  1. It's almost certainly not a steam key, but a paradox key. You need it (if desired, optional) for paradox forum registration as it gives access to restricted forums like tech support, and to use the metaserver for multiplayer. I bought my CK II on steam... got a steam key and redeemed it on my steam client. It has been working so far
  2. Unfortunately I had to spend $10 on it because of the stupid point buy system. I had left over points from when I bought the DA2 and ME2 DLC's, but fell just short of the 1200 points. Sucks to be me, so I had to buy 800 points for $10
  3. The need for cheap labour?
  4. Bought the Omega DLC for ME3. Let's see what Aria is up to.
  5. The latter sounds a bit like when I'm trying to talk my body into getting out of bed in the morning, especially towards the end of the week Sat in front of my computer yesterday and stared blankly at the screen. Got a bunch of new Steam and Gamersgate acquisitions that need some love and attention.
  6. Hmm, Tigs did a 'Let's play CK II' not that long ago
  7. This. Somebody mentioned Pazaak. One of the few minigames I didn't hate passionately after trying it, because the game was fun in itself. It could have been a completely self contained game, like solitaire or mah-jong and provide entertainment for it's own sake, not as something to "beat" to get extra bonuses elsewhere. Lockpicking, hacking, etc. needs to go die horribly. They have all without fail being "work" rather than "fun" and rarely completely optional.
  8. I remember way back in time in Denmark when headlights were still manually controlled. It didn't happen to me (more luck than skill), but a number of friends had to do the walk and ask for help (and cables). Much teasing ensued
  9. That *really* depends on what genres you play and like (or dislike). The "indie" game that I've spent the most hours on is Gratuitous Space Battles It's an acquired taste though
  10. I don't think there was a deadline? Sadly, my spare games are physical copies (with wear and tear), so only spare digital download I was entitled to (once Wasteland 2 gets released) has already been promised away, but not actually given yet. You sort of need a key for it first
  11. Thread getting a bit long. More thread here
  12. Start of old thread End of old thread Interesting game The Void. I really need to complete it some day
  13. It is entirely possible to build a gunslinger with the feat that lets you block blaster shots with your bare hands I am still a bit miffed that the original kotor forced my badass rogue to change class into a whimpy jedi.
  14. Yeah, but they're all in their neat little packages so I can get a picture of the size, but little else. Yeah, that sure helps Sorry, not much help then. I've got a programmable mouse with its own lcd display, memory and processor and a gazillion features, but I use it mostly for 3D applications, not for gaming. Gives a bit of self esteem and bragging rights, but that about it. I chose it mostly because it looked like my old mouse. Insert some Norman Bates reference here.
  15. Well, the flash sales are dangerous for my credit card. Picked up a Orcs must Die! 2 and a few flight sims that were on sale too.
  16. Ideally you would have some well stocked physical store where you live? Not one to speak, having used the same Microsoft Intellipoint 5 button mouse for almost a decade, but the single most important thing for me was whether or not the physical shape felt "comfortable" in my hand (and I got size XXL hands) Second priority was the number of buttons as I've grown fond of multiple button shortcuts over the years, but it would take the back seat to the actual shape of the mouse. Speaking of which, my current one looks at least superficially like a similar shape to the one pictured.
  17. I thought the blue cheese would break down the enzymes without any help from a digestive system
  18. Junk food. Latest tool in the genocide arsenal Peace? Fat chance.
  19. That would be a typical self-centered human view point though. It's based on the assumption that we are important enough for other species to pay attention to, not to mention worth the effort to send space junk in our direction. Just waiting for ESA or NASA or some such to discover a probe floating by with the message "Greetings, I'm Zzxzxcc from the 6443 system. I worked as a treasurer for the former benevolent dictator and need your help to relocate the planetary funds of the former regime..."
  20. Maybe it's because the Gaza strip has effectively been turned into an internment camp (I'll be nice and not call it a KZ camp)? When you keep a group of people prisoner, isolate them, demolish infrastructure, block access to trade of goods (and ideas), you create a breeding ground of resentment and radicalism (what was the name of that movie where New York had been turned into a big prison island???). The west bank has it slightly easier, because they can still access supplies and get in touch with the outside world through Jordan. Root of the problem is the Apartheid policy that dictates that non-ethnic jews are not allowed to make up more than a certain percentage of the population in the state of Israel, so all those people kicked off their land has nowhere to go but the refugee camps and twiddle their thumbs (or build bombs, preach hatred, whatever).
  21. Did you try the v-sync settings on/off? Just an idea since it sometimes does funny things with mouse controls in some games.
  22. Thread getting a bit long. More stuff here
  23. Start of old thread End of old thread Guys I am really surprised that no one has commented on this game, I'll try again. " Look at this exciting uupcoming game" 'A' for effort. Looks interesting enough. Will wait and see feedback from release version though
  24. Tupac? Some kind of Inca deity?
