Great news from Feargus
I don't particularly like 40K. I read the rules, but the price of the minitures to play the game was prohibitive. I rather see a nice near future hardcore sci fi CRPG. Thats the beauty of it, you don't need the miniatures to play a crpg. No painting, no cutting, no super-glueing your fingers together... (said the guy who has a 24 squad Valhallan army :blush10: ) Do yourself a favour and grab some of the old source books if you can, Rogue Trader, Slaves to Darkness, The Lost and the Damned etc.

Bad Karma? ... There is just no escaping HM Revenue and Customs. Lady Di didn't, Mark Langford didn't...

Great news from Feargus
... We should start a lobbying group, to maximise our voices and the impact of our oppinions I am all for Obsidian taking on some of the darker sides of the Warhammer 40K universe (as if it had anything else).

New Die Hard trailer
We are proud to announce: "Hollywood 2" Nah, too many sequels. And Hollywood whines about dropping profits? Heck, I haven't even seen Pirates of the Caribbean 2 yet... I think I'll pass on this too.

Its been awhile, post your desktop image!
From wikipedia: Catfish belong to a superorder called the Ostariophysi, which also includes the Cypriniformes, Characiformes, Gonorynchiformes and Gymnotiformes, a superorder characterized by the Weberian apparatus. ... Yes, I know it's not really a catfish.

TSL Restoration Project: The Phantom Deadline
And now it's up to 64 again... You have to give the guys that, they do testing that puts many "commercial" products to shame (especially when you check their bug tracker what the issues are that they find)

Nevermind the vagt plan, but what is there in the SKAL SE! file?... And no, I'm not posting me desktop. It's the plain old blue classic Windows desktop (since this is my work computer, which is used for presentations to clients).

He does seem to have a dislike of Brahmin though... I always find that "guard the brahmin from the wolf pack" quest unnecessarily difficult, because my team mates decides to genocide all bovines before the lupines get a chance to do it. Once the Brahmin go hostile, I end the combat with a few well thrown hand grenades - Grenade: *Boom!* Brahmin: *Splat!* Gorth: *Reload!*

Screensavers...who else can run this beast?
Not sure if this is the one you are looking for... when I get back to my Nvidia equipped machine, I'll see if I can find the equivalent setting there. It's the one called "Wait for vertical refresh" I think.

I'm sick of WW2 games.
Sounds suspiciously like the old Warhammer 40k "Epic" system... Nothing like trampling the little imperial guardsmen and pointy eared eldar infantry underneath the massive feet of my Gargants.

Need a Hard Drive
Does your controller recognise more than 127Gb? It might not be Windows that is the problem... That I should ever utter those words!

Lost at Sea
From the PDF file.... 2 Gallon can of oil/pertrol mixture: Critical for signalling. The mixture will float and could be ignited with one the 5 pound notes and a match (there is more explanation in the text as to what you've got in your combined pocketses). WHat the experts don't say is how you get away from the this conflagration or what to do if the wind should push the life raft into the flames!

Games you are looking forward to
The anniversary game is exactly that. A remake of the original running on the Tombraider: Legends engine While the latter didn't have the sense of freedom and exploration of the original, there is hope that the remake might. Not to mention, that it would be able to run on a Windows machine without resorting to Dosbox and/or whatsitsname the 3dfx Glide emulator program.

Disciple...
He is one of the few characters (if you like me, avoid turning him into a jedi) who can make use of the rather comprehensive collection of heavy armours you end up with. Let him stay a soldier and give him your best rifle and armour. Unfortunately, there was no ball-gag among the equipment you could make him wear.

Top 25 PC Games of All Time
My copy of "The Hobbit" (old adventure games from Melbourne House) came with the book "The Hobbit". Thats how I got into reading Tolkien in the first place. Couldn't finish the damn game without reading the book...

What properties would you like to see games made from?
Either one of Games Workshops two main settings, Warhammer or Warhammer 40.000 There has been a few RTS and FPS games (and an squad combat game called Chaos Gate) released so far. None of it too exciting. *Daydreaming of what Obsidian could do with a setting where genocide, murder, rape, injustice, slavery, witch hunts, human sacrifice etc. are perfectly acceptable topics*
