  1. It's like we're both talking to a brick wall. "a custom, principle, or belief distinguishing a particular class or group of people, especially a long-standing one regarded as outmoded or no longer important." Now a question for you: Have you ever read "Propaganda"? It's not the "warm fuzzies about IE games" that's important; it's the unconcious connections that people naturally draw between the Infinity Engine and Baldur's Gate, specifically. Not everyone, not all the time--but enough people, enough of the time. *groan* it is sexy women in beer commercials taking off their clothes. your illustration. your metaphor. when discussing the qualities o' beer or the brewer's fulfillment 'pon promises regarding the qualities o' beer, only the complete yutz points to the sexy women in beer commercials taking off their clothes. you are identifying a generalized marketing approach. can't use specific, 'cause as we has identified now a dozen different freaking times, obsidian never did use the shibboleth in question. game publishers and developers sell using nostalgia? *feigned shock* 'course they do. is still impossible to blame obsidian for using "spiritual successor" 'cause they never did. use nostalgia in general? sure. so what? point to the general marketing approach as meaningful when discussing the qualities o' games or beer is idiotic. people keep using "spiritual successor" in context o' poe as if it has meaning and value. in spite o' being a bit of marketing puffery (which obsidian didn't specific use anyway) there is a class o' folks who continue to attribute qualities and features to a phrase which don't have any such meaning. is shibboleth. reveals something 'bout the person who uses phrase. if not using simple to identify the crpg Marketing equivalent sexy women taking off their clothes, then is being used false. shibboleth. general speaking, "spiritual successor" is a highly subjective descriptor representing no inherent qualities or features. use such a descriptor to identify any game is pointless. may have value to an advertiser or seller who is going for feel, but to fault or laud a game developer for "spiritual successor" failure or achievement is ridiculous as the phrase is representing vague, nebulous and elusive qualities which will vary significantly from player to player. your intentional partial "magic" quote makes even worse as specific speaking o' poe, the developers were selling the nostalgia for at minimum, a half-dozen different game releases. is more than a few folks who think ps:t were the bestest game ever who at same time also think bg were dreck. shibboleth. you are talking generalized marketing 'bout selling nostalgia. fine. Gromnir keeps identifying how in discussion 'bout the game itself, to keep referring to the sexy women in beer commercials who take off their clothes makes the person look foolish. HA! Good Fun!
  2. so not getting through. seeing as how we never denied obsidian were using warm fuzzies for ie games to sell poe, your explanation post is pointless. do you know what is shibboleth? HA! Good Fun!
  3. *sigh* gonna do the repeat thing, eh? "kinda missing the point on shibboleth. first, obsidian never said it, but more important, as we keep repeating, it means nothing to say "spiritual successor." in the bit kat21 left out o' his quote, there were mention o' iwd and planescape as well. so, if the "magic" bit is indeed akin to "spiritual successor," then poe were intended to be the spiritual successor o' three different games. use Gromnir's quote from kickstarter and poe becomes spiritual successor o' all the old roleplay games obsidian developers liked to play? perhaps somebody has claimed the new mummy movie is the spiritual successor o' all the old-timey horror and monster films folks like. uh, ok. what exact is the point o' being the spiritual successor o' multiple games. oh, and bg already had a spiritual successor: bg2. "am thinking you don't know what is shibboleth, but suggesting there is some kinda fundamental quality o' a "spiritual successor" is silly and revealing something 'bout those who use the phrase as 'posed to having any meaningful use in game development discussions. kat 21 accurate likens the use o' phrase to the inclusion o' hot girls in beer commercials. he/she is correct. the girls don't reveal anything 'bout the qualities o' the beer. even the dumbest purchasers is not gonna expect hot girls to sudden become attracted to a purchaser o' beer. so, you are the guy actual buying the beer for the hot girls? the shibboleth in question is, at best, nostalgia inducing puffery when it is utilized... not that obsidian did use. furthermore, what is the qualities o' a spiritual successor? do you know? is it possible for anybody hearing you says "spiritual successor" to know what essential qualities you is referencing? no? then is not a particular useful descriptor. "you, like others, has globbed onto a meaningless turn o' phrase that obsidian never even used. congrats on dragging out and proving shibboleth." so again, obsidian clear avoided claiming spiritual successor-- never actual used such a phrase. possible 'cause phrase is meaningless? "spiritual successor" to what? a collection o' more than a half dozen crpg releases? at best you got some kinda vague notion o' nostalgia being sold by obsidian. no disagreement, but that hardly makes "spiritual successor" any less a shibboleth. given we don't even have a specific idea o' what poe were 'posed a "spiritual successor" to, the phrase itself has no meaning. is sexy women taking off their clothes in beer commercials. is vague nostalgia. is a list o' essential qualities which is gonna change depending on who you ask. meaningless. use and defend "spiritual successor" don't say anything 'bout poe, obsidian or even the meaning o' "spiritual sucessor." keep using and defending "spiritual successor" does actual say something 'bout the folks using and defending. shibboleth. HA! Good Fun!
  4. https://twitter.com/jesawyer/status/839187923937304576 perhaps add a maritime version o' wells fargo stagecoach to explain the cowboy hats... and forthcoming duster. regardless, whichever faction makes most sense for our "wild bunch" party will get the nod. HA! Good Fun!
  5. kinda missing the point on shibboleth. first, obsidian never said it, but more important, as we keep repeating, it means nothing to say "spiritual successor." in the bit kat21 left out o' his quote, there were mention o' iwd and planescape as well. so, if the "magic" bit is indeed akin to "spiritual successor," then poe were intended to be the spiritual successor o' three different games. use Gromnir's quote from kickstarter and poe becomes spiritual successor o' all the old roleplay games obsidian developers liked to play? perhaps somebody has claimed the new mummy movie is the spiritual successor o' all the old-timey horror and monster films folks like. uh, ok. what exact is the point o' being the spiritual successor o' multiple games. oh, and bg already had a spiritual successor: bg2. am thinking you don't know what is shibboleth, but suggesting there is some kinda fundamental quality o' a "spiritual successor" is silly and revealing something 'bout those who use the phrase as 'posed to having any meaningful use in game development discussions. kat 21 accurate likens the use o' phrase to the inclusion o' hot girls in beer commercials. he/she is correct. the girls don't reveal anything 'bout the qualities o' the beer. even the dumbest purchasers is not gonna expect hot girls to sudden become attracted to a purchaser o' beer. so, you are the guy actual buying the beer for the hot girls? the shibboleth in question is, at best, nostalgia inducing puffery when it is utilized... not that obsidian did use. furthermore, what is the qualities o' a spiritual successor? do you know? is it possible for anybody hearing you says "spiritual successor" to know what essential qualities you is referencing? no? then is not a particular useful descriptor. you, like others, has globbed onto a meaningless turn o' phrase that obsidian never even used. congrats on dragging out and proving shibboleth. as for the second half o' your post, you gotta recognize you is marginalizing self, yes? Gromnir were in fact responding to your complaint 'bout surfeit o' tactical depth. fine. you not see poe or or the ie games or wasteland 2 as particular good examples o' squad-based tactical combat in rpgs. again, fine. given such low opinion o' poe tactical combat, why are you so fixated on a graze mechanic in potd? makes no sense to us whatsoever. the potd feature is an extreme cheap way for obsidian to give the hardcore player a bit o' a challenge. is not 'posed to be balanced. your complaint is becoming increasing nonsensical. again, am in agreement that 'cause o' potd increased mobs and bloated foe accuracy, a handful o' encounters involving enemies which confer debilitating status effects become significant more difficult than other trash mobs. for reasons stated ad nauseum in previous posts, your solutions to an extreme limited problem strike us as impractical and excessive. am doubting we are gonna reach agreement. if you ask ten different potd players how they deal with stuns, you are likely to get at least five different answers. one o' the good things 'bout poe is the wide range o' player options. the game has many abilities and synergies. assuming a solution is narrow is a mistake. HA! Good Fun!
  6. and what exactly do you think that means? It means that they deliberatly marketed the game based on nostalgia for Baldur's Gate. They knew *damn* well what they were doing. It was Bernaysian marketing--make the people *feel* like they'll get their old sense of fun back even if they logically know it's not the same game. It's like a beer commercial where they show a guy drinking this brand of beer and then suddenly surround by sexy women taking off their clothes. They don't *say* that drinking their beer will make you get laid, but you, me, and they all know what they're saying. This isn't secret ****. This is Marketing 101. all of which makes the "spiritual successor" bit meaningless. is not a promise o'... anything. obsidian were guilty o' attempting to use nostalgia for bg to sell poe? *feigned shock* review: obsidian never said "spiritual successor" and 'ccording to you, the bg magic bit is akin to using hot chicks to sell beer? ... in parlance you might be familiar with, you is doing a terrible job o' selling us on the notion o' "spiritual successor" being more than shibboleth. HA! Good Fun!
  7. more than a bit off-topic, eh? seems more like a calculated attempt to cause problems. ever see the movie, true romance? staying on-topic, other than missing nose and ears, am not certain how one would depict a skaen godlike. HA! Good Fun!
  8. TLAM-D can target a runway fine, since it's cluster based. Would also have the advantage of hitting the aircraft parked on berms as well like the MiG23s that were just sitting there, chillin', after the attack. Mostly though it's kind of embarrassing- and would obviously be so- having it back in action a few hours later. At least that way claims that the runway's existence is trivial anyway can be somewhat supported instead of having multiple videos of obviously armed sukhois taking off and landing. In any case original claims made were that it was hit and out of action, the story only changed later. Indeed, there's clearly been some... 'retconning', shall we say, going on from the press to clean up the mess, the claim that the runway was targeted has been edited out of some articles eg this one though you can find quotes from the article in original form elsewhere (sanity warning, neogaf). according to janes 2015-16, the ceb (combined effects bomblets) is no longer in use. the tlam-d is a fragmentation weapon for taking out soft targets. tomahawk is long range, extreme reliable, accurate, and don't put US personnel in any kinda danger. use tomahawk also allows for greater flexibility o' proportional response. go in and glass the airbase with b-2s and then what does one do when syria or russia do something additional stoopid? the air base attack were a dramatic message. 59 tomahawks coulda' just as easily been targeting locations o' syrian (or russian) military personnel and as with air base which had warning, the syrians and russians woulda' had no way to stop 'em. what is with you and and the pointless tangents? radar identifications and now nbc reports regarding targeting of runway? so what? why is nbc reporting o' targeting o' runways significant? even if the runway were targeted, the damage would be easily fixed in short order, so again, no surprise the base were useable in a relative short period o' time. HA! Good Fun
  9. and what exactly do you think that means? bring back magic from "..." am s'posing there is a list o' additional ie games mentioned? so not "spiritual successor," but nebulous bring back magic of multiple ie titles? define for us what is those qualities and features which constitute the "magic" o' multiple games? bet your list is different from Gromnir's. has always been shibboleth. obsidian never claimed "spiritual successor," and is meaningless puffery regardless. closest quote we found from obsidian is, "Project Eternity aims to recapture the magic, imagination, depth, and nostalgia of classic RPGs that we enjoyed making - and playing." https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/obsidian/project-eternity is a sales pitch. is extreme general. is Not "spiritual successor" to bg... whatever the hell that means. HA! Good Fun!
  10. first, am not certain why we is bothering with this. second, obsidian never claimed that poe were a spiritual successor to bg as you claimed. is certain folks who keep claiming such nonsense in spite o' the fact that "spiritual successor" means nothing. shibboleth. why have potd? 'cause hard core players, as few as they are, want increased difficulty. give the hardcore folks what they want w/o having to do serious additional resource investment? sure. is a cheap way to give a small number o' sooper-fans a bit o' a thrill. if potd can be added to the base game with little additional resources, then why the heck not? for the mouthiest fans, potd increases replayability. huzzah. is good for Gromnir. as the target audience o' potd, am perfect ok with a few encounters being disproportionate difficult, and we wouldn't want the developers to sacrifice base game development to make major improvements to potd. is axiomatic inefficient to spend any considerable developer resources improving the balance o' a feature meant to increase the difficulty o' the core game. third, compare bg levels 6-8 and poe levels 6-8 if it makes you feel better. bg fighters get standard melee or ranged attack. that's it. rogues get what kinda combat abilities in bg? rangers? regardless o' the levels, your bg toolbox is sparse. be serious. worse, you can defeat every bg encounter via identical and simple tactics. bg is not a good squad-based tactical combat game, though iwd were much better and poe claimed to be drawing more inspiration from iwd combat than bg. four... *sigh* we honest don't have the endurance to respond to decreasing compelling concerns. the graze mechanic is functioning as intended at most difficulty levels. potd does indeed create a perfect storm for enemies regarding grazes as foe accuracy is increased while also adding a considerable number o' foes. get far more incoming potd attacks to exploit grazes, and those attacks is backed by serious increased accuracy. the graze mechanic results being complained 'bout in this thread is utter foreseeable. we can see some possible value in decreasing mob numbers in potd for a few o' those particular troublesome encounters as such would be an easy fix. HA! Good Fun!
  11. you are being utter ridiculous. the runway weren't a target 'cause the kinda damage a tomahawk could do to a runway would be minimal. use an extreme expensive weapon to make a relative small hole in a runway the syrians could repair w/o much effort? *snort* hell, the tomahawk, as Gromnir has already stated, were not an ideal weapon for disabling an air base, so telling us the air base were operational a short time after the airstrike ain't even a zor attempt for a shot on goal. such an observation 'bout base functionality hardly lends credence to the notion fewer missiles than claimed reached targets. on the positive side, you are being consistent inexplicable with the non responses. got a highly accurate (*chuckle*), reliable and efficient weapon system which russia claims missed targets. russia asserted less than half of 59 tomahawks reached target? russia supports claim o' inaccurate weapons with grainy drone video even gifted1 would mock if the drone were a christmas gift his kids got via amazon, but that don't bother zor much. on the positive side, we ain't getting more o' your ridiculous radar expertise. still have no idea where that kick were aimed. HA! Good Fun!
  12. P R O J E C T I O N. And FTR, nobody is saying that the Tomahawks are inaccurate in the usual sense, nobody. The ones that arrived seem to have hit the targets they were aimed at, though some may have been aimed at targets that were moved. Once they get off the ocean and can use terrain scanning, inertia and GPS they were clearly accurate. The question at hand is how many got the chance to be accurate. Pretty easy to prove damage conclusively and it was done for 16 targets, but not for 44. Provide evidence of those extra 28 targets at the same resolution/ scale as the others and it'd all have been fine, don't, and you will face questions why you haven't. hypocrisy. too relevant? perhaps you is simple random posting words. kumquat. oh, and not inaccurate "in the usual sense," (HA!) but claims that so few managed to reach targets and effective deliver their payloads. perhaps you prefer reliable or dependable as adjectives? have 59 launched and have so few reach and deliver ordinance is a rather unique outcome. ... okie dokie. HA! Good Fun!
  13. actually, there is. an ordinary english speaker would likely believe a passenger has boarded an airline when they physical step onto the plane. is at least one aviation attorney we spoke to who told us boarding is a process, and a passenger is not considered to have actual boarded until the plane leaves the terminal. law is replete with definitions which do not adhere to simple english meanings. most lawyers we know is gonna be very careful 'bout identifying actual meanings o' overbooked and boarded and whatnot. the problem with unique definitions and simple english readings is a frequent hurdle for Gromnir when attempting to explain Constitutional law to lay folks. folks read their pocket Constitution and become more confused when Gromnir explains what case law has interpreted the Constitution to actual be meaning. "but the tenth amendment says..." *shrug* typical, ambiguities in a contract is decided 'gainst the person who wrote the language in the contract, but is not always the case, and again, for airline travel you got custom and fed law to deal with. HA! Good Fun!
  14. you keep misrepresenting. That's called projection. hardly. is somebody being willful obtuse, but not Gromnir. yeah, somehow tomahawk missiles, whatever their shortcomings, became uncharacteristic inaccurate during the attack on the syrian airbase. similar, to watch you tie self in knots regarding the capacity o' radar to identify aircraft is actual baffling? why? you didn't actual seem to have a relevant point. is no doubt unintentional illustrative o' our observation 'bout russian need to create an alternative narrative, but is baffling nevertheless. HA! Good Fun!
  15. we would caution 'gainst hiring this guy. am no more an expert on the subject matter than is he, but even we recognize what a shallow reading he gave the contract of carriage. boarding, for example, is a term o' art which seems to have a meaning divorced from simple english. likewise, federal laws is very much a factor when deciding when/how a passenger may be removed from a plane. the internet is a dangerous place. HA! Good Fun!
  16. am doubting the airline is particular worried 'bout lawsuit. the passenger agreed to the possibility o' being kicked off the plane when he purchased his ticket. the airline didn't actual drag the passenger off the plane either. nobody from the airline laid hands on the passenger. united might very well lose patronage from folks who see united as the ultimate evil doer, and perhaps united would rather settle than deal with a public legal battle, but we can't see much potential liability for united. 'course any discussion with vol is doomed from the start. HA! Good Fun!
  17. gonna complete disagree. layering protections in d&d crpgs were not the least bit tactical as it were largely ritual and rote. once an activity becomes repetitive and mindless, it is difficult to see much tactical value in its addition. the reason for removing pre-combat casting in poe were in large part to exorcise a perceived obstacle to tactical combat. 'course there is poe tactics which is so overwhelming effective they become as habitual as ie game pre-casting. such an admission is not an argument in favor o' d&d pre-casting but rather a recognition o' need for better balance and more encounter complexity for poe2. HA! Good Fun!
  18. it were a case of overbooking, but yeah, rarely does folks actual get on the plane in such situations. 'ccording to the contract of carriage all ticket purchasers agree to, folks can be removed at airline discretion up to the point which the plane leaves the terminal. don't like being bumped? fly an airline which don't bump, or do as hurl and risk road travel. the airline did screw up and they handled the screwup poorly. even so, the airline screwup were a minor thing. a handful o' passengers were inconvenienced. delayed to a later flight and compensated. annoying, but hardly the evil folks is pretending it to be. the situation actual spun outta hand when the passenger refused to comply with directives from the airline and from law enforcement. law enforcement clear made worse by by handling the passenger removal in a seeming excessive manner. Gromnir ain't defending law enforcement excess, but honestly, who are these folks who when confronted by armed police officers decide it is better to risk a physical confrontation... a physical confrontation over a plane seat? if dr. dao were defending his wife or kids or a stranger from police brutality, we could understand his behavior. if dr. dao were standing up for democracy, or civil rights or even puppies we could understand risking a police confrontation. inconvenience. dr. dao can't see patients w/o another doctor's supervision, so is not as if those patients with runny noses and sore backs were gonna be going w/o medical care. ultimately the guy were willing to risk police confrontation to avoid inconvenience. airline made a mistake. the passenger's behavior in the situation were unreasonable. law enforcement acted with excessive force. is plenty o' blame to go 'round. HA! Good Fun!
  19. our recollection is that phantoms don't teleport. shadows teleport. stun is precise what makes phantoms a challenge. claims 'bout no downside to balancing potd is ignoring reality and multiple Gromnir posts. takes resources to balance a feature not actual used by many. criticism o' tactical poe deficiencies while bringing up d&d crpgs is bordering ridiculous. compare bg, the first ie d&d game to poe, the first game with a new system. tactical depth o' poe far exceeds bg and arguing such a point ain't worthy o' much discussion. the tactical options available to a poe player and poe foes is far more numerous than bg. compare actual combat options o' a poe fighter or rogue or ranger to similar bg classes. furthermore, like it or not, the graze mechanic which you complain 'bout also adds tactical complexity as debilitating effects cannot simple be ignored by proper pre-combat layering o' protections as existed in bg and d&d. etc. is not even a fair comparison to stack poe 'gainst bg as the d&d game were so utter lacking in tactical sophistication. am also not gonna bother yet again addressing spiritual successor nonsense. is a shibboleth. the graze mechanic does make a handful o' encounters more difficult. not every player sees such increased difficulty as a bad thing as increased difficulty is exact what player is demanding with potd runs. HA! Good Fun!
  20. that's a reason you drive an rv instead o' flying? getting bumped happens .62 for every 10,000 passengers. Gromnir don't drive an rv 'cause roller skating deer, hopped up on ecstasy and listening to air supply tracks from their ipods, tends to throw themselves at our vehicle. *shrug* the situation with united were a bit unique as passengers had already boarded, but for purposes o' the contract o' carriage, airlines got extreme broad discretion insofar as bumping folks. rule o' thumb is airlines can bump you up until the moment the plane has left the terminal. worse, what constitutes "interference with the flight crew" is viewed even more broad, and as soon as the passenger refused to comply with instructions to disembark, force from law enforcement likely became appropriate. regardless, folks is once again learning the wrong lesson from the video. refusing to comply with law enforcement instructions beyond a certain point is all kinda stoopid. how often does we need see video o' folks getting bloody lips or a faceful o' glass or even shot before folks realize it is a bad idea to refuse to comply with police instructions? wanna fight cops? do so in court, with a lawyer to help you. fight cops on a darkened city street, in your car or on a crowded airplane is gonna end up bad for you. fight in court. you might lose in court, but you could win. you will lose on street, in your car or on a plane. HA! Good Fun! ps united stock went up yesterday on an otherwise flat trading day. stock is up considerable for the year as well. Well, the cops don't seem to think so. They uncharacteristically issued a statement that this was not reasonable force and not standard procedure. you are misreading. force to compel compliance is appropriate. the degree of force used and the steps taken before force were applied may not have been appropriate in this case, but the use o' force is warranted when passengers interfere with the flight crew. and again, wrong lesson is learned. as gd noted, the airline made a generous offer and in virtual all cases, somebody on a flight will accept such alternative offers made by the airline. sadly, once law enforcement arrives and makes demands, monty haul is no longer possible. the passenger were gonna leave the plane even if a few de-escalation steps were skipped by law enforcement. yeah, law enforcement has been known to resort to excessive force. is all the more reason to avoid possible confrontation, no? given dr. dao's past, avoiding confrontations with police woulda' been all the more advisable. HA! Good Fun!
  21. that were your observation, not Gromnir's. we observed that potd balance testing should not be a priority 'cause it would take development resources to do such testing. based on numerous threads 'bout how folks actual play poe, am not seeing a need for change for the vast majority o' players. have a few potd encounters play noticeable more difficult? why fix? is few actual potd players, and at least some % o' those appear to be ok with the current situation. that being said, removing the on-hit effects would drastic affect the balance o' any number o' encounters. the challenge o' numerous foes is largely dependent on their ability to punish via debilitating status effects. a phantom w/o stun has little point. the phantom don't teleport or daze as do shadows. what is the purpose o' phantoms in encounter design if you remove status effect? simple remove such capacity would reduce the variety, complexity, difficulty and fun o' many combat encounters in poe. at the very least the removal o' phantom stunning would necessitate new balance testing and likely would warrant phantom redesign to give your newly emasculated and boring monster type a replacement ability. am not certain what your point 'bout d&d is. is a different combat systems. there is no graze mechanic in d&d. there is indeed no-save status effects in d&d, but suggesting you know how such d&d stuff would be applied if d&d used a poe-style graze mechanic is a bit o' a stretch. HA! Good Fun!
  22. you keep misrepresenting. sure the system can be wrong. there is the possibility o' a malfunction or user error with any complex system. the possibility o' singular errors does not preclude the possibility o' a weapon system working as advertised virtual every time it is used, and such systems has been many times in both testing and actual battlefield conditions. you somehow reverse the obvious conclusion. HA! Good Fun!
  23. nevertheless, many o' us has completed multiple potd runs, which should suggest there is tactics for dealing with the 'posed indefensible. heck, Gromnir ain't even a serious optimizer and potd hardly sent us to our metaphorical knees. am gonna guess there is extreme few folks who, having spent tens of hours on a normal or hard playthrough o' poe, were nevertheless unable to finish a potd run 'cause o' the graze mechanic. *shrug* potd is a blunt difficulty increase. mob sizes are increased. foe defenses and accuracy is increased. such methods is crude and effective. such methods also make the graze mechanic particular visible. if obsidian spends too much effort balancing potd, we would be disappointed. this board obvious attracts more hardcore players, so feedback here is not always meaningful and can be misleading. the folks who genuine had their poe purchase frustrated by the graze mechanic rearing its ugly head in a few potd encounters cannot be a large % o' total purchasers. of the potd enthusiasts posting in this thread, many will claim they saw no graze issue at all. some, such as Gromnir, will recognize the impact o' grazes making stuns/charms more lethal, but will deny it caused noteworthy frustration. the remainder o' folks describe some degree o' consternation with potd grazes. in all honesty, where would folks prioritize potd balancing o' the graze mechanic? game development is zero sum, so what do we sacrifice to ensure better graze balancing in potd? reduce mob sizes in a few o' those stun/charm-on-graze encounters would likely be an easy fix to the problem, but Gromnir actual likes the additional challenge. dunno. HA! Good Fun!
  24. recognizing how the poe attributes is often abstractions owing more to game balance concerns than to any kinda real life quality is so 2012. HA! Good Fun!
  25. we never play godlike. the cheap poe plane-touched knockoffs don't appeal to our rp pretensions, and the naming nomenclature is crude to the point o' being vulgar. godlike? why bother with orlan when could call 'em short-fuzzies? aumaua is kinda a mouthful. why not fishface or sahuaginlike? we never liked d&d plane-touched, but the naming choice for the poe version is terrible, just terrible. HA! Good Fun!
