought it was a good movie overall. -
Signed a contract to purchase a 2br unit today and will rent it out. Guess I'll have to go to the bank and borrow some money.

The original theatrical release versions? Even with the original female/warped-looking Emperor Palpatine in The Empire Strikes Back? You can get the despecialised editions online. Not only are they in HD widescreen but in their original theatrical versions. Even A New Hope doesn't have the Episode IV at the beginning.

You only need to look no further than the opening shot of the first movie that came out with Tatooine. A desert world where no life should exist. Much the same as Hoth. Where does the air come from? Anyway, having very little to no vegetation doesn't bother me. -
Police are hunting nine men after a bizarre picnic table prank on our roads. The group was caught on camera driving through Scarborough Western Australia, sitting on motorised tables - some even drinking a beer on the way https://www.facebook.com/9NewsPerth/videos/1129995617012597/

Oh yeah, let's turn the whole west into the incarnation of 1984. I think Jefferson would be proud now...Snowden is a traitor and betrayed his country.... and he did reveal how the NSA have the ability to monitor most social media so now maybe certain extremist groups may not use Facebook or Twitter as a way to communicate but I imagine this would have happened eventually so I don't think we can blame him for this ? In EU he is considered a hero who did risk everything so others can still enjoy one of the basic human rights, which is right to privacy. Snowden is just one of many things imo. With the recent laws introduced in Australia with data retention and other online laws being looked at, there's been a snowball effect and shift for a lot of people to share how to get around such laws, to hide who you are, your location, how to message anonymously and what you're viewing and downloading. There's a lot of guides on how to do this and many people (even news agencies) willing to share how. It's no reason why Intelligence agencies are having a hard time. There's a bit of irony there.

Say what you will about former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbot but he did have this to say a couple of weeks ago. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-10-28/tony-abbott-urges-european-leaders-to-turn-back-asylum-seekers/6890886 Well, France has closed its borders. I assume this mean no flights in and out of France as well?
