  1. which post would that be? the one where i was agreeing with DarthRevans comparison in regards to the ongoing discussion? It may have been a short post, but it was directly tied to the discussion at hand and was posted with the intention of carrying the discussion forward. Your post is made in a feeble attempt to troll, like most of your posts around these forums. You've got nothing to add, so take your annoying self elsewhere. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> By now I think you should be able to tell what I think of your opinion, and so you could probaly guess what you can do with this one.
  2. Do you really want to start talking about what I really think about your post?
  3. Ala Luke in Dark Empire. He feel to the darkside to destroy palpatine once and for all. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> bingo. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ya and it was uber-lame then too
  4. I love how whenever these post are made everyone becomes the ultimate samurai. Dual wielding is stupid, but it draws in the fanboys, plain and simple. i hate getting feed this "Luke didn't do this because I read in this book by Kevin Anderson blah blah blah."
  5. They'll be more info available, but I don't know if it will make a whole lot more sense.
  6. I can't I like books too much
  7. That would make Nur Ab Sur totally feel icky.
  8. I'd always respected you pretty well until this
  9. I've read all the books after ROTJ up to the first two installments of the NJO, and then most but not all of the Tales of the Jedi, also read most of Shatterpoint until I just couldn't read it anymore. Its pretty evident that if I could have read all those other crappy books I could have finished Shatterpoint, but somehow it was just too much, and I never leave books incomplete. Oh, and I read all the first four or five X-wing books
  10. When I first heard about K2 I really hoped that they would use Revan again, that was before I really gave much thought to "how" they would do it. If they had really wanted to I think they would have, but when they didn't do it for K2 basically that ship sailed.I'm sure we wil hear something about what happen to both Revan and the Exile, but in no way could we meet them, theres just the obvious facts of there alignment, some people out there actually think one of the two and even in some really extreme cases both of them are female. If they had planned for this maybe something could be done, but we'll probaly just have to live with the fact that none of the NPCs in the game will be the same. The whole 20 yrs, later doesn't really work either, 5yrs. between segments in the trilogy, its Star Warsy
  11. I concur, most of the EU is total crap, I use to like the aforementioned Zahn Trilogy, but then recently I remember the Luke Skywalker clone crap. There are indeed a couple of o.k. parts in the whole EU, but never a complete story.
  12. Wow thats like half a Tuesday showings at your local theater for one of his "films"
  13. I've heard that TFT aren't as good for gaming
  14. His boyfriend things so too, but he was probaly if not totally responsible, in the know about his fathers assassination. Alexander was a man with an incrediable thirst for power, and the means to quench that thirst one the battlefield. To some he might truely be great, but to others he was just a tyrannt bent on conquest. He was a lucky man too, which is essential to any "winner" in history. To be completely honest if one was to judge history by Alexander's standards then Napoleon was atleast equally as great, especially since he was born a commoner and not the son of a king.
  15. Thats what you get for living in the prison colony, say hello to Ripley for me
  16. Are you serious?
  17. Well atleast its a really good game with cohesion between this story and the previous, oh wait thats not really true. Its a uh pretty o.k. game with some great great parts, and an ending that shouldn't piss off 'everyone'
  18. sounds pretty solid, I guess I'm going to check it out
  19. I personally don't really care about graphic content in games. On the one hand if I ever have children of my own, I will for the most part try to keep them away from such things as we will be living in a treehouse in the ancient forest of Peru. Where as I don't think the games directly cause anyone to commit violent acts, they do indeed cause a desenitization towards them, that I would like people to be at a certain maturity where they can make a more rational choice to be subject to it or not. Now I'm not saying this desentization causes anyone to think its acceptable to commit like acts, I fear it does cause apathy to set in. Plus its just hard to see an extremely compassionate person wanting to see these images in the first place. On the other hand if extreme violence is what you want then who am I to tell you that you probaly have Columbine-esque fantasies, and that if only the other kids weren't so cruel that you might have been more well-adjusted, that your parents probaly love you, that they just didn't know how to express it, and that its made you somewhat a shell of a person. That these violent acts you so love are a symptom of a much larger "condition" and that you're filling the void with a wash of sensory overloading perceptions that will oneday need to manifest itself in one way or the other. Cause that'd be pure B.S.
  20. Ya and thats why Dirk Nowitski has won so many championships
  21. To me it seems that the whole thing reads like an astrology chart. I took the test and answered the opposite of how I really though and although the some of the new information was completely incorrect, alot of it was "dead-on"
  22. Well, it seems religion isn't the only doctrine thats the beneficiary of blind faith, really the only difference seems to be that while in religious circles its followers seem to achieve there kicks by believe they're more devoteed in their following of the tenets, those who follow science just seem to think they're more intelligent then everyone else. Its amazing what misconceptions faith can bring.
  23. Its good to have a hobby, when I was a kid I liked dinosaurs
  24. The 7 forms are crap. Nick Gillard himself said so. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ya its strange how the E.U. wants to be considered canon, but continualy runs off on its own. Bad ideas from bad writers
  25. its fun, the missions are alittle better this time, but the online play is still what really drives it. My friend has it and we played a pretty good amount earlier today, I'm not sure if I'm going to buy it, but I'm thinking about it
