  1. I wonder if you can pause Frieren anywhere and use it as a wallpaper. It sure is pretty
  2. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy8vw62j3g9o Saw this last week. My first thought was, with friends like these, who needs Putin?
  3. The site I was trying to access was a Flux AI image generation service, but it is now accessible again
  4. How can you not love Bernie Sanders? ok, so I’m a bit biased. Still worth a listen
  5. I thought it was just me. Your browser is working, destination website is working, Cloudflare Copenhagen is not working
  6. I expected some bad cover version of an old b52’s song. Turns out it wasn’t
  7. Forget drop bears. Australia presents… drop crocs (Yes ambush predator crocs jumping down from trees ) https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c2lpyrnjleeo
  8. There are two content creators on YouTube I support on patreon, juice media (Honest Government Ads) and the other being Magistra Vitae (ancient history stuff) Just got a message that my supporter pin has shipped from the latter
  9. Would it be tasteless of me to quote my signature here?
  10. I know, it's an AI music video. You still have to put some effort in if you want specific outcomes though. And it's WH40k
  11. Honest Government ads take on New Zealand and its National Party (putting the 'n' back in cuts)
  12. T-Rex lives matter. If Trump keeps sic’ing the schutzstaffel on them, they’ll end up becoming extinct
  13. I suspect most people, myself included, would agree to that. One problem with that though.... https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c0jq63edv21o "They – and Netanyahu – have been implacably opposed to any role for the Palestinian Authority in Gaza, and any pathway to a Palestinian State. The deal Netanyahu has now agreed to outlines both, though with heavy caveats." Nothing new there, Netanyahu and his like minded members of the government have always been militantly opposed to even the idea of a Palestinian state.
  14. The biggest problem, imho, is that two key players Hamas and Netanyahu have nothing to gain from peace. On the contrary, for both, their continued existence and holding on to power requires a perpetual state of war
  15. @BruceVC I don’t think Trumps ambitions are relying on getting elected for life, just on being able to seize power for life. Those tiny cogwheels inside his head trying to assess whether or not his interior police/national guard goons will help him do away with the pesky election process or whether the regular army will oppose it (I get the impression that US veterans are not fond of him) edit he has repeatedly shown little interest in following rules other than when it benefits him. Insurrection, hello?
  16. Now that this Reinhard Heydrich Charlie Kirk fellow ended up dead, the decree that "...all LGBT members in the Reich six years of age or older were to wear a badge which consisted of a colorful rainbow..." may be postponed, possibly indefinitely?
  17. I'm still at episode 11... now I'm not sure I want to watch episode 12 Besides Dandadan season 2, I think I mentioned I started watching Secrets of the Silent Witch. A show that is about as 180 degrees opposite from Dandadan as you can get, but who cares? I enjoy it
  18. It’s interesting how Mads Mikkelsens career evolved. Professional dancer that in his home country used to be known for his comedic roles in The Green Butchers and Adams Apples (the latter together with In China they eat Dogs bring my two favourite Danish movies)
  19. Looks like you found thd place already, it’s a very old game, so quite some ways down the list leaving a link to the section here just in case other people see your post and wonder if such a thing exist https://forums.obsidian.net/forum/18-star-wars-knights-of-the-old-republic-ii-the-sith-lords/
  20. Sadly I wasn't home in Brisbane to experience the Riverfire 2025 festival. I hope I'll be there for the 2026 festival though! The airshow is only part of it, the fireworks at night is probably only outdone by the Sydney Harbour New Years fireworks edit: I've seen clips from previous years posted elsewhere and so many self proclaimed know it all are adamant it's fake and AI and nowhere in the world would something like this be allowed. Having been there and experienced it myself many times now, I'm like: Welcome to the real world, when reality literally overwhelms the mental capacity of some edit: a few short clips from above mentioned fireworks
  21. War is one of the few things Europeans are truly passionate about. Never underestimate human stupidity
  22. You can’t really lose a war if it’s still ongoing, can you?
  23. Looks like a significant escalation could happen
