This topic isn't stupid. There's probably a thread for this question, and maybe your actual system specs right now, but it's hectic on the forum during the first week or so of a release. I've found a thread for you and I'm merging yours into this one.

Moved to builds and strategies.

Moving things out of General which is supposed to be entirely spoiler free, to other sub-forums. I know this is innocuous, but it still has minor spoils in it.

I read through the posts and I can see the point that it's not really a spoiler thread. However, the General PoE thread is specifically meant to be as spoiler free as possible. The irony is that I've seen a lot of spoilerish stuff going through the various posts, and this one seems pretty innocuous. Still, to play it safe, it's now in the stories section. Nevertheless, I didn't put spoiler tags on it because I think the title is about the only spoilerish thing in the whole thread, and even that appears pretty harmless.

Oh, I've been approving your work up until now (when you no longer need mod approval) and I'm impressed with it. The godlike look is just creepy to me. That's probably good, but it's still... offputting? Your work, however, is quite good. At least I think it's your work.

I just can't help it, but I always think the godlike look either goofy or ugly. ...And sometimes both.

Okay, this will probably cause a couple people to chuckle. My dad died during the kickstarter. I thought about donating money somewhere for him, but I'm a gamer. I've been a gamer my whole life. So, I decided that, instead of spending the money to get my sorry name, about which no one cared, into the game, I would ask if they'd let me use it as a memorial to my dad. So, if you're in the graveyard and see one that says, "Athos Mazzanti, noble father to a grateful son," that's mine. I know folks get all kinds of goofy about these things sometimes, and I agree sometimes the gravestones are sometimes beyond ridiculous, surpassing sublime, and rest completely in Twilight Zone territory. So what? I've actually read some crazy assed tombstones in real life. Anyhow, I will say that I appreciate the fact that Obsidian was willing to let me use my pledge to honor my dad, a person considerably more worthy of honoring than myself.

Ah, I see, Creslin. I don't have the chance to dig into threads like I used to. So, yeah, that makes sense. Not that it's modded and therefore people *could* do it. Rather, the people who *did* do it still enjoyed the game. I get ya. It's kind of a different twist on the argument.

Yeah, I have to admit that I don't think it makes sense to count mods when arguing about core features in the game. In fact, it seems to me that citing mods argues against the position of including any feature. After all, the reason it's modded is because the design team didn't put it in as a core feature. They didn't put it in as a feature at all. I'm pretty neutral on respec, but I wouldn't cite mods as a reason why. I would instead cite them as a reason why not.

It isn't. It really, REALLY isn't. And it is breaking the game completely for me. First time I loaded my ranger character the companion is gone. Since I am now reading that it doesn't only happen for companions but also followers, why would I want to make a new game if it will just happen all over again? Ahh, I see. I'm sorry, I didn't quite get it at first. There are so many posts/threads to approve that I tend to skim them mostly to make sure that they're on the up and up. That's a real bummer man and I hope the issue is resolved for you and soon!

You tell her how cool it is to play it together and, since it's actually a single player game, just dispatch her to bring you more beer and snacks as you play.

Maybe he had urgent business to attend off screen and returned as soon as he could. In all seriousness, hopefully it's one of those weird one off glitches.

Wow, I haven't played Bloodlines in forever. Right now, I'm playing keeping up with the forum rush, and then it'll be PoE, but I'll keep Bloodlines in mind.

I was hoping I'd have the package when I got home today, but it wasn't there. :Cant's chagrin grin icon: I'm not really worried. I'd like to have it, but I can wait. I could maybe play it a couple of hours tonight and then I'll be gone tomorrow. As for the digital copies, like other folks have said, I had two digital copies that were hero editions and I have the collector's edition box coming by snail mail.

Yeah, I would like that so much more than all out romances!
