Infinity Ward founders canned by Activision
You guys do realise that, besides the parties directly involved, nobody is likely to know what really happened? Not saying that the posts doesn't make for interesting reading, but the horse can feature in the next Romero movie I don't envy the court that has to untangle the mess.

Why is this game $70 in Australia on Steam?
The only place I've bought games online from before. I've been sticking to buying DRM free games though, so I wouldn't know if such things would lead to any kind of hassle?

Why is this game $70 in Australia on Steam?
I know. I used to live in Europe. When the US Dollar was higher than the Euro, prices for Digital Rivers EU customers would be in US Dollars, when the Euro pulled ahead, they could suddenly change their system so people would pay in Euro (on a 1:1 exchange mind you). Parallel (sp?) import FTW

A number of posts about the Katyn event itself moved here- Friggin family.
Who needs TV when you've got the internets? >_ Sounds like you really need to get away from home for a while. Study, education, work anything that takes you elsewhere and gives your a feeling of more control over your own life.- Katyn
An act of God strikes down a plane full of counter-revolutionaries, and you claim that it's a great tragedy? This is divine judgment. So you're a Marxist- Poland torn apart by a single plane crash
Yeah, they went to Russia to commemorate a large number of Polish army leaders being killed by the Russians. Did any of them by any chance piss off Putin?- Poland torn apart by a single plane crash
There is a certain bizarre irony in there, isn't there?- Naxalites v. Corporate Shills
It can be defeated, just not by conventional warfare, alone. Basically there are two options: full scale genocide or excellent counter intelligence work. The British used to be very good at the second option. Actually, they are quite good at the first one too. Look up info on the Boer war- I'm Commander Shepard and this is also my favorite thread on Obsidian
For me, it might originate from a severe dislike of spam and pushy marketing. As I saw it, the camp might as well have had a huge Coca-Cola ® statue with the title "Coca-Cola revives and sustains" (slogan from 1905). People aren't always rational in what triggers their likes and dislikes- I'm Commander Shepard and this is also my favorite thread on Obsidian
I felt like that guy with the glowing neon sign above his head that said "Buy Me!" in Dragon Age was such an insult, that I promised myself not to spend money on any EA/Bioware DLC's. I know you should never say never, but so far I haven't seen any glowing reviews of "Kazumi" that would change my mind.- What are you playing now?
Good luck, Kill. I tried recently but I just don't have it in me to replay ME1 any more. I wish they'd release an import editor so you could tamper with your Shepard to your hearts content and avoid having to play the damn game again. http://www.masseffectsaves.com/ Look for Gibbed save editor. An invaluable tool for those of us who weren't really into ME1- The Greatest LP/AAR of All Time
One of the more bizarre moments in an old EUIII game (also from Paradox), the battle for the north American continent was finally decided when imperial Tahitian forces crushed the last pockets of resistance of the kingdom of Quebec... (Tahiti became so mighty because a truckload of Spanish colonies defected due to constant Spanish warfare and the ensuing war exhaustion)- What you did today

Too few zombies, too much special fx DHL just delivered a package from Amazon... Zombie Pack 2: Zombie Holocaust, Flesh Eater and Burial Ground- Steampunk Taxidermy

Started watching the Benny Hill Megaset (all episodes from 1969-1989). Still a fair few episodes to go.- Theological question
Depends on what came first, doesn't it? Satans fall or free will of humans. Humans didn't really get to exercise their socalled free will until put in Eden... with that tree with forbidden fruits no less. God can not claim good faith on that one, as it was bound to happen eventually. Otherwise, why would the tree have been there in the first place. Makes about as much sense as trying to talk a kitten out of chasing a ball of yarn. Just imagine if Adam and Eve had lived happily ever after and died from old age without any offspring. So much for the masterplan. Edit: Regarding the Platypus, what else to do with all the spare bits from creation?- Dragon Age Discussion
You lost me there... is the problem with the different long sizes in x86 and x64 platforms? I thought it was language platform specific. Does your language default that to long int or long float- Moscow metro bombing
Justifiable or not, it wouldn't surprise me if a number of russians, young and old, sees Europe, USA and China the way it's illustrated. - Poland torn apart by a single plane crash
