Well so far I am not finding core to be that difficult apart from the few encounters. I could feel the difference in the early levels between normal and core in that crits from archers wrecked me, but now on higher levels I just steamroll most mobs without any tactics, I use Nenio for the skill check mostly, unless I need her for some fights. I sometimes want to add Wenduag as the third archer just to see if my front line would manage to get a hit in. I would really like for Owlcat to do something like a Heart of Fury mode, where they actually add something to the gameplay and not only inflate the numbers.

That has become standard MO during the fights. But the first time I got him it was Lann doing all the dmg, kind of random. Should have protected the whole party from negative level though instead of just the tank.

Even modern games that were made for a controller, like God of War (especially Ragnarok), would be much easier on kb+m. A large part of the difficulty in GoW are fast moving enemies that dash/tp outside your field of view, which would be a non issue with a mouse.

I disliked the controls in DS1 immensely, although I used mouse and keyboard and the original port of the game.

DS1 movement for me was janky as hell, I can only imagine then how DS2s felt.
